Mattress air-conditioning system
A mattress air-conditioning system is disclosed to include a mattress, a main breathing tube embedded in the mattress, a plurality of branch breathing tubes symmetrically perpendicularly extending from the main breathing tube at two sides and embedded in the mattress, and a hot/cold air blower disposed outside the mattress and connected to one end of the main breathing tube and controllable to provide hot/cold air to the main breathing tubes and the branch breathing tubes to regulate the temperature of the mattress.
1. Field of the Invention:
The present invention relates to air-conditioning systems and more particularly, to a mattress air-conditioning system for regulating the temperature of the mattress of a bed or sofa chair.
2. Description of the Related Art:
The mattress of a bed or the cushion of a sofa chair has a certain thickness and softness for comfortable sitting. However, when the user rests on a bed or sofa chair for a certain length of time during a hot day, the user's hips become hot. Further, because germs grow in number in the mattress of a bed or the cushion of a sofa chair, the mattress or cushion must be regularly cleaned and/or sterilized. However, it is not easy to clean or sterilize the mattress of a bed or the cushion of a sofa chair.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is the main object of the present invention to provide a mattress air-conditioning system, which effectively regulates the temperature of the mattress, kills germs in the mattress, and freshens the air.
According to one aspect of the present invention, the mattress air-conditioning system comprises a mattress, a main breathing tube embedded in the mattress, a plurality of branch breathing tubes symmetrically perpendicularly extending from the main breathing tube at two sides and embedded in the mattress, and a hot/cold air blower disposed outside the mattress and connected to one end of the main breathing tube and controllable to provide hot/cold air to the main breathing tubes and the branch breathing tubes to regulate the temperature of the mattress.
According to another aspect of the present invention, fasteners, for example, hook and loop materials are used to affix the main breathing tube and the branch breathing tubes to the spring coils of the mattress.
According to still another aspect of the present invention, an ozone generator is mounted inside the hot/cold air blower for generating ozone for carrying by hot/cold air provided by the hot/cold air blower to the inside of the mattress to kill germs in the mattress.
According to still another aspect of the present invention, a perfume dispenser is installed in the hot/cold air blower for dispensing a perfume into hot/cold air provided by the hot/cold air blower to freshen the air.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Referring to FIGS. 1˜3, a mattress air-conditioning system in accordance with the present invention is shown comprising a mattress 4, a main breathing tube 1 embedded in the mattress 4, a plurality of branch breathing tubes 2 symmetrically perpendicularly extending from the main breathing tube 1 at two sides and embedded in the mattress 4, a hot/cold air blower 3 disposed outside the mattress 4 and connected to one end of the main breathing tube 1 for providing hot/cold air to the breathing tubes 1 and 2 to regulate the temperature of the mattress 4.
The mattress 4 comprises a plurality of spring coils 41, and is covered with an airtight covering 42. The airtight covering 42 covers the horizontal bottom panel and vertical peripheral panels of the mattress 4, leaving the horizontal top panel of the mattress 4 breathable so that forced hot/cold air can pass out of the mattress 4 through the horizontal top panel of the mattress 4. Fasteners, for example, hook and loop materials 5 are used to secure the breathing tubes 1 and 2 to the spring coils 41 in place.
The hot/cold air blower 3 has installed therein an ozone generator 31 and a perfume dispenser 32.
Referring to
The aforesaid mattress 4 is made in the form of a bed. Alternatively, the mattress 4 can be made in the form of a cushion for a sofa chair 6 as shown in
A prototype of mattress air-conditioning system has been constructed with the features of FIGS. 1˜5. The mattress air-conditioning system functions smoothly to provide all the features discussed earlier.
Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
