Cap with a printed band

A baseball-style cap having a crown portion made of multiple panels, a visor part which is attached to the front part of the crown portion and a headband attached to and extending around the lower inside edge of the crown portion. At least one of said multiple of panels is made of mesh material so that inside can be seen, and emblem like numbers, figures and others that user wants are printed or embroidered on outside of the said headband, and the said panel that made of mesh material and the emblems of the said headband are overlapped each other so that the emblems of headband can be seen between the panels made of mesh material, which provides an unique decorative effect.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention is related to the field of a baseball-style cap with a printed band whose quality has been improved more by emphasizing the unique decoration as emblems like characters, numbers, figures are marked on headband of a cap, and the panel, which is made of mesh material, and is one of the panels comprising the crown portion, the main body of a cap, is overlapped.

2. Description of the Related Art

A baseball style cap generally includes a crown main body, which is main portion of cap and is made of one or more of panels, a visor portion that is secured to the forward edge of the crown and extends outwardly therefrom, a headband attached to the lower part of the inside of the crown.

A cap is being worn to protect our faces from sun light on leisure activity or exercise as well as to create fashion in our daily lives.

In the trend for cap, many caps featuring various types of decoration on crown and visor have been developed. For example, in the U.S. Pat. No. 5,136,726 of Elizabeth Kellin, an inventor, for featuring these decorative effect on crown portion and visor, the cap has the detachable decorative elements to have a multiplicity of hook elements adapted to engage the loop elements of the stretchable material.

For another example, in U.S. Pat. No. 5,983,400 of Robert A. Kronenberger, an inventor, for having the decorative effect, the cap has emblem or logo to be connected from crown to visor portion, and users can express the emblem or logo like characters, numbers, and figures using these various kinds of decorative effect.

However, to satisfy the desire of users, who consider headwear as a part of passion, much more changes have been needed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the foregoing, the main object of the present invention, to satisfy various desires of users, is to provide a cap to improve the decorative effect more by making headband portion, comprising a portion of a cap, that emblems like numbers, characters and figures are marked on, and panels of crown portion made of mesh material may look overlapped.

In accordance with this object, the present invention is directed to a cap having a crown portion which is main portion of a cap and is made of multiple panels, a visor part which is attached to the front part of the said crown portion and headband to and extending around the lower inside edge of the said crown portion.

The cap has the feature that one or more of panels among the panels comprising the said crown portion are made of mesh materials and has the other feature that on the said headband portion emblems or logo like numbers, characters and figures are marked according to the need of user. As the methods of expressing the said emblems or logo, print or embroidery including other possible methods can be used. The cap having the unique feature of decorative effect can be created by overlapping one or more panels of the said crown portion made of mesh materials and outside of headband that emblems or logo like numbers, characters and figures are marked on.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

In describing a preferred embodiment of the invention illustrated in the drawings, although only one preferred embodiment of the invention is explained in detail, it is to be understood that the embodiment is given by way of illustration only. It is not intended that the invention be limited in its scope to the details of construction and arrangement of components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. Also, in describing the preferred embodiments, specific terminology will be resorted to for the sake of clarity. It is to be understood that each specific term includes all technical equivalents which operate in a similar manner to accomplish a similar purpose.

In accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the present invention is directed to a cap having a printed band as shown in FIG. 1.

As illustrated in the FIGS. 1 and 2, the cap includes a plurality of panels forming a crown main body, generally designated by the reference numeral 1, a visor portion 2 that is secured to the forward edge of the crown 1, and a headband 3 that is secured to the lower peripheral edge of the interior of the crown 1. The said crown portion 1 consists of the panels made of usual fabric and the other panel 4, made of mesh material, which includes at least one or more of panels among panels comprising crown portion 1 of the cap according to the present invention. On outside of the said headband 3, the characters that users want are printed, and logo or emblem like numbers, figures and so on can also be marked as much as user want, and for the methods of expressing the said numbers, characters and figures, print or embroidery including other possible methods can be used.

The panel that made of mesh material on the said crown portion is overlapped with the headband that the said characters are printed so that the printed characters on the headband portion are seen between the panels made of mesh material, which improve the quality of cap more as it has an unique decorative effect.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the main distinguishing portion according to the present invention is the overlapped portion of panel made of mesh material of the said crown portion 1 and headband portion 3 that emblems are printed on according to the user's need, which structurally consists of the panel portion 4 made of mesh material, the emblem portion 5 printed on headband and general fabric portion 6. The said printed emblems 5 are only in outside fabric portion of headband, not in inside.

Claims

1. A baseball-style cap comprising:

a crown main body having a plurality of panels;
a visor portion secured to a forward portion of a peripheral edge of said crown main body and extending outwardly therefrom;
a headband attached along said lower peripheral edge of said crown main body, At least one of said plurality of panels of said crown is made of mesh material so that inside can be seen, and emblem like numbers, figures and so on that user wants are printed on outside of the said headband, and the said panel, made of mesh material, is overlapped with the emblems, which is represented on outside of the said headband so that the emblems outside of the said headband can be seen between the panels made of mesh material.

2. The cap as set forth in claim 1, wherein said emblems outside of the said headband are represented by print.

3. The cap as set forth in claim 1, wherein said emblems outside of the said headband are represented by embroidery.

4. A headwear comprising:

a crown main body having a plurality of panels;
a brim portion secured to a forward portion of a peripheral edge of said crown main body and extending outwardly therefrom;
a headband attached along said lower peripheral edge of said crown main body, At least one of said plurality of panels of said crown is made of mesh material so that inside can be seen, and emblem like numbers, figures and so on that user wants are printed on outside of the said headband, and the said panel, made of mesh material, is overlapped with the emblems, which is represented on outside of the said headband so that the emblems outside of the said headband can be seen between the panels made of mesh material.

5. The cap as set forth in claim 4, wherein said emblems outside of the said headband are represented by print.

6. The cap as set forth in claim 4, wherein said emblems outside of the said headband are represented by embroidery.
