Abstract

The invention offers both cost effective and a novelty design apart from the other baby changing pads. The interchangeable cover is used for many standard 16″W×32″L vinyl baby changing pads such as the vinyl contour baby changing pad and the vinyl dressing table changing pad. The fabric is soft and offers an imprinted measuring tape left of center for measuring the baby's growth at a glance in inch increments.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The invention is a Measure Me Baby Changing Pad Cover that is used to cover a standard 16″W×32″L vinyl baby changing pad that is used when changing a baby's diaper or clothing, it also includes the special feature of measuring the baby's growth at a glance. In my research, most baby changing pad covers are mainly made for individual types of pads either a contour changing pad or a dressing table pad. Also, they do not offer the special feature of the ability to measure the baby's growth at a glance.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 describes the Top View of the Polyester/Cotton blend Fabric that covers the Standard 16″W×32″L vinyl changing pad used when changing a baby's clothes or diapers. The top view also shows the 30″ L imprinted measuring tape in inch increments on top of the soft fabric of the Measure Me Baby Changing Pad Cover. The drawn lines around the perimeter reflects the way the fabric folds under.

FIG. 2 describes the Bottom View of the Baby Changing Pad Cover. The Center reflects the folds of the 6″ deep pocket corners that will accommodate the standard 16″W×32″L contour vinyl baby changing pad. As shown the deep pockets fold toward the center of the cover leaving a small opening which will enlarge due to the elastic band that holds the material gathered together. The drawn lines around the perimeter reflects the way the fabric folds over. The drawn lines in the center reflects the fabric held together by elastic.

The invention is entitled Measure me Baby Changing Pad Cover. It has the ability to measure a baby's growth at a glance using a measuring tape in inches imprinted directly on the fabric. From a mothers view it is exciting to measure a newborn baby's growth every opportunity. The improved product also offers the interchangeable aspect. Baby changing pad covers are usually used for individual types of changing pads. The Measure Me Baby Changing Pad can be used for the standard 16″W×32″L vinyl baby changing pad. The pad cover features deep fitting pocket corners that will also accommodate a contour shaped baby changing pad. The fabric is a compilation of a polyester/cotton blend to make the pad cover extra soft and stain resistant. 2- A dark unisex pastel colored imprinted tape measuring 30″ L left of center of the Measure Me baby Changing Pad Cover, the tape measure enables the ability to monitor the baby's growth at a glance.

These features offer improvement and convenience apart from the existing baby changing pad covers on the market.
