Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates generally to a shoe, and more particularly to a structure of upper and insole of the shoe.

2. Description of the Related Art

Conventional shoes have waterproof function, especially for some specific functional shoes, such as jogging shoes. People usually jog in the morning, and jogger may steps on the grass with dew thereon and wet the jogging shoes. To keep jogger's feet dry, the shoes usually is provided with a waterproof film. The waterproof film makes the shoes having waterproof capacity, and it introduces a new problem.

The waterproof films bar water out of the shoes and keep moisture in the shoes. In other words, such shoes don't ventilate. Joggers wearing such shoes will feel wet, stuffy and hot, especially when jogger sweats and increases body heat in running. In such condition, jogger needs shoes with greater power of ventilation to reduce the uncomfortable feeling.

In addition, the conventional shoe usually has the upper sewed into the insole directly. Such shoes will make people stepping on two different parts and the sewing portion that make people uncomfortable, especially on the heel. It also may break the thread of sewing when a person wears the shoes for a long time.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a shoe with both functions of waterproof and ventilation.

According to the objectives of the present invention, a shoe with both functions of waterproof and ventilation includes an upper fabric including a ventilation film, on which a plurality of apertures are provided, a bottom fabric sewed on the upper fabric directly and an insole attached on the bottom side of the bottom fabric. The bottom fabric has two protrusion pieces on opposite edges, and the upper fabric has two portions associated with the protrusion pieces bent inwards to be attached on a margin of a bottom side of the bottom fabric and sewed thereon, such that the protrusion pieces are left at an inner side of the upper fabric.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a preferred embodiment of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a sketch diagram of the preferred embodiment of the present invention, showing the connection of upper and insole;

FIG. 3 is a sectional view along 3-3 line of FIG. 2; and

FIG. 4 is a sketch diagram of the preferred embodiment of the present invention, showing another connection of upper and insole.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, a shoe of the preferred embodiment of the present invention includes:

An upper fabric 10 includes a ventilation film 11, on which a plurality of apertures 12 are provided for ventilation, and two fabrics 13 sandwiching the ventilation film 11. The upper fabric 10 has both function of waterproof and ventilation because of the apertures 12 of the ventilation film 11. The fabrics 13 may be made of cotton, nylon or polymer.

A bottom fabric 20, which is an elongated member, has two protrusion pieces 21 on opposite edges. The protrusion pieces 21 may be located at a middle of the bottom fabric 20, as shown in FIG. 2, or a rear thereof, as shown in FIG. 4. The widths and lengths of the protrusion pieces 21 are adjustable to meet the requirement. The upper fabric 10 has its bottom edge sewed on a margin of the bottom fabric 20 directly. The upper fabric 10 has portions associated with the protrusion pieces 21 bent inwards to be attached on a margin of a bottom side of the bottom fabric 20 and sewed thereon, such that the protrusion pieces 21 are left at an inner side of the upper fabric 10, as shown in FIG. 3. The bottom fabric 20 may be made of cotton, nylon or polymer.

An insole 30 is attached on the bottom side of the bottom fabric 20 by an adhesive. The adhesive has ventilation property but waterproof property.

The shoe of the present invention has both functions of waterproof and ventilation because of the ventilation film 11. The ventilation film 11 provides the waterproof function and the apertures 12 on the ventilation film 11 provide the ventilation function that overcomes the problem described in the background of the invention.

In addition, the upper fabric 10 has the portions associated with the protrusion pieces 21 bent inwards to be attached on a margin of a bottom side of the bottom fabric 20 and sewed thereon, such that the protrusion pieces 21 are left at an inner side of the upper fabric 10 rather than sewing together directly. This kind of structure may let a person who wears the shoes of the present invention has feet stepping on the bottom fabric 20 to prevent thread sewing the upper fabric 10 and the bottom fabric 20 from break and to elongate the product life.

The description above is a preferred embodiment of the present invention and the equivalence of the present invention is still in the scope of the claim of the present invention.
