Detachable stove and barbecue combination
A detachable stove and barbecue combination being used as both heater and barbecue at the same time, which comprises a hollow compartment comprising an opening for loading fuel thereinto, and a detachable internal gridiron for placing meat thereon; a flue pipe on top of the compartment and in communication therewith for escaping smoke generated by burning fuel; and a support on underside of the compartment, the support having a predetermined height for mounting the compartment above the ground by the predetermined distance, enabling the combination to be detachable for eliminating the drawbacks of being bulky, not easy to move and not easy to clean.
The present invention relates to heating devices and more particularly to a detachable stove for both outdoor and indoor uses, the stove being adapted to additionally serve as a barbecue while heating.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONTemperature is relatively low in high latitude countries or mountains or plateaus of high elevation. People living in above areas typically wear thick clothes for keeping body warm while engaging outdoor activities. Sometimes, those also use temporary shelters as well as heating devices (e.g., stoves). The stoves are typically activated by burning fuel or electricity. Electricity is particularly suitable for activating the stove due to its convenience. However, electricity is typically unavailable in mountains or plateaus of high elevation. Thus, heater or stoves powered by electricity are of no use. Insteadly, fuel only used in a stove in such area is wood, coal, or oil.
A prior stove is shown in
However, the prior stove suffered from a couple of disadvantages. For example, it is bulky and not detachable such that a movement thereof may involve many persons. Further, it is not easy to clean or store since it is not detachable. Thus, it is desirable to provide a novel detach having features such as convenience and decreased manufacturing cost while without the inadequacies of the prior art.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAfter considerable research and experimentation, a detachable stove and barbecue combination according to the present invention has been devised so as to overcome the above drawbacks of the prior art.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a detachable stove and barbecue combination and which can be used as both heater and barbecue at the same time. The stove and barbecue combination comprises a hollow compartment comprising an opening for loading fuel thereinto, and a detachable internal gridiron for placing meat thereon; a flue pipe on top of the compartment and in communication therewith for escaping smoke generated by burning fuel; and a support on underside of the compartment, the support having a predetermined height for mounting the compartment above the ground by the predetermined distance. The above components are detachable such that by utilizing the invention prior drawbacks such as being bulky, not easy to move, and not easy to clean are eliminated.
The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description taken with the accompanying drawings.

A fresh air inlet 240 is provided on the outer surface of the compartment 200 between bottom of the compartment 200 and the opening 210. An air inlet control 245 is provided on a side of the fresh air inlet 240 and is also disposed on the outer surface of the compartment 200. The air inlet control 245 is adapted to open or close the fresh air inlet 240 for controlling air flowing through the fresh air inlet 240. This can optimize burning efficiency. Moreover, two handles 250 are provided on opposite sides of the outer surface of the compartment 200 for facilitating movement of the stove and barbecue combination 100.

The gridiron 220 is pivotably provided in the compartment 200 proximate the opening 210. Accordingly, the gridiron 220 is adapted to move in or out of the opening 210 of the stove and barbecue combination 100 by pivoting. Also, the gridiron 220 can be easily detached or assembled for replacing with a new one. The gridiron 220 is too hot to be touched by the hand when the stove and barbecue combination 100 is operating. As such, a hook 225 is used to pull the gridiron 220 out of the compartment 200 prior to placing meat thereon. Next, push the hook 225 toward inside of the compartment 200 for pushing the gridiron 220 back into the compartment 200. A lug 255 is formed on the outer surface of the compartment 200 (e.g., on the outer surface of the lower housing 270). The hook 225 may place on the lug 255 when it is not in use.

A top hood 315 is provided above top of the flue pipe 300 for preventing external objects or rain from falling into the flue pipe 300. A plurality of posts 317 are interconnected the hood 315 and top of the flue pipe 300. The posts 31 are of predetermined length for forming a plurality of openings for escaping smoke and preventing external objects from falling into the flue pipe 300.
