A sink is a block has a shallow basin. A drainer of the sink has a big cover to buffer an impact of water on the drainer. The sink is installed easily and has a strong structure to avoid being broken.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a sink; more particularly, relates to installing the sink with ease and obtaining a strong structure for the sink to avoid being broke easily.

DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART

A general sink, such as a hand-washing sink,is an arc body made of ceramics, where the arc body had a concave basin and the concave basin has a sinkhole with a drainer plug. When installing the sink, the arc body is fixed on a required wall surface coordinated with a fixing device; and the concave basin is corresponding to a water mouth of a spigot and is connected with a drain. Then a support is used at bottom of the arc body to stably install the sink at the required place for holding water.

Although the sink can be installed at the required place for holding water, the installation process is complex where the fixing device is required for fixing the sink on the wall surface; and the support is required for the sink at bottom of the arc body. Besides, when the arc body is regularly pressed down in the long run by little children or young boys by grabbing and hanging on the border, the fixing device for the arc body and the support at bottom may be loosed. As the situation continues, the arc body may even be broken to leave a user in danger. In addition, the concave basin is deep. When an object falls down from high, a great impact out of acceleration of gravity of the object is totally received by only a part of the concave basin and so the concave basin may be broken. Hence, the prior art does not fulfill users' requests on actual use.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The main purpose of the present invention is to install the sink with ease and to obtain a strong structure for the sink to avoid being broken easily.

To achieve the above purpose, the present invention is a sink having a shallow basin, comprising a sink body, a drainer and a watering device, where the sink body has a concave basin area; the basin area has a sinkhole at center penetrating through the sink body; the sink body has a plane surface at bottom and the basin area is shallow; the drainer is located in the sinkhole and comprises a cylinder and a drain cover; and the watering device has a water mouth corresponding to the drain cover. Accordingly, a novel sink having a shallow basin is obtained.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

The following description of the preferred embodiment is provided to understand the features and the structures of the present invention.

Please refer to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, which are a perspective view and a sectional view showing a preferred embodiment according to the present invention. As shown in the figures, the present invention is a sink having a shallow basin, comprising a sink body 1, a drainer 2 and a watering device 3, where the sink is installed with ease, has a strong structure and is not easily broken.

The sink body 1 is a block and the block is a cubic block or a cylindrical block; the sink body 1 has a structure of stainless steel, ceramics, enamel, glass, and graphite; the sink body 1 has a concave basin area 11 and the basin area 11 has a sinkhole 12 penetrating through the basin area 11 at center; the sink body 1 has a plane surface at bottom; and width of the sink body 15 is more than five times to depth of the basin area 14.

The drainer 2 has a cylinder 21 movably located in the sinkhole 12 and a drain cover 22 deposed at an end of the cylinder 21, where the cylinder 21 is sleeved with a plastic member 23 and an end of the plastic member 23 is butted against a bottom of the sinkhole 12; and the drain cover 22 has a surface 221 which is convex, plane or concave.

The watering device 3 has a water mouth 31 located above the drain cover 22 correspondingly; and a sectional area of water column flowed from the water mouth 31 is smaller than a half area of the drain cover 22. Thus, a novel sink having a shallow basin is obtained.

Please refer to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, which are perspective view and a sectional view showing a first state of use. As shown in the figure, when using the present invention, a sink body 1 is deposed on a platform 4, where the plane surface 13 at bottom of the sink body 1 is stuck on a surface of the platform 4 and a sinkhole 12 of the sink body 1 is corresponding to a drain 41 of the platform 4. In this way, the sink body 1 is easily set and is stably installed on the platform 4 without any other support or fixing device.

A watering device 3 according to the present invention is directly deposed on a wall surface 5 or at border of the sink body 1 (not shown in the figures) according to the design for a building. Then, a water mouth 31 of the watering device 3 is located above a drain cover 22 of a drainer 2 correspondingly. A sectional area of water column flowed from the water mouth 31 is smaller than a half area of the drain cover 22. And the drainer 2 is pushed to open or cover the sinkhole 12 by the drain cover 22. Thus, the present invention is installed.

When the user opens the watering device 3, water is flowed from the water mouth 3 and directly flushes on a convex surface 221 of the drain cover 22 at an end of the drainer 2 and so the drain cover 22 becomes a buffer of the drainer 2 for the flushing water to prevent water from spattering out a basin area 11 of the sink body. With the coordination of a plastic member 23 between the drainer 2 and the sinkhole 12, the drainer 2 is moved up and down constantly for better buffering on flushing the drain cover 22 with the water so that the user is no spattered with the water out of the shallowness of the basin area 11. Besides, when an object falls down from high, owing to the shallowness of the basin area 11, the distance between the object and the basin area 11 is shortened to balance the impact on the basin area 11.

Please refer to FIG. 5 which is a sectional view showing a second state of use. As shown in the figure, a cylinder 21 of a drainer 2 according to the present invention further comprises a linked member 23, comprising a connecting rod 241 deposed at bottom end of the cylinder 21 and a vertical rod 242 pivoted on the connecting rod 241. The vertical rod 242 is located at border of a sink body 1 or at a proper position of a platform 4 (not shown in the figure) so that the vertical rod 242 is used to move the cylinder 21 by the connecting rod 241 for opening or closing a sinkhole 12 of a basin area 11 of the sink body 1 with a drain cover 22 of the drainer 2.

To sum up, the present invention is a sink having a shallow basin, where the sink is installed with ease, has a strong structure and is not easily broken.

The preferred embodiment herein disclosed is not intended to unnecessarily limit the scope of the invention. Therefore, simple modifications or variations belonging to the equivalent of the scope of the claims and the instructions disclosed herein for a patent are all within the scope of the present invention.

Claims

1. A sink having a shallow basin, comprising;

a sink body, said sink body having a concave basin area, said basin area having a sinkhole penetrating through said basin area at center of said basin area, said sink body having a plane surface at bottom of said sink body;
a drainer, said drainer comprising a cylinder and a drain cover, said cylinder being movably located in said sinkhole, said drain cover being deposed at an end of said cylinder; and
a watering device, said watering device having a water mouth, said water mouth being corresponding to said drain cover,
wherein width of said body is longer than five times to depth of said basin area; and
wherein a sectional area of water column flowed from said water mouth is smaller than a half area of said drain cover.

2. The sink according to claim 1,

wherein said sink body is a block and said sink body is a block and said block is selected from a group consisting of a cubic block and a cylindrical block.

3. The sink according to claim 1,

wherein said sink body has a structure of a material selected from a group consisting of stainless steel, ceramics, enamel, glass, and graphite.

4. The sink according to claim 1,

wherein said cylinder of said drainer is sleeved with a plastic member and an end of said plastic member is butted against a bottom of said sinkhole.

5. The sink according to claim 1,

wherein said cylinder further comprises a linked member; and
wherein said linked member has a connecting rod, connected at a bottom end of said cylinder, and a vertical rod, pivoted on said connecting rod.

6. The sink according to claim 1,

wherein said drain cover has a convex surface.

7. The sink according to claim 1,

wherein said drain cover has a plane surface.

8. The sink according to claim 1,

wherein said drain cover has a concave surface.
