(2) Description of the Related Art
The spread of personal computers and Internet technology among the United States population and businesses over the past decade has been extraordinary. The “World Wide Web” revolution has brought the entire world into the reach of domestic enterprises. In 2001, The Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor stated that, “72.3 million persons used a computer at work. This accounted for about 53.5% or more than half of the total employed population.” By 2008 75% of U.S. professionals will be wireless. Computers have revolutionized many aspects of society and how people perform business practices. With the ability to speed up overall tasks and objectives, many business fields have found it unavoidable to familiarize themselves with various computer applications. Its uses in business operations, policy, and governmental systems have resulted in dramatic steps in economic development. This invention will assists those people within both private and public sectors with a means to perform tasks and objectives more efficiently.
BRIEF SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTIONThe invention has been ergonomically designed to provide protective support, assistance, and comfort for those people that most frequently use information technology or carry innovative technological equipment. The invention provides a means for protecting technological machinery such as portable electronic devices, laptop computers, digital game systems, digital cameras, PDA devices, and other innovative wireless devices. The invention is a leather satchel case that provides a safe, convenient and comfortable way to protect valuable wireless electronic equipment when traveling to various indoor and outdoor environmental settings.
This invention is an innovative device that combines two separate ergonomic processes. It has been created to provide an alternative solution for people concerned about adapting to innovative technology and environments that may provide barriers for utilizing technologically advanced equipment. The invention is a satchel protective casing that has the ability to provide assistance for those people that use at least small portable electronic devices, laptop computers, digital game systems, digital cameras, PDA devices, and other innovative technological equipment. The invention provides a means for carrying innovative technology to extreme indoor and outdoor environmental settings and easy accessibility in situations that only require a short period of time for use
It has been created with aerodynamic shaping that provides wind resistance during everyday carrying and/or traveling on at least mobile transportations on land, water, and within the atmosphere. The invention is created with a water resistant leather animal hide material outside framing. The leather outside leather hide framing treated and sown in a way that it has the ability protect valuable electronic equipment it is transporting from extreme environmental factors such as weather, temperature change, and pressure variation. An additional piece of leather hide is sown onto the top and bottom area to form a shoulder strap. The shoulder strap has been created with extra wide width to provide extra support for at least the upper arm, upper back, neck, and shoulder areas. Also sown into the left and right side areas of the outside leather hide framing is a waist strap. The waist strap has the ability to secure the invention around the waist area when performing tasks that require excessive motion or use of the hand or arm. The waist strap provides extra support for activities performed on at least land, water, and within the atmosphere.
Sown onto the outside of the leather animal hide material framing is an extractable pocket that is able to conceal at least floppy disk, CDs, writing utensils, PDA accessories, and/or miniature notebooks. Attachments such as zippers, buttons, clips, rings, and sealing principles are applied in conformance with ergonomic standardization and to make the invention function properly.
A protective copolymers foam material inside mold is enclosed and sown into the leather outside leather hide framing so that it provides a hard durable protection outside shell. The inside molding are composed of two individual symmetric shapes to form a top and bottom. Both moldings have good barrier properties, low temperature toughness, stress-crack resistance, hot-melt adhesive and heat sealing properties that give the invention the ability to withstand minor hits, knocks, slams bangs, or small accidental drops. Placed inside of each mold is a symmetric square shaped port so that is able to secure valuable machinery that is being carried inside when properly closed. A special lining material is sown over the two inside moldings and ports to combine the outside leather and inside casing together.
Claims
1. The invention contains lightweight soft copolymer foam material interior molds that have good barrier properties, low temperature toughness, stress-crack resistance, hot-melt adhesiveness and heat sealing properties.
2. The invention has the ability to protect at least portable electronic devices, laptops, recording and playback equipment, digital game systems, digital cameras, personal digital assistance apparatuses, and innovative wireless devices from minor drops, hits, scrapes, and light vibration variance.
3. The invention was created to provide water-resistance and extreme temperature protection for at least portable electronic devices, laptop computers, recording and playback equipment, digital game systems, digital cameras, personal digital assistance apparatuses, and innovative wireless devices.
4. The invention has an aero-dynamic shape that reduces the flow of air, gas, or shockwave during everyday carrying and/or traveling on at least mobile transportations on land, water, and within the atmosphere. The shaping solves properties such as velocity, pressure, density, and temperature.
