Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a leather belt adapted to be put on around a waist of a user, and more particular, to a leather belt which has a panel-type heating element attached to the inside thereof and is covered with a cover containing negative ion radiating material to make the lower abdominal portion of the user warm and radiate a large quantity of negative ions and far-infrared rays, thereby improving the health of the user.

2. Background of the Related Art

In general, when a user suffers from abdominal pains or menstrual pains, these pains can be treated based on the prescriptions of the doctor. However, if its symptoms are slight, the pains may be cured and stopped if the abdominal portion of the user is kept warm to thereby activate the functions of the bowels.

Accordingly, it is necessary to warm the abdominal portion of the user by disposing a thermopad, which is warmed by heating the water therein, wrapped by a towel on the abdominal portion of the user or to use the thermopad emitting the heat by means of the electric energy so as to appease the abdominal pains or the menstrual pains.

However, with regard to the use of the thermopad as described above, there occur problems such that troublesome warming process was required to warm the water, and the thermopad could be used restrictly because it requires a space on which the user could lie to use the thermopad, so it could not be used while the user is in the outside, to thereby make the use very inconvenient.

Further, with regard to the conventional thermopad, it was impossible to expect such effects as improving the heath of the user by activating the functions of the bowels and facilitating the circulation of the blood through the radiation of the negative ions or the far-infrared rays beneficial to the human body.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems occurring in the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to provide a leather belt which has a panel-type heating element attached to the inside thereof and is covered with a cover containing negative ion radiating material to make the lower abdominal portion of the user warm and radiate a large quantity of negative ions and far-infrared rays, thereby improving the health of the user.

To accomplish the above objects, according to the present invention, there is provided a leather belt including a band extending in the longitudinal direction and a buckle engaged with one end the band, the leather belt being adapted such that the leather belt is tightened by having the band put on around a waist of a user, the leather belt including: a panel-type heating element attached to the inside of the band; a cover sheet attached to the outside of the panel-type heating element for protecting the panel-type heating element; a case engaged with the outer surface of the band; and a control box received in the case, the control box having a battery built therein and provided with an operation button, wherein the panel-type heating element is connected to the control box by means of an electric wire so as to generate heat.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Reference will now be made in detail to the preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the attached drawings.

As shown in FIGS. 1 through 9, a buckle 20 is engaged to one end of a band 10 extending in one directing, so that the band can be tightened by means of the buckle 20 after it is put on around the waist of the user.

Naturally, the leather belt 1 as constructed above is made based on a well-known technical spirit. However, the most important feature of the present invention resides in that the panel-type heating element 30 is attached to the inside of the band 10 to thereby warm the abdominal portion of the user of the leather belt 1.

In other words, the panel-type heating element 30 is attached to the inside of the band 10 positioned to face with the buckle 20, and a cover sheet 34 is attached to the outside of the panel-type heating element 30 so that it is secured by an adhesive or by means of sewing.

The panel-type heating element is made of a thin plate type film which is fabricated by printing heating pigments (carbon black) on a heat resistant film such as PET, PEN, and is widely used, so that detailed description thereof is omitted.

The band 10 is provided with a case 50, a hanging band 52 provided at the rear of the case 50 is inserted into the band 10 to thereby be engaged with each other detachably, and a cover 51 is provided above the case 50, so that it is closed after articles are received therein.

A control box 40 is built in the case 50, a battery is built in the control box 40, and an operation button 41 and a display portion 42 are provided at one side of the control box 40, so that the turning on/off, and the temperature control of the panel-type heating element 30, and the like can be performed.

The panel-type heating element 30 is constructed to be connected with the control box 40 by means of an electric wire 45 and a plug 43 so that it can produce heat.

With regard to the present invention as described above, the leather belt 1 is put on around the waist of the user so that the panel-type heating element 30 is positioned at the abdominal portion of the user, and the button of the control box is operated to turn on the leather belt and set the temperature to a desired temperature to thereby supply the electric power to the panel-type heating element 30 so that it can produce heat. Accordingly, the abdominal portion of the user is maintained to be warm to thereby previously prevent or cure the menstrual pains and the abdominal pains. Also, it is advantageous that the thermo-therapy can be performed while the user is out or at home as the panel-type heating element 30 is attached in the leather belt 1.

Meanwhile, the leather belt can be used with the construction that the material radiating the negative ions and the far-infrared rays is contained in the cover sheet 34 for protecting the panel-type heating element 30.

With regard to the material 35 for radiating the negative ions and the far-infrared rays, it is constructed of mixtures fabricated by finely pulverizing minerals such as kaolin, zeolite, plagioclase, chlorite, tourmaline, and the like, filtering them with a sieve having a grain size of 400 to 500 mesh to thereby produce fine powder, and mixing the obtained materials at uniform weight. Thus, it is fabricated by spraying dough material obtained by mixing 84 to 88 wt. % of a mixture of the material radiating the negative ions and the far-infrared rays of with 12 to 16 wt. % of a liquefied adhesive uniformly on the cover sheet 34 and drying it.

A polysol having a strong adhesive force is used as the adhesive, but a starch may be used, if necessary. A mixture of 78 to 82 wt. % of polysol, 10˜14 wt. % of pitch powder, and 7 to 9 wt. % of citric acid may be used as the adhesive.

The polysol is an adhesive related to the adhesion of the paper and has a property of being well mixed with the starch, and can be made solely by an EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) or by a copolymer product with an Acryl-EVA. It acts to prevent the reduction of the adhesion force of the starch due to the mineral powder mixed with the starch to thereby increase the entire adhesion strength.

Meanwhile, the characteristic property of the minerals used in the manufacturing method of the present invention is as follows.

Kaolin is a mud produced from the decomposition of a rock or a stone by means of chemical reaction between materials such as water, carbonic acid, and the like, principal compositions of which are kaolinite (Al2O3, 2SiO2, 2H2O), and haloisite (Al2O3, SiO2, 4H2O).

The kaolin is used as a raw material for a pottery, and is called a white soil, and is known to radiate a large quantity of far-infrared rays at the natural state.

Zeolite is a general term of the mineral of aluminum silicate hydrate of alkali and alkaline earth. It is produced from a crevice or a cavity of the basic igneous rocks such as basalt, peperino, and the like, and often exists as secondary mineral in the granite and the gneiss. It can absorb other particulates, because the bonding of respective atom is loose in respective of the crystal structure, so that the frame is maintained if the water component filled in the gap between the atoms were emitted by means of high temperature. Thus, it can be used as an absorbent and is known to radiate a large quantity of far-infrared rays.

Plagioclase is a soda lime feldspar pertaining to a triclinic system, and it is largely found in the metamorphic rocks. Also, it constitutes various types of twin crystal, and the plagioclase made of several compositions represents the structure of laminated bands. The plagioclase is known to radiate a large quantity of negative ions and far-infrared rays at the natural state.

Chlorite is a mineral pertaining to a monoclinic system, principal composition of which is a hydrated silicate (Mg, Fe, Al)12(Si, Al)8O20(OH)16 of aluminum, iron, and magnesium.

The chlorite is largely found in several kinds of sedimentary rock, low temperature metamorphic rock, hydrothermal igneous rocks, and the like, and it is made by degeneration of the ferromagnesian mineral such as mica, amphibole, and pyroxene, and has properties of absorbing and removing the toxicity of the residual agricultural chemicals and stimulative odors by the property of radiating the negative ions and absorbing and decomposing the toxic materials at the natural state.

Tourmaline is a mineral pertaining to a hexagonal system, principally made of complicated borosilicates composed of aluminum, iron, magnesium, and alkaline metals, and generates electricity by means of friction, and electrifies both ends to be negative and positive poles by the heating.

The tourmaline is known to have functions of neutralization of the toxicity, deodorization, and the like by radiating the negative ions and the far-infrared rays at the natural state too.

Therefore, the blood circulation is facilitated by the effect of radiating the negative ions and the far-infrared rays from the material 35 for radiating the negative ions and the far-infrared rays, which is composed of mineral components such as kaolin, zeolite, plagioclase, chlorite, and tourmaline, and the like sprayed on the cover sheet 34 to thereby improve the health of the user of the leather belt 1, in addition to the advantages of obtaining the effect of deodorization for absorbing and removing the odor, the effect of removing the moisture for absorbing the sweat and the effect of sterilization, and the like.

Further, when the material 35 for radiating the negative ions and the far-infrared rays, which is a mineral component, is heated with being face-contacted with the panel-type heating element 30, the effect of radiating the negative ions and the far-infrared rays is maximized so that the negative ions and the far-infrared rays are permeated deep into the skin of the user to thereby facilitate the blood circulation, resulting in the great improvement of the health of the user of the leather belt 1.

Meanwhile, the buckle 20 can be variously constructed. For instance, as shown in FIG. 4, the buckle 20 can be constructed that the band 10 is wound around the ring 21 secured to one side of the rear surface thereof, and is secured by means of a clip 22, the distal end of the band 10 is entered through a guide groove 23 formed at the other side of the rear surface thereof, a cylindrical rotation tube 24 engaged with the rear surface of the buckle 20 by means of a hinge 24a is elastically supported by a spring 27 secured in the tube, and a stopper 26 secured to the rotation tube 24 makes the distal end of the band 10 passing through the rotation tube 24 and the buckle 20 to be secured and passed when a lever 25 of the rotation tube 24 is operated. In this regard, the buckle 20 is characterized in that, it can be used in a structure that the distal end of the band 10 passes through the guide groove 23 formed at the rear surface of the buckle 20 and the stopper 26 of the rotation tube 24, and then enters into the rear surface of the band 10 to thereby be close contacted with the abdominal portion of the user, and the panel-type heating element 30 is attached to the distal end of the band 10 contacting with the abdominal portion of the user.

As described above, the panel-type heating element 30 having a size of about 30 cm is attached to the distal end of the band 10 which is in close contact with the abdominal portion.

In other words, as shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9, the panel-type heating element 30 is constructed that it is made by sewing a heating wire 31 as a warp with a cotton yarn 32 as a weft, a conductive wire 33 is sewn as a weft to thereby make the heating wire 31, which is a warp, to be electrical contacts, both conductive wires 33 are respectively connected to terminals of a jack 44, a plug 43 connected to the control box 40 is engaged with a joint hole 44a to thereby apply electric power to the conductive wires 33 to make the heating wire 31 to produce heat, and the jack 44 is constructed to pass through the band 10 to project to the front surface.

Accordingly, when the plug 43 connected to the control box 40 is inserted into the engagement hole 44a of the jack 44 projected to the front of the band 10, the panel-type heating element 30 can be very easily connected to the control box 40, so that the heating wire 31 produces heat, when the electric power is turned on by operating the button of the control box 40 and the temperature is set to a desired level, to thereby supply the electric power of the battery to the conductive wire 33.

The reference numeral “60” in the drawing, which is not explained, represents a charger for charging the battery built in the control box 40.

As described above, according to the leather belt of the present invention, since the leather belt 1 is put on so that the panel-type heating element 30 is positioned at the abdominal portion of the user, and the button of the control box is operated to turn on the leather belt with the temperature being set to a desired temperature, so that the electric power is supplied to the panel-type heating element 30 to produce heat, the abdominal portion of the user is maintained to be warm to thereby prevent or treat the menstrual pains and the abdominal pains previously. Also, it is advantageous that the thermo-therapy can be performed irrespective of the place of use while the user is out or at home as the panel-type heating element 30 is attached to the leather belt 1. Further, when the material 35 for radiating the negative ions and the far-infrared rays, which is a mineral component, is heated by the panel-type heating element 30, the effect of radiating the negative ions and the far-infrared rays is maximized so that the negative ions and the far-infrared rays are permeated deep into the skin of the user to thereby facilitate the blood circulation, resulting in the great improvement of the health of the user of the leather belt 1.

While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular preferred embodiments, it is not restricted by the embodiments but only restricted by the appended claims. Also, it is to be understood that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention, and such modifications are wholly pertained to the scope of the appending claims.
