Multifunctional garment system
An improved easy-to-use apparatus for organizing, holding and carrying relief & aid devices including analgesic accessories on a multifunctional garment system including a carrier means in the form of a patient aid belt organizer. The patient aid belt organizer is to be worn by the patient, the carrier means holding the plurality of patient aid accessories including a napkin pack and a battery pack in combination with patient aid belt organizer. This patient aid belt organizer is directed to be worn by a patient user having limited mobility, said device having means for attaching a plurality of relief & aid devices for ready access to provide aid to the user. In the specific arrangement of the invention, the patient aid belt organizer is in the form of an expandable belt having a plurality of selected locations having hook and loop fastener means convenient to the user. In particular the “convenience” devices are releasably attached to a panel means having hook and loop hinge means to connect to a selected location on the patient aid belt organizer.
The invention described herein relates generally to a multifunctional garment system including a patient aid belt organizer for holding and organizing relief aid products used by individual/patients having limited mobility. Specifically, this device concerns the carrying of personal convenience items and other analgesic accessories by means of a patient aid belt organizer to be worn by the patient, the belt organizer is in the form of an expandable belt having a plurality of selected locations having hook and loop fastener means convenient to the user. In particular the patient aid devices are releasably attached to a Velcro panel means having hook and loop hinge means to connect to a selected location on the belt organizer. Once attached thereby the patient aid accessories are configured to be worn by a user patient.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION AND PRIOR ARTAs is well known, providing self-help measures for the elderly and invalid patients is extremely necessary in the United States and in other countries throughout the world. To be substantially self sufficient such individuals need to be able to access personal convenience items and other analgesic accessories by means without having to move about his/her abode and without losing track of such items.
The following U.S. Patents documents have been developed during a search of prior art.
“Relief & Aid Products”, Catalogue of Patient Aid Products, such as Wheel Chair with Arm Organizer, Wheel Chair handy pouch. This is a 67 page catalogue showing a wide array of patient aid devices.
A review of the above documents indicates that the prior art has not disclosed a multi-functional garment system including a carrier means device is in the form of a organizer belt for holding and organizing relief aid products used by individual/patients having limited mobility. Accordingly, it is desirable to provide for a new and improved patient aid organizer belt carrying of personal convenience items and other analgesic accessories by means of a patient aid belt organizer to be worn by the patient, wherein the belt organizer is in the form of an expandable belt having a plurality of selected locations having hook and loop fastener means for holding and organizing a plurality of patient aid relief aid products which overcomes at least some of the disadvantages of prior art.
OBJECTS OF INVENTIONAn object of the invention is to provide a multifunctional garment system including a carrier means in the form of a patient aid belt organizer to be worn by the patient, the carrier means holding the plurality of patient aid accessories.
Another object of the invention is to provide that the patient aid accessories are attached to the patient aid belt organizer with hook and loop fastener means.
Another object of the invention is to provide that the patient aid accessories include a Napkin/Tissue pack which is attached to the patient aid belt organizer with expandable cord.
Yet another object of the invention is to a battery Pack that may be employed to carry a plurality of batteries for use with camera flash, cigarette lighter, and includes a LED light that can last up to at least 12 hours, with a built-in 12 V socket to allow charging of additional small electronics which is attached to the patient aid belt organizer by hook and loop fasteners.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAn improved easy-to-use apparatus for organizing, holding and carrying analgesic accessories for use by a patient on a multifunctional garment system including a carrier means in the form of a patient aid belt organizer. The patient aid belt organizer is to be worn by the patient, the carrier means holding the plurality of patient aid accessories including a napkin, napkin pack and a battery pack in combination with patient aid belt organizer. This patient aid belt organizer is directed to be worn by a patient user having limited mobility, said device having means for attaching a plurality of relief & aid devices for ready access to provide aid to the user. In the specific arrangement of the invention, the patient aid belt organizer is in the form of an expandable belt having a plurality of selected locations having hook and loop fastener means convenient to the user. In particular the “convenience” devices are releasably attached to a panel means having hook and loop hinge means to connect to a selected location on the patient aid belt organizer. Such convenience devices are releasably attached holding and organizing a plurality of patient aid accessories as well as electrical devices in combination with an electric portable power pack appliances which is configured to be worn on the patient aid belt organizer of a user. Other devices to be attached to the patient aid belt organizer would include, a napkin packet, tissue packet, battery pack for electronic devices including camera flash, cigarette lighter, and includes a LED light that can last up to at least 12 hours, with a built-in 12 V socket to allow charging of additional small electronics.
In a first separate aspect of the invention, the invention provides an ancillary strap to insure that selected patient aid devices do not become detached from the belt and there fore lost by the patient. In particular an ancillary strap for use with a tissue packet in the form of an expandable cord assembly releasably attached by Velcro means to patient aid belt organizer wherein the Tissue Packet is releasably attached by clip means to the expandable cord assembly. In operation the strap organizer is employed to maintain the tissue packet in a selected location convenient to the user.
In a second separate aspect of the invention, the device may hold several individually secured pouches for holding tissues.
In a third separate aspect of the invention, the device holds sanitary tissues in a collapsible pouch, with the top of the pouch arranged to permit refilling of the tissue. This invention relates to a packet for folded sheet napkins, and more particularly facial napkins, which packets may refillable or of a disposable nature for serially dispensing inter folded and interleaved sheets of napkins from a compressed packet or from a loose pack of folded sheets one sheet at a time though an integral end opening which extends into the top of the dispenser.
In a fourth separate aspect of the invention, the device has sufficient space to allow the attachment of other devices and accessories using a hook and loop type fastener, such as Velcro.
The invention will be described for the purposes of illustration only in connection with certain embodiments; however, it is recognized that those persons skilled in the art may make various changes, modifications, improvements and additions on the illustrated embodiments all without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims
1. A device to be worn on a patient's waist for organizing and holding relief & aid devices including analgesic accessories used by individual/patients having limited mobility, comprising:
- a generally web shaped supporting member having a face and a back, the supporting member shaped with a curvature substantially equal to the curvature of a patient's waist;
- a plurality of fastener means comprising a plurality of hook and loop fastener panels positioned on the face of the supporting member;
- a plurality of selected relief & aid devices having a face and a back including cooperating hook and loop fastener panels on the back for selective attachment to the fastener means mounted on the face of the supporting member;
- clip means on the back of the supporting member for securing said supporting member at the patient's waist; and
- an accessory container means for holding a selected patient aid device for ready access to the wearer provide aid to the patient user.
2. The device of claim 1 wherein the supporting member further comprises a hook and loop fastener integral with the supporting member.
3. The device of claim 1 wherein the supporting member comprises a patient aid belt organizer with expandable cord having an accessory area for at least one pouch configured for holding a packet of tissues which is attached to the patient aid belt organizer with the expandable cord.
4. The device of claim 3 wherein the accessory area has a hook and loop material configured for holding a battery pack which may be employed to carry a plurality of batteries for use with small electronics.
5. The device in claim 4 the tissue pack comprises a container for dispensing tissues;
- said container comprising a pair of opposite end walls; a pair of side panels spaced slightly greater than the width of said stack and the width of said control plate; one of said end walls having a vertical slot therein for endwise removal of one tissue at a time from beneath said control plate; and a hook and loop fastener panel.
6. The device of claim 5 wherein the napkin pack is a refillable container for dispensing tissues sequentially from an interleaved stack of tissues, said tissues having reversed folds at opposite sides of the stack.
7. A patient aid belt organizer belt in the form of an expandable belt having a plurality of selected locations having hook and loop fastener hinge apparatus configured to connect to a mating hook and loop hinge apparatus at a selected location on the patient aid belt organizer belt wherein the selected relief & aid devices to be attached to the patient aid organizer belt would include at least one napkin packet.
