JR haircolor comb

The present invention consists of a system directly related to hair combs, but the JR Hair Color Comb is designed to have a reservoir on top of the comb teeth where there will be holes between the comb teeth, and a felt with teeth, called the felt teeth, will be slid half way onto a felt guide shaft (FIG. 3), then driven in from the front into the felt housing which is below the dye reservoir, then line up the felt teeth to the holes between the comb teeth, then slide the felt guide shaft right in through the felt guide sleeve so that the felt stabilizer seat will have a tight fit into the felt stabilizer seat sleeve which will allow the felt teeth to protrude further between the comb teeth. The top lid will be closed after filling with the color dye. The breather pipes on top of the reservoir tank help to create the atmospheric pressure on the color dye. This pressure makes the color dye travel through the felt housing holes to the felt and eventually to the felt teeth. Now the comb is ready to color the hair.

THE TECHNICAL OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to hair combs.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

There are many different types of combs for all different types of hair styles. JR Hair Color Comb is designed with a dye reservoir on top of the teeth to color hair.

Page 2 of 8 FIG. 2 Southeast isometric view shows the disposable felt and the felt guide.

Page 3 of 8 FIG. 3 Southeast isometric view shows the felt sitting on the shaft at a distance before the felt is inserted into the comb. This is to help the felt teeth to line up to the comb holes that is in between the comb teeth.

Page 4 of 8 FIG. 4 Right view shows zero distance between the stabilizer seat face and the felt front face where the stabilizer seat will be tight fit to the felt stabilizer seat sleeve at the same time it helps the felt teeth to protrude fully in between the comb teeth. This helps to transfer the dye from the reservoir to the hair.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

JR Hair Color Comb is designed to color hair. The comb teeth come in different lengths. For shorter hair, the comb comes with shorter teeth; for longer hair, the comb comes with longer teeth.

The felt teeth also come with different lengths. For more dye application, the felt comes with longer teeth, for less dye application, the felt will come with shorter teeth. These felts are disposable, hence it is thrown away once it is used.

Once the reservoir is filled with color dye, the dye will travel through the large holes of the felt housing to the felt and eventually get transferred to the felt teeth, hence when combing, the dye starts coloring the hair.

Another advantage is that once the stabilizer shaft unit and the felt are removed, the comb can be flushed out through the reservoir port.

Claims

1. an apparatus to color hair comprised of: a comb having a reservoir on top of the comb teeth where there will be holes between the comb teeth, a felt with teeth called the felt which will be slid halfway onto a felt guide shaft, then driven in from the front into the felt housing which is below the dye reservoir, then line up the felt teeth to the holes that are between the comb teeth, then slide the felt guide shaft right in though the felt guide sleeve so that the felt stabilizer seat will slide tight into the felt stabilizer seat sleeve which will allow the felt teeth to protrude further between the comb teeth.

2. an apparatus as set forth in claim 1, having the disposable felt slid onto the felt guide shaft before the assembly is driven into the felt housing from the front.

3. an apparatus as set forth in claim 1, having the felt teeth lined up to the holes that are between the comb teeth before the felt guide shaft is slid through the felt guide sleeve so that the felt stabilizer seat will slide tight into the felt stabilizer seat sleeve.

4. an apparatus as set forth in claim 1, having the breather pipes on top of the reservoir to create an atmospheric pressure on top of the hair color dye, which is inside the comb reservoir.

5. an apparatus as set forth in claim 1, the reservoir will be filled with hair color dye and the lid will be closed. The breather pipes will help to create the atmospheric pressure on top of the hair color dye that will allow the color dye to travel to the felt teeth efficiently. Now when combing, the color dye will color the hair.
