Retrac-A-Vac

A Shop Vacuum Cleaner commonly utilized for the Industrial and non industrial environments alike. Our shop vacuum cleaner, hereafter known as the “Retrac-A-Vac”. Said Retrac-A-Vac is vacuum cleaning product which incorporates extremely unique features. Said Retrac-A-Vac's uniqueness rests in its' ability and “on demand”, to in real time extend, deploy and retract, draw back its' vacuum hose. Said Retrac-A-Vac's real time hose manipulation feature though unique in itself, is supported by other internal mechanical advantages within unit. The additional features inasmuch when grouped together, collectively and in a mutual sense support the main feature's true functionality. As a result and united together they are indeed unique notwithstanding in themselves. The Retrac-A-Vac embodiment encompasses a cylindrical outer housing covering. Said outer cover housing having an ensconced inner structure for the depositing of debris, be it solid or liquid substance, additionally and within said housing, there is incorporated an electric motor and blower container—holding compartment. The Retrac-A-Vac vacuum's outer cylindrical housing covering incorporates swivel and locking style wheel casters located at its' base for unit's maneuverability. Said Retrac-A-Vac provides for a removable top cover that is manually detachable for undemanding access to the inner enconsed housing for removal of debris. Said top cover has latch-able mechanisms for its' attachment or removal and also provides a hand grip that varies in locking position for manual carrying. The Retrac-A-Vac's ensconced inner housing containing the comportment for debris deposit provides along its outer surface, an elongated hose that straightforwardly wraps in a spiral fashion around and within the grooved spiral channel along and about the inner cavity's outer surface. Said methodology designed to work with multiple configurations not necessarily reflected in supplied drawings. The Retrac-A-Vac's inner housing having a costed protrused cavity shaft outwardly extending through the outer cylindrical housing side cover with added hand grip that allows for the manual expansion and retraction of said vacuum hose. The outer most end of said vacuum hose provides for a vacuum hand grip, control handle and trigger with mechanisms and capabilities for the physical intake of debris. Sold hand grip housing also incorporates control switches for hose's deployment and retractably whereby the outer extended hose easily retracts into the costed protused cavity shaft on demand and in real time. Alternatively and not shown there is incorporated within Retrac-A-Vac's main housing and/or cover, a similar hose deployment & retraction control mechanism as incorporated within sold Retrac-A-Vac's hose grip.

Description
FIELD OF INVENTION

Please note that this application refers to Provisional Patent Application No. 60/545,500 (copy of enclosed,) filed on Feb. 19, 2004. The invention relates to a motorized cleaning device giving simplicity in allowing access to all areas of cleaning for debris or foreign matter through the use and capability and without tangling or twisting the extending and retracting of its' vacuum cleaning hose, while the base vacuum embodiment sits resolutely in one central an preferred location. The hosing gear, motor, grooved guides, manual interface and other mechanical advantage of components located within the Retrac-A-Vac's embodiment assist in the unique functionality of this device.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE RETRACTOVAC

The present invention primary object is to provide a retractible hose to enable a user of such device to easily gain accessibility to vacuum any floor surface, shelves, and the like without the hose equipment tangling or twisting and subequently preventing continuous suction.

The hose is enconsed within the base frame that is postioned or wrapped along the inner shell cavity to alleviate any protuberance and allow easy extension and refraction of the hose from the exterior cavity shaft covering/housing the hose gear. The ease and use of the hose works systematically by pressing along the grip handle the has a trigger button for the release of the hose to either be extended or retracted and a mechanism for keeping the hose at a particular extension without retracting. The grip handle offers either a switch or trigger along with on the base unit (not shown,) to begin or terminate the operation of vacuuming.

The top cover of the outer cavity provides the user with a grip handle that locks in any position to move the vacuum smoothly along the surfaces or easy carrying to any area for storage or portability. The latches or clamps of the outer top cover tightly secure the cover so to prevent depressurization and gives accessibility to the inner cavity containing the inner liner for cleaning.

The cylindrical outer cavity has a wheel base for the device to easily move along any surface and gives the swivel-ability to position itself along side appurtenances it encounters while maneuvering such device. Retrac-A-Vac apparatus in plurality can be positioned and secured to remain specifically in a stationary position along with the vacuum hose being set at a specific and as desired, overall length, (LOA)

BACKGROUND—DESCRIPTION OF PRIOR ART Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to vacuum cleaning product and more particularly, a vacuum cleaning product that lends itself to incorporating a on demand extending & retractable vacuum hose and nozzle. Said vacuum hose is controlled in a user friendly manner either in an automated or manual method.

Description of the Prior Art

There exist many variation of cleaning devices tackling many houshold or industrial chores. many devices lack the manueverability or capability for the hose gear to provide ease of the user to get into arduous spaces without falling short of hose. even with the capabilites provided within, any device would lack the positioning power to keep the hose at the bay position which a user desires, alleviating the hassle of tangling or twisitng of the hose itself. while it is evident that the proposed device is indicative of the obvious problems of a vacuum device, the present invention overcomes these dilemmas.

Many vacuum devices on the market and contain patentabilty fail to address the AFOREMENTIONED AND do NOT overcome these issues. devices that come in various shApes and sizes, containg elongated handles that are preset with no capability for repositioning or movement. they lack the ease of the user to get into an area of need without cumbersome difficulties or hindrances. other devices have upright machines encountering the same problems. other also HAVE maneuver handles, but still do not provide the same movement for ease.

A vacuum with A retractibility hose that can extend or pull back and provide continual extension CAPABILITY WITHOUT INTAGLEMENT OR TWISTING is diverse from all other devices today.

It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together, may also find a useful application in other types of constructions differing from the type described above.

While the invention has been illustrated and described as embodied in a Retrac-A-Vac. It is not intended to be limited to the details shown, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.

Without further analysis, the foregoing will so fully reveal the gist of the present invention that others can, by applying current knowledge, readily adapt it for various applications without omitting features that, from the standpoint of prior art, fairly constitute essential characteristics of the generic or specific aspects of this invention.

Claims

1. A new and improved vacuum cleaner, normal, upright, canister and shop type unit/s.

2. The new and improved vacuum allows for a durable steady light vacuum cleaning device having a base frame in the form of an outer shell cavity containing a housing compartment within its' cavity integrating the following:

A. An exterior top cover that contains a cord reel & positive latch-able handles for ease of attaching or removing such cover with a varying and locking in preferred position handle grip. Said handle grip also and in plurality incorporates a modulize area for cord wrap.
B. Potted universal swivel-able and on demand locking universal wheels located at the lower base of the outer shell cavity.
C. An inner housing container encompassing the following: I.) housing for enconsed motor and typical suction—blower mechanism. a:) Fixture adapter inner cavity fixture gear b:) Swivel-able fixture vacuum hose II.) retractable hosing having a: I:) Grip handle with motor control trigger mechanisms II:) Control mechanism for the hose deployment and retractably III.) Vacuum liner IV.) A casted protrused cavity shaft containing a hand grip covering located at the top cover's handle's access area.
