Toilet seat handle

The Toilet Seat Handle is a round cylinder 6 inches long and ¾ inches in diameter with one end rounded off. The rounded end will be visible once the handle has been attached to the toilet seat. (see FIG. 3). The opposite end will have the inside portion of the cylinder flattened so that it will apply to the underside of the toilet seat. The flattened area of the cylinder will measure 2½ inches. (see FIG. 2) The self sticking adhesive will hold the flattened part of the toilet seat handle to the underside of the toilet seat. The flattened area will fit snuggly against the outside edge of the toilet seat. The cylinder part will be sticking out on the side of the toilet creating an instant toilet seat handle.

Description

The TOILET SEAT HANDLE allows one to lift or lower the toilet seat without touching the toilet seat.

It is easily attached to the underside of the toilet seat on either the right or left side of the toilet seat.

The handle is round in shape and has sticky tape on the flattened part.

The sticky side is placed face up under the toilet seat and will instantly stick to the underside creating an instant usable handle.

The dimensions shown in this package will accommodate most toilet seats in homes and businesses now.

Refinements to the dimensions can be altered to accommodate the slimmer toilet seats.

Variations of the handle can include different colors and styles to match the toilet seat and bathroom decor.

Total length 6 inches Handle part 3¾ inches Flat part 2¼ inches Diameter of handle ¾ inches Diameter of flat part ¼ inch FIGURE ONE

Figure one shows a side view drawing of the toilet seat handle. The larger part is round and is the handle part. The smaller portion has one side that is flat. That is the part where sticky tape is peeled off and placed on the underside of the toilet seat to create an instant toilet seat handle.

FIG. 2

Figure Two shows the view looking down on the handle. The handle is round and the shaded area shows where the handle would be flattened. The flattened area will be attached to the toilet seat.

The drawings are not to scale.

FIG. 3

Figure Three shows a drawing of the handle after it has been placed on the toilet seat. As described before the flat part of the handle is attached to the underside of the seat flush against the side of the seat. It can be placed on either the right or the left side of the seat.

Claims

1. What I claim as my invention is the TOILET SEAT HANDLE. This simple invention can be installed on any toilet seat and eliminates the necessity for touching the toilet seat when it is raised or lowered. Slight adjustments in dimensions will be made to fit the newer model toilet seats. The design drawings that are enclosed are for toilet seats that have a flat underside to the toilet seat. Newer, thinner plastic toilet seats that have a curvature will need a slight variation for the underside of the handle to attach to the seat.

The same materials that are used in making toilet seats can be used in the process in making the TOILET SEAT HANDLE.
A simple pour mold can be made for mass production.
Drawings are enclosed for the TOILET SEAT HANDLE.
