Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the invention

The present invention relates to an improvement on a shoe, more particularly one, which includes an outer shoe body, and a disposable lining detachably fastened to the outer shoe body and intended to be used by single person; thus, the shoe is economical, convenient and hygienic to use, and environment friendly.

2. Brief Description of the Prior Art

Indoor slippers and bathroom slippers are available to customers in hotel rooms, which provide much convenience. In order to be hygienic, many hotels provide disposable indoor slippers to their customers.

Referring to FIGS. 8 and 9, a currently existing disposable indoor slipper 3 includes a sole 31, and a vamp 32. The sole 31 includes a lower plastic layer 313, a foam layer 311 over the plastic layer 313, and a cotton cloth layer 312 over the foam layer 311; thus, the slipper 3 is comfortable and durable. The plastic layer 313, the foam layer 311, and the cotton cloth layer 312 are sewn together by means of a sewing machine. Next, the vamp 32 is securely joined to the sole 31 by means of sewing.

Although different customers won't wear the same slippers, such a disposable indoor slipper has the following disadvantages:

1. The manufacturing process is relatively complicated because the plastic layer, the foam layer, and the cotton cloth layer are sewn together to form the sole, and the vamp is sewn on the sole. Consequently, it takes much time and labor to manufacture the slipper, and the manufacturing cost is relatively high.

2. The sole of the slipper includes three layers made of different materials, which are joined together by means of sewing, therefore the manufacturing cost is high, reducing competitiveness of the product.

3. The disposable indoor slipper includes a foam layer, which can't be recycled, therefore it will impose burden on the environment when discarded.

4. The plastic layer on the bottom of the sole is water-resistant, but it isn't slip-preventive, therefore the slipper can't be worn in bathrooms, and the user has to prepare a pair of slip-preventive slippers for use in the bathroom instead. Consequently, such a disposable indoor slipper is inconvenient to use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, a first preferred embodiment of a shoe of the present invention includes an outer shoe body 1, and a shoe lining 2.

The outer shoe body 1 is water-resistant and slip-preventive, and can be heated for killing bacteria therein and thereon. The outer shoe body 1 includes a vamp 11, a sole 13; the vamp 11 has several fastening parts 12 on an outer side thereof, which can be Velcro strips. The shoe lining 2 is disposable, intended to be used by single person, and includes a face part 21, and a base 22 stuck to the face part 21, having substantially the same shape as the outer shoe body 1. The shoe lining 2 is made of such a material that it can be secured on the strip-shaped Velcro fastening parts 12 of the outer shoe body 1 when pressed against the Velcro fastening parts 12; for example, the shoe lining 2 can be made of non-woven fabrics or decomposeable paper materials. That end of the face part 21 of the shoe lining 2 that is near to the entrance of the shoe is formed with a gap 23 at a middle portion thereof; thus, the shoe lining 2 has attaching and detaching portions 24 on two sides of the gap 23. In assembly, the shoe lining 2 is inserted between the vamp 11 and the sole 13 of the outer shoe body 1 at a front end portion thereof such that the face part 21 of the shoe lining 2 is right under and close to the lower side of the vamp 11. Next, the attaching and detaching portions 24 are folded, pressed against and fastened to the Velcro fastening parts 12 on the vamp 11; thus, the shoe lining 2 is effectively secured to the outer shoe body 1 for contacting a person's foot.

Therefore, after the shoe lining 2 is used, people are allowed to separate the face part 21 from the Velcro fastening parts 12, draw the shoe lining 2 out of the outer shoe body 1, and provide the shoe with a new shoe lining 2; thus, the shoe can be worn by another person.

Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, a second preferred embodiment of the present invention includes an outer shoe body 1, and a shoe lining 2.

The outer shoe body 1 is water-resistant and slip-preventive, and can be heated for killing bacteria therein and thereon. The outer shoe body 1 includes a vamp 11, a sole 13; the vamp 11 has fastening parts 12 on an outer side thereof, which can be Velcro strips; the sole 13 also has several fastening parts 14 on an upper side thereof, which can be Velcro strips. The shoe lining 2 is disposable, and includes a face part 21, and a base 22 stuck to the face part 21, having substantially the same shape as the outer shoe body 1. The shoe lining 2 is made of such a material that it can be secured on the Velcro fastening parts 12 of the outer shoe body 1 when pressed against them; for example, the shoe lining 2 can be made of non-woven fabrics or decomposeable paper materials. That end of the face part 21 of the shoe lining 2 that is near to the entrance of the shoe is formed with a gap 23 at a middle portion thereof such that the shoe lining 2 has attaching and detaching portions 24 on two sides of the gap 23. In assembly, the shoe lining 2 is inserted between the vamp 11 and the sole 13 of the outer shoe body 1 at a front end portion such that the face part 21 of the shoe lining 2 is right under and close to the lower side of the vamp 11, and the base 22 of the shoe lining 2 is on the upper side of the sole 13 of the outer shoe body l. Next, the base 22 of the shoe lining 2 is fastened to the Velcro fastening parts 14 of the sole 13, and the attaching and detaching portions 24 of the face part 21 are folded, pressed against and fastened to the Velcro fastening parts 12 on the vamp 11; thus, the shoe lining 2 is secured to the outer shoe body 1 for contacting a person's foot.

Therefore, after the shoe lining 2 is used, people are allowed to separate the face part 21 and the base 22 from the Velcro fastening parts 12 and 14, draw the shoe lining 2 out of the outer shoe body 1, and provide the outer shoe body 1 with a new shoe lining 2; thus, the shoe can be worn by another person.

Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, a third preferred embodiment of the present invention includes an outer shoe body 1, and a shoe lining 2.

The outer shoe body 1 is water-resistant and slip-preventive, and can be heated for killing bacteria. The outer shoe body 1 includes a vamp 11, a sole 13; the vamp 11 has fastening parts 15 on an inner side thereof, which can be Velcro strips; the sole 13 also has several fastening parts 14 on an upper side thereof, which can be Velcro strips. The shoe lining 2 is disposable, and includes a face part 21, and a base 22 stuck to the face part 21, having substantially the same shape as the outer shoe body 1. The shoe lining 2 is made of such a material that it can be secured on the Velcro fastening parts 15 and 14 of the outer shoe body 1 when pressed against them; for example, the shoe lining 2 can be made of non-woven fabrics or decomposeable paper materials. In assembly, the shoe lining 2 is inserted between the vamp 11 and the sole 13 of the outer shoe body 1 at a front end portion, and the base 22 and the face part 21 of the shoe lining 2 are fastened to the Velcro fastening parts 14 and 15 of the outer shoe body 1 respectively; thus, the shoe lining 2 is secured to the outer shoe body 1 for contacting a person's foot.

Therefore, after the shoe lining 2 is used, people are allowed to separate the face part 21 and the base 22 from the Velcro fastening parts 14 and 15, draw the shoe lining 2 out of the outer shoe body 1, and join a new shoe lining 2 to the outer shoe body 1; thus, the shoe can be worn by another person.

Furthermore, the shoe lining 2 can be made of such materials that it can be washed repeatedly, e.g. cloth, and wool; thus, the shoe also can be used as an indoor slipper at home, and the user is allowed to change from one kind of lining material to another according to his/her need.

From the above description, it can be easily seen that the present invention has the following advantages over the conventional slipper:

1. The shoe of the present invention is convenient to use because it is easy to replace the used shoe lining with a new one.

2. The wearer's foot won't contact the attaching and detaching portion of the shoe lining because the attaching and detaching portion is folded upwards, and secured on an outer side of the vamp of the outer shoe body. Consequently, when a person is replacing the used shoe lining with a new one, his hands don't have to touch those portions of the original shoe lining that have been contacted by the former wearer's foot, and it is hygienic.

3. The present invention is environment friendly because the frequently replaced shoe lining is made of recyclable non-woven fabrics or decomposeable paper materials instead of non-recyclable foam materials. Consequently, when the used shoe lining is replaced with a new one, it won't increase burden on the environment.

4. The present invention is hygienic to use because the shoe lining is disposable, intended to be used by single person, and the outer shoe body can be heated to kill bacteria.

5. It is safe to wear the shoe because the outer shoe body is slip-preventive.

6. The shoe of the present invention is more comfortable than the currently existing disposable shoe, which is provided with only a foam material on the sole to reduce the cost, because the outer shoe body of the present invention is intended for use for a long time instead, and has the disposable lining.

7. The present invention has a relatively simple structure, and is economical and convenient to use, and suitable for use in many different places.

8. The disposable shoe lining is made of recyclable non-woven fabrics or decomposeable paper materials, and fastened to the outer shoe body only by means of Velcro strips therefore the manufacturing cost is relatively low, and it will save hotels money to use the present invention.

9. The shoe lining also can be made of cloth or wool, which can be washed and endure washing; thus, the shoe can be used as an indoor slipper at home, and the user is allowed to change from one kind of lining material to another according to his/her need.
