Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a unit of a flection exerciser, and more particularly to a unit that combines with a plurality of same units to compose a flection exerciser in various types in an easy way.

2. Description of Related Art

More and more people pay great attention on keeping figure fit and physical conditions well. Therefore, various small size exercisers are well developed in the market of exercise equipment. Particularly, flection exercisers are nice choices for exercise because they are light and small to be carried conveniently and selectively used to train partial muscles at chests, shoulders, arms, or backs.

A conventional one of the flection exerciser is integrally made of soft resilient material with durable property and resilient. Two ends of the flection exerciser are enlarged grip portions suitable for holding in hands. An extension rod extends between the two ends integrally and enables to be bent or swirled by its resilient capability. By having the above structure, the grip portions are held by hands and stretched for exercising.

However, the conventional flection exerciser has the following drawbacks:

1. The conventional flection exerciser has a stationary length and can not combine with others alike so that the conventional flection exerciser is limited in usage functions and poor in utility.

2. The conventional flection exerciser has a stationary flexibility and can not be connected with others alike to perform a looped one and not to change its flexibility so that usage efficiency of the conventional flection exerciser is poor.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A main objective of the present invention is to provide a unit of a flection exerciser that enables to conveniently connect to at least one same unit to perform the flection exerciser in various types. Disassembly of the flection exerciser is also rapid and easy.

Another main objective of the present invention is to provide a flection exerciser that enables to conveniently connect to at least one same unit to perform a loop flection exerciser or to adjust its flexibility.

To achieve the foregoing objectives, the unit of the flection exerciser comprises:

two enlarged grip portions and an extension portion connected between the two enlarged grip portions to compose an one-piece body made of resilient and durable plastic material;

a pin joint embedded in one enlarged grip portion; and

a box joint embedded in the other enlarged grip portion and corresponding to the pin joint.

By combining the pin joint and box joint, units are selectively and conveniently connected together to perform an elongated or looped flection exerciser in various types.

Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

A unit of a flection exerciser in accordance with the present invention is substantially made of resilient and durable plastic material in one-piece. Two ends of the flection exerciser are two enlarged grip portions and has an extension portion connected the two ends. The two grip portions have a pin joint and a box joint respectively, wherein each joint is a cylindrical body with two annular flanges at two ends and a slot longitudinally defined in the cylindrical body. The pin joint has an insertion defined at a distal surface thereon and the box joint has a corresponding insertion hole defined at a distal surface thereon. By having the pin joint and the box joint, the unit connects with other same units to elongate or loop to perform the flection exerciser in various types.

With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, a preferred embodiment of the unit 10 of a flection exerciser in the present invention is made of excellently resilient and durable plastic material in one-piece and has two ends. The unit 10 has two enlarged grip portions 11 formed at the two ends and an extension portion 12 extending between the two grip portions 11. When the unit 10 is manufactured by injection molding, the two grip portions 11 encompass a pin joint 13 and a box joint 14 respectively. The pin joint 13 has a cylindrical body 131 and an insertion 132 axially formed on the cylindrical body 131. The insertion 132 of the pin joint 13 has a locking stub 1321 formed at a distal end thereof. The cylindrical body 131 of the pin joint 13 has two ends, a slot 134 longitudinally defined therein and two annular flanges 133 respectively formed at the two ends of the cylindrical body 131. The slot 134 and the annular flanges 133 keep the pin joint 13 firmly combining with a corresponding one of the two grip portions 11 after injection molding to avoid detachment from the grip portion 11. The box joint 14 has a cylindrical body 141 and an insertion hole 142 axially defined in the cylindrical body 141. The insertion hole 142 of the pin joint 13 has a depth larger than a length of the insertion 132 on the pin joint 13 and has an L-shaped groove 1421 defined on an inner wall of the insertion hole 142, wherein the L-shaped groove 1421 has a distal bent section slightly extending to an opening of the insertion hole 142. The cylindrical body 141 of the box joint 14 has two ends, a slot 144 longitudinally defined therein and two annular flanges 143 respectively formed at the two ends of the box joint 14. The slot 144 and the annular flanges 143 keep the box joint 14 firmly combining with the other grip portion 11 after injection molding to avoid detachment from the grip portion 11.

With reference to FIGS. 3 to 5, when two units 10 of a flection exerciser are combined by the pin joint 13 and box joint 14 respectively on the two units 10, the insertion 132 of the pin joint 13 inserts into the insertion hole 142 of the box joint 14 to make the locking stub 1321 slide into the L-shaped groove 1421 in the insertion hole 142. Without pressing, the locking stub 1321 can not reach the bent section of the L-shaped groove 1421. Then, the two units 10 are pressed to close to each other and to make the grip portions 11 slightly deformed so that the locking stub 1321 enables to enter the bent section to achieve a firm combination of the two units.

By using the above-mentioned connection way, at least two units are selectively connected together to perform an elongated or looped flection exerciser in various types. Therefore, a user exercises different specific parts with the various flection exercisers at different postures as shown in FIGS. 6 to 16. Moreover, the flection exerciser enables to be modified according to different users and different exercise demands to create more pleasure when exercising.

According to above description of the preferred embodiment, the present invention has the following advantages:

1. The flection exerciser can be selectively composed of at least two units and conveniently assembled or disassembled in an easy engagement so that the flection exerciser has various functions and excellent utility.

2. Because the flection exerciser is selectively composed of multiple units 10 to achieve an elongated or looped one, flexibility and size of the flection exerciser can be adjusted to provide efficient training.

Although this invention has been described in its preferred form with a certain degree of particularity, it is understood that the present invention of the preferred form has been made only by way of example and that numerous changes in the details of construction and the combination and arrangement of parts any be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
