BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

There are myriads of trousers on the market today. Their use ranges from medical, to comfort, to active-sport, to dress, and beyond. The focus of this invention is functional, attractive trousers.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This present invention pertains to a functional, attractive garment. The preferred embodiment for the Iddo garment is a pair of loose-fitting pants, having a long dropped-crouch length that aids in preventing/reducing inner thigh chaffing (attributable to trouser wear). The inseam length of the preferred embodiment for the garment is about one-half that of conventional inseam length (but is variable, depending on preference). The garment is styled to be an attractive, contemporary and comfortable fashion statement. The new “dropped-crouch length” of the garment is especially alluring for the “young and crazed” crowd, while the “waist-fit” (no crack/no mooning feature) is desperately desired and much appreciated by the rest of humanity.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The drawings illustrate examples of embodiments for the present invention:

FIG. 1A is a front view of a plain Iddo garment (with straight legs) that is loose-fitting, with a long dropped-crouch length that permits the crouch of the pants to drop to about knee level and results in a diminutive inseam length (of about one-half that of conventional inseam length).

FIG. 1B is a front view of a plain pair of conventional straight-leg pants, having a typical inseam length.

FIG. 2 is a back view of a wide-legged Iddo garment.

FIG. 3 is a side view of an Iddo garment.

FIG. 4A is a front view of an Iddo garment with bell-bottoms.

FIG. 4B is a front view of an Iddo garment with decorative pin-tucks.

FIG. 4C is a front view of an Iddo garment with decorative pockets.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The preferred embodiment for the Iddo garment is a pair of loose-fitting, spaciously-constructed trousers designed to fit at about waist-level. The garment has a long dropped-crouch length (the length of garment from the waist to the crouch) that: a) permits the crouch of the pants to drop down to about knee level, b) aids in preventing/reducing inner thigh chaffing attributable to trouser wear and c) results in a diminutive inseam length that is about one-half that of conventional inseam length (but is variable, depending on preference).

The garment may be constructed of any durable fabric of choice for normal day-to-day wear or may be constructed of any material of choice for temporary wear/disposable purposes. Zippers, Velcro, buttons, clasps, etc. of choice may be utilized for closure, as applicable. Elastic, waistbands, belt-loops, etc. of choice may be utilized for keeping the garment at about waist-level. The Iddo garment is functional, comfortable and attractive.
