Bathroom tissue holder

A toilet tissue holder for easy engaging and disengaging a bathroom tissue roll is comprised of; a “” shape arm, wherein two shallow cylindrical tubes having male grooves out side of the tube wall are developed facing each other at the end of both arms; two wound springs placed inside of each shallow tube; two hemisphere tissue roll holders placed over each spring; and two cylindrical caps having female groove inside wall thereof. It is very easy to engage and disengage a toilet tissue role even with one hand.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

Current application relates to a bathroom tissue holder that makes it easy to replace a new roll of tissue with one hand and minimize waste of excess tissue.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Most of toilet tissue holder is comprised of a solid case having two solid arms and a shrinkable crossing bar engaged between the solid arms of the case. Therefore, a user has to use both hands to replace a new tissue role. One hand holds the used roll and the other hand suppresses the shrinkable crossing bar. Some of the crossing bar is too tight to suppress with bare hand. It is the primary purpose of the current application to provide an easy to replace bathroom tissue holder even with one hand. The secondary purpose is to save tissues. Most of the prior art's tissue holder allow free rotation of the tissue role. So if a user takes the end of the tissue and pulls it hard, the roll rotates freely and excess tissues are stretched from the roll and sometimes touch the wet floor of the bathroom. Then the wetted tissue is useless. The tissue roll of the current application prevents such waste by controlling the friction between the tissue roll holder and the cardboard tube at the center of the tissue roll to protect environment by saving resources.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART

U.S. Pat. No. 6,755,382 to Melnick illustrates a paper tissue roll holder having two opposed arms with slidable back frames that have support protrusions extending inwardly from ends of the arms, to engage in the ends of a tissue paper roll. U.S. Pat. Nos. 5,950,961 and 5,878,976 to Duck illustrate a spring actuated, paper towel holding/dispensing apparatus, that utilizes a main body which slidably engages two support arms, with lateral tension provided by a set of spring members which runs inside the main body and connects the support arms. U.S. Pat. No. 5,662,288 to Chiang illustrates a width changeable paper towel holder having a fixed plate, a pair of pull-out plates which are slidably received between an upper and lower grooved rails provided on a fixed plate. U.S. Pat. No. 5,222,678 to Carrington illustrates a toilet tissue roll holder. One end of the lanyard is securely attached to the knob through a hole in the knob. U.S. Pat. No. 4,105,168 Rutherford illustrates a toilet paper holder comprising a pair of members interconnected together with one member being slideably movable with respect to the other member. U.S. Pat. No. 4,097,002 to Krueger illustrates a roll tissue holder having a telescoping wall mounting means. U.S. Pat. D459,128 to Meck, et al. and U.S. Pat. D484,483 to Chan illustrate solid roll tissue holder with various design. None of the prior art illustrates a bathroom roll tissue holder that is so simple and easy to replace a new roll tissue as provided in this invention.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is a primary object of current application to provide, eliminating the shortcomings of the prior art, a toilet tissue holder for easy engaging and disengaging of bathroom roll tissue. The bathroom roll tissue holder of the current application is comprised of; a “” shape arm, wherein two shallow cylindrical tubes having male grooves out side of the tube wall are developed facing each other at the end of both arms; two wound springs placed inside of each shallow tube; two hemisphere tissue roll holders placed over each spring; and two cylindrical caps having female groove inside wall thereof. When a user tries to engage a roll of bathroom tissue, he/she just push the roll of tissue between the two tissue role holders. The roll of tissue pushes the hemisphere roll holders apart. Then the springs inside of the shallow tubes are retracted to allow the roll of bathroom tissue proceeds further inside between the two tissue role holders. Disengaging a paper spool after use all of the tissue is just pull out the paper spool. The secondary purpose is to save tissues. Most of the prior art's tissue holder allow free rotation of the tissue role. So if a user takes the end of the tissue and pulls it hard, the roll rotates freely and excess tissues are stretched from the roll and sometimes touch the wet floor of the bathroom. Then the wetted tissue is useless. The tissue roll of the current application prevents such waste by controlling the friction between the tissue roll holder and the cardboard tube to protect environment by saving resources.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

FIG. 1 is a front view of the bathroom tissue holder (1) of the current application. And FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the portion “A” in the FIG. 1. The bathroom tissue roll holder (1) is comprised of; a “” shape arm (2), wherein two shallow cylindrical tubes (3) having male grooves (4) out side of each tube wall (5) are developed facing each other at the end of both arms; two wound springs (6) placed inside of each shallow tube (3); two hemisphere tissue roll holders (7) placed over each spring (6); and two cylindrical caps (8) having female groove (9) inside wall thereof.

FIG. 3 is a front view of the shallow cylindrical tube (3) in the FIG. 2. A circular inner wall (10), having the same diameter with that of the spring (6), is developed inside of the shallow tube (3). The spring (6) is inserted inside of the inner wall (10). The inside (11) of the hemisphere tissue roll holder (7) is an empty space and a rubber gasket (12) is placed around the brim of the flat circle.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the cylindrical cap (8) in the FIG. 2. The depth (15) of the cap (8) is deeper than the depth (16) of the shallow cylindrical tube (3) with the thickness of the outer wall (5) of the shallow cylindrical tube (3). When the cap (8) is fully engaged, there is no gap between the rear side (17) of the cap (8) and the end (18) of the “” shape arm (2). A female groove (19) is developed along the inside wall of the cap (8). The front side (20) of the cap (8) is narrowed to hold the rubber gasket (12). The inner diameter (21) of the front side (20) is equivalent to the diameter (22) of the hemisphere tissue roll holder (7).

FIG. 5 is a front view of the hemisphere tissue roll holder (7) of the current application and FIG. 6 is a rear view of the hemisphere tissue roll holder (7) of the current application. The inside of the holder (7) is empty. A convex groove (23) is developed inside of the holder (7). The inner diameter (24) of the convex groove (23) is equivalent to the outside diameter (25) of the spring (6). FIG. 7 is a side view and FIG. 8 is an over view of the bathroom tissue holder (1).

FIG. 9 is a schematic drawing showing the engagement of a tissue roll (26) to the holder (1). When a user tries to engage a bathroom tissue roll (26), he/she just pushes the roll (26) of tissue between the two tissue role holders (7). The roll (26) of tissue pushes the hemisphere roll holders (7) apart. Then the springs (6) inside of the shallow tubes are retracted to allow the roll (26) of bathroom tissue proceeds further inside between the two tissue holders (7). When the role (26) is aligned with the holders (7), the springs (6) repulse back the holders (7) and push the holders (7) into the hole of the cardboard tube (27). Disengaging a cardboard tube (27) after using all of the tissue is just pull out the cardboard tube (27). The hemisphere surface of the tissue holders (7) renders smooth rolling of the paper cardboard tube thereon. All these steps can be induced with only one hand of a user.

1. A toilet tissue holder for easy engaging and disengaging a bathroom tissue roll that is comprised of; a “” shape arm, wherein two shallow cylindrical tubes having male grooves out side of the tube wall are developed facing each other at the end of both arms; two wound springs placed inside of each shallow tube; two hemisphere tissue roll holders placed over each spring; and two cylindrical caps having female groove inside wall thereof.
