Moistureproof container

A moistureproof container is made of high-density PE or PP plastic material, and has a hollow body defining an opening, and a lid covering the opening of the body. A first fixing portion is formed neighboring the opening. A second fixing portion is formed on the lid for locking the first fixing portion. A cavity is defined in the lid. A hollow first tank is fixed in the cavity and is made of PE or PP plastic material, drying material being stuffed in the first tank. Not only area near the opening but also large area in the moistureproof container prevents from moisture, and therefore articles are well reserved therein.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a moistureproof container, and particularly to a plastic moistureproof container which prevents from damp and reserves articles well.

2. Related Art

A plastic moistureproof container of prior art normally includes a body with an opening, and a lid sealing the body by means of mutual screwing locking or embedding locking. Mutual screwing is better than embedding locking in terms of sealing performance, but is operated uneasily. In addition, mutual screwing, which locks by meshing of threads, is simple in structure, while embedding locking is variable in structure. Accordingly, these two ways are of respective features.

However, these two ways discussed above cannot achieve hermetic sealing for practical purposes. In high humidity environment or climate, articles reserved in a container are likely deteriorated after long period. Sometimes a desiccant bag is disposed in a container for guarding against moisture. The desiccant bag is ordinarily laid at a bottom of the container, the articles in the container surrounding the desiccant bag. Consequently, the desiccant bag takes effect only for articles close around it. That is, area benefited from the desiccant bag is relatively small.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a moistureproof container which faithfully seals not only area about an opening thereof but also interior thereby reserving articles therein well.

In order to attain the foregoing object, the moistureproof container of the present invention includes a hollow body and a lid attached to the body. The body is made of high-density PE or PP plastic material, and defines an opening therein. A first fixing portion is formed neighboring the opening. A lid covers the opening of the body and has an inner surface. A cavity is defined in the lid. A second fixing portion is formed on the lid for locking the first fixing portion. A hollow first tank is fixed in the cavity and is made of PE or PP plastic material, drying material being stuffed in the first tank.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a moistureproof container according to the present invention, wherein a lid thereof is opened up.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the moistureproof container according to the present invention, wherein the lid thereof is closed.

FIG. 3 is an elevation view of FIG. 2.

FIG. 4 is a longitudinal section of the moistureproof container in FIG. 1.

FIG. 5 is a longitudinal section of the moistureproof container in FIG. 2.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

With reference to FIG. 1, a moistureproof container 1 in accordance with the present invention includes a body 2, a lid 3 and at least a first tank 4 fixed on the lid 3. The moistureproof container 1 is made of high-density PE or PP plastic material. The moistureproof container 1 is a moistureproof can in one embodiment. The body 2 is cylindrical and hollow, and an opening 20 is defined upwardly in the body 2. A first fixing portion is formed neighboring the opening 20. The first fixing portion includes a ring flange 21 extruding from an outward edge of the opening 20 for fitting to the lid 3. A second tank 40 (shown in FIG. 4) is formed at a bottom of the body 2 and along an inward edge of the opening 20.

The lid 3 covers the opening 20 of the body 2, and is disc-like with an inner surface. A second fixing portion is formed on the lid 3 for corresponding to the first fixing portion. The second fixing portion includes a ring recess 30 around the inner surface of the lid 3 for locking with the ring flange 21, as a result, the opening 20 fitting to the lid 3 tightly. The lid 3 further forms a tongue portion 31 for facilitating operation as the lid 3 is opened up. A link portion 5 is formed unitarily between the lid 3 and the body 2 to connect the lid 3 with the body 2 in integrity. A cavity 32 is defined in the lid 3 for fixing the first tank 4 therein. In one embodiment, a ring inner wall 321 extends from the inner surface of the lid 3 to define the cavity 32.

The first tank 4 is hollow and made of PE or PP plastic material. Drying material is respectively stuffed in the first tank 4 and the second tank 40. In one embodiment, the drying material is ordinary desiccant (not shown). The desiccant is accommodated in the first tank 4 and the second tank 40, respectively. Then the first tank 4 is assembled on the cavity 32 of the lid 3, and the second tank 40 is assembled on a bottom of the body 2.

FIGS. 4 and 5 clearly show that the ring flange 21 locks with the ring recess 30 fully and closely, with the drying material in the lid 3, preventing moisture about upper area of the moistureproof container 1. Furthermore, drying material is likewise provided on the bottom of the body 2, further preventing moisture about low area of the moistureproof container 1. Therefore, relatively large area of the moistureproof container 1 is capable of preventing from moisture, and correspondingly, articles are well reserved therein.

It is understood that the invention may be embodied in other forms without departing from the spirit thereof. Thus, the present examples and embodiments are to be considered in all respects as illustrative and not restrictive, and the invention is not to be limited to the details given herein.
