Bed safety cushion for children's, handicapped, elderly or other person's beds

The attachable Bed Safety Cushion is a durable cushion that provides safety to a person who may fall out of bed while they are sleeping and is easily removable. The Bed Safety Cushion is placed under the sheet or mattress cover or both, either side and top/bottom of the bed rim and is secured by Velcro or another type of adhesive to the mattress. The bed safety cushion creates a “speed bump” effect and is designed to secure sleeping area for a person so they do not fall out of bed. The bed bump can be removed from mattress adhesive sections by pulling the bumper away from the attached material sections. The bed safety cushion can cover all the sides of the beds unlike the currently sold bed rails where a child is able to squirm his/her way to the foot of the bed and easily fall off the open section.

Claims

1. A Bed Safety Cushion provides safety to a child, handicapped, elderly or other person's bed who may fall out of bed while they are sleeping. The Bed Safety Cushion is placed under the sheet or mattress cover on both or either side or top/bottom at the rim of bed and is secured by Velcro adhesives, buckles, glue or another adhesive type material to the mattress. The Bed Safety Cushion is secured under the mattress, which will not allow entanglement of the person in the sheet.
