Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a sisal target block of dartboards and its fabrication process.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Target blocks of electronic dartboards currently available on the market are mostly made of plastics or artificial fibers; the scattered raw materials are bonded together by the addition of a colloid, and then put into a target-block-shaped container. The target block made in this way is poor in compactness and uniformity, and stability of a dart fixed on the dartboard; the addition of a great amount of the colloid, during the bonding process of the raw materials of the target blocks, not only increases costs, but also is disadvantageous to environmental protection; the target block in the target-block-shaped container may deform the container on all sides, which makes the next assembly process difficult to proceed, obstructing improving the product quality on one hand, and further increasing the production costs on the other hand.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a high-quality sisal target block of electronic dartboards.

The technical solutions for the above purpose are described below:

A sisal target block of dartboards, which is characterized in that long sisal raw material bound in a bundle is extrusion molded, and then cut into a sisal block of a predetermined shape, with which a preformed container is fully filled to form the target block;

the sisal blocks are bonded with the container at the contacting part with a colloid coated on the internal surfaces of the container;

the bound bundle means that the long sisal raw material is collected tightly together along the length direction of the sisal thread, with a tape wrapping around.

Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a simple and reliable fabrication process that can improve quality of the sisal target block.

The fabrication process for the sisal target block of dartboards includes the following steps:

(1) raw material forming: cut the sisal raw material bound in a bundle into the sisal block of a predetermined size;

(2) mold forming: extrusion mold the sisal block in a mold;

(3) coating container with colloid: coat the internal side and bottom surfaces of the prefabricated target-block-shaped container with the colloid;

(4) container forming: fully fill the container with the mold-formed sisal block by an external pushing force, and sufficiently bond the sisal block with the colloid coated on the internal surfaces of the container to prevent the block from falling off;

(5) trimming: trim the surface of the sisal block in the container to make it flat and tidy;

(6) surface treatment: color the trimmed surfaces of the sisal blocks respectively by distinguishing the target blocks with different scores.

The above fabrication process is characterized in that the raw material is formed by extrusion molding the arranged long sisal raw material into a long bundle of sisal bars with a hemp packing machine, wrapping the sisal bars with the tape, and then cutting the sisal bars into the sisal blocks of the predetermined size.

The colloid used in the container forming step is of a natural seasoning or a heat drying type.

Sisal is used as the raw material of the target block in the present invention; other hemp threads, etc., with characters similar to those of sisal, can also be chosen as the raw materials, and the fabrication process is basically the same.

It can be known from the above technical solutions that the present invention provides the high-quality sisal target block of dartboards and the fabrication process. The sisal target block is made of sisal mainly through such steps as raw material forming, mold forming, cutting, coating container with colloid, container forming, trimming and surface treatment. In this way, not only a mass production but also the simple fabrication process of the dartboard blocks can be realized, with quality of the dartboards improved.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

A further detailed description of the present invention is given below in accordance with the drawings and embodiments.

For the sake of elucidation, the marks in the drawings are briefly described as follows: Small sisal block 10, long sisal raw material 11, long bundle of sisal bars 12, sisal block 13; container 20, side wall 21, bottom 22; colloid 30; tape 40; hemp packing machine 50; mold 60.

Embodiment 1

To produce the sisal target block of dartboards, the long sisal raw material 11 is formed into the small sisal block 10 of a predetermined shape, which is then put into the preformed container 20 and bonded at the contacting part with the colloid 30 coated on the internal surfaces of the container to form the target block.

The long sisal raw material 11 is collected tightly together along the length direction of the sisal thread, with the tape 40 wrapping around.

Embodiment 2

FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 show the fabrication process of the present invention. The single sisal target block provided by the present invention is made mainly through such steps as raw material forming, mold forming, cutting, coating container with colloid, container forming, trimming and surface treatment. The specific process is explained below:

Raw material forming: As shown in FIG. 2, extrusion mold the arranged long sisal raw material 11 into a long bundle of the sisal bars 12 with the hemp packing machine 50, wrap the sisal bars 12 with the tape 40, and then cut the sisal bars 12 into the sisal block 10 of the predetermined size.

Mold forming: As shown in FIG. 3, prefabricate the mold 60 of a shape corresponding to that of the desired formed sisal target block, and put the sisal block 10 into the mold 60 to extrusion mold.

Coating container with colloid: Prefabricate the container 20 of a shape corresponding to that of the desired formed sisal target block, and coat the side wall 21 and the bottom 22 of the container 20 with the colloid 30; the thickness of the colloid 30 can be bigger, so that the colloid 30 coated on the bottom 22 of the container 20 can really penetrate into the sisal block 13.

Container forming: As shown in FIG. 4, use the mold 60 to push the formed sisal block 13 by an external force, making the container 20 fully filled with the sisal block 13, and sufficiently bond the sisal block 13 with the colloid 30 coated on the internal surfaces of the container 20 to prevent the block from falling off. If the colloid 30 is not used, the target block can also meet the lowest requirement, however with a lower durability.

In the present invention, the colloid 30 used in the container 20 for the container forming step is of a natural seasoning or a heat drying type.

Trimming: Trim the surface of the sisal target block formed from the sisal block 13 filled in the container 20 to make it flat and tidy.

Surface treatment: Color the trimmed surfaces of the sisal target blocks respectively by distinguishing the target blocks with different scores.

The single sisal target block fabricated through the above fabrication process, as shown in FIG. 5, is turned into a steel-needle electronic sisal dartboard by being assembled with other target parts and electronic components; a breakthrough has been made in the transition from a safe electronic dartboard to a steel-needle electronic dartboard. The target block provided by the present invention is made of common sisal through extrusion molding, and the produced sisal block is filled into the container and bonded with the colloid, making the target block product extremely compact; therefore, the quality is significantly improved. Besides, the process steps are simple, and the product possesses excellent texture. It is known from the above that the present invention not only effectively solves the defects existing in the traditional dartboards, but also has the described prominent advantages.
