DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the shower assembly of the present invention comprises a case 10 which is composed of two parts and each is a plastic case made by way of blowing molding. The two parts are pivotably connected with each other so that the two parts can be overlapped with each other to form a rectangular case 10. Each part of the case 10 includes an inner layer 11 and a hard outer layer 12, a space 13 is defined between the inner layer 11 and the outer layer 12. The inner layer 11 includes a plurality of concavities for receiving the parts of the shower assembly when not in use, and a plurality of holes 16 are defined through the inner layer 11 and each hole 16 has a seal 17 engaged therewith. Water or sands can be filled in the space 13 via the holes 16 to form a heavy base for the shower assembly.

A main pipe unit 50 includes a plurality of pipes 51 and each pipe 51 has two connection collars 52 on two ends thereof. The connection collars 52 each can be a male connector and a female connector which is connected with a male connection collar. A connector 30 is connected to an end of the main pipe unit 50 and a connection portion 35 is located on a top of the connector 30 so as to be connected with a shower head 40 or a sprinkler 20. The other end of the main pipe unit 50 connected to the case 10.

The connector 30 includes a pipe connection port 31 and a hose connection port 33. The pipe 51 can be extended through the pipe connection port 31 and a locking member 32 is located above the pipe connection port 31 to secure the connector 30 to the pipe 51. A hose (not shown) is connected with the hose connection port 33 so as to introduce water to the shower head 40 or the sprinkler 20. A control knob 34 is connected to the connector 30 so as to control water volume entering the shower head 40 or the sprinkler 20.

The shower head 40 includes a body 41 and a plurality of outlets 42 connected to the body 41 and communicate with passages (not shown) in the body 41. The outlets 42 are connected to locking rings 43 which are connected to outlet pipes 60. The outlet pipes 60 each have an inner pipe 61 and an outer pipe 62 which is rotatably mounted on the inner pipe 61. The locking rings 43 each have threads 430 and the inner pipe 61 is a hollow pipe and includes an enlarged end which has a connection end 610 with inner threads which are engaged with the threads 430 of the locking ring 43. A sleeve 64, a seal 66 and an O-ring 65 are located between the inner pipe 61 and the locking ring 43. A plurality of seals 67 are located between the inner pipe 61 and the outer pipe 62 to provide proper seal feature. An end cap 63 has a large head and a small shank which is inserted into the inner pipe 61 to seal the end of the inner tube 61 and an end of the outer pipe 62 is engaged with the large head.

As shown in FIG. 3, the inner pipe 61 has a longitudinal passage 611 so that water flows in the passage 611 via the outlet 42 corresponding thereto. A slot 612 is defined longitudinally in the inner pipe 61 and a C-shaped longitudinal seal 613 is located in the inner pipe 61 and the slot 612 communicating with an opening of the C-shaped longitudinal seal 613. The outer pipe 62 has a plurality of orifices 620 defined therethrough and the orifices 620 of the outer pipe 62 have different shapes and sizes which include different diameters. By this arrangement, water goes out from the orifices 620 via the slot 612. A dent 621 is defined in an end of the outer pipe 62. The inner pipe 61 has multiple bosses 614 and one of the bosses 614 is engaged with the dent 621 so that the user can rotate the outer tube 62 to align the orifices 620 with the slot 612 to obtain different types of sprinkling feature.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, two positioning boards 53 are engaged with recessed areas on two sides of the handle 14 of the case 10 and one of the positioning boards 53 has a plurality of apertures 530 and the other positioning board 53 has a threaded member 531 which extends through one of the apertures 530 so as to be connected with a connection collar 52 of one of the pipes 51. The space 13 in the case 10 is filled with water or sands so that the case 10 is heavy to support the main pipe unity 50 and the shower head 40 or the sprinkler 20 as shown in FIG. 5.

The shower assembly of the present invention is easily to carry and can be assembled quickly. The case 10 accommodate all the parts of the assembly and can be used as a heavy base for the assembly so that the user can take a shower while the shower head 40 is located at a certain height which meets requirement for most of the users. The assembly can also be used as garden sprinkling.

While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
