Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a waist belt for use in a single-shoulder bag to effectively, uniformly distribute the weight of the carry bag over the human body for reducing the human body's load by transforming the single-point support into the multi-point support.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The sporting population is increasing year after year with the increasing popularization of outdoor sports activities and outdoor leisure activities. Numerous article-carrying backpacks and shoulder bags are disclosed to facilitate carriage. The general backpacks can be carried on the back in several different ways so they can provide different carrying effects. The shoulder bag is usually designed to be carried on a single point of single shoulder, making the neck and the shoulder of the user very uncomfortable. In addition, the human body will get hurt once the weight exceeds the load-bearing limit of single shoulder or single hand.

In addition, the articles are usually unbalancedly held in the general shoulder bag so it is very inconvenient to shift or carry the shoulder bag and the muscle may get hurt when the weight of the articles exceeds the load-bearing limit.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, the present invention discloses a waist belt for a single-shoulder bag to protect the user by providing the user with good load-carrying ability and load-supporting ability.

A major object of the present invention is to provide a waist belt for a single-shoulder bag that prevents the single shoulder from solely bearing the whole weight and avoids the occurrence of unbalanced center of gravity caused by the movement of single-shoulder bag, thereby effectively reducing the harm caused by single-point support.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned and other objects, the present invention discloses a waist belt for a single-shoulder bag, wherein the waist belt comprises a first waistband and a second waistband. The first waistband has a fixed end connected to a first connected portion between the single-shoulder bag and a shoulder strap. The second waistband has a fixed end connected to a second connected portion between the single-shoulder bag and the shoulder strap. The first waistband has a first coupling device on a detachable end. The second waistband has a second coupling device on a detachable end. The first coupling device and the second coupling device are detachably attachable to each other for binding the waist of the human body.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1, 2, 8 and 9, a waist belt of the present invention is generally designed for use in a single-shoulder bag, wherein the waist belt is mounted on the connected portions between the single-shoulder bag 4 and a shoulder strap 3 for effectively, uniformly distributing the weight of the carry bag (such as shoulder bag and golf bag) over the human body by transforming the single-point support into the multi-point support.

The waist belt comprises a first waistband 1 and a second waistband 2, wherein the first waistband 1 and the second waistband 2 can be made of a resilient material or a non-resilient material. In addition, the first waistband 1 or the second waistband 2 has a length-adjusting device. For example, the length-adjusting device is such as an adjustor (shown in FIG. 2) for insertion thereinto and positioning of the first waistband 1. In addition, the identical construction (not shown) is applicable to the second waistband 2.

The first waistband 1 has a fixed end 11 connected to the connected portion between the single-shoulder bag 4 and the shoulder strap 3. The second waistband 2 has a fixed end 21 connected to the connected portion between the single-shoulder bag 4 and the shoulder strap 3. The first waistband 1 has a first coupling device 12 on a detachable end. The second waistband 2 has a second coupling device 22 on a detachable end. The first coupling device 12 of the first waistband 1 and the second coupling device 22 of the second waistband 2 are attachable to each other to allow the first waistband 1 and the second waistband 2 to constitute the waist belt capable of binding the waist of the human body. In addition, the first and second coupling devices 12, 22 are detachable from each other. As a result, the weight of the carry bag can be distributed over the shoulder and the waist to prevent the single shoulder from bearing the whole weight and to avoid the occurrence of an unbalanced center of gravity caused by the movement of single-shoulder bag, thereby effectively reducing the harm caused by single-point support.

As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the fixed ends 11, 21 of the first and second waistbands 1, 2 are respectively fixed to the connected portions between the single-shoulder bag 4 and the shoulder strap 3. In addition, the first waistband 1 and the second waistband 2 are adjustable in length.

As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, the first and second coupling devices 12, 22 of the first and second waistbands 1, 2 can be hook and loop fasteners 121, 221 or Velcro-type fasteners 122, 222.

To facilitate the storage of the first and second waistbands 1, 2, two respective belt retractors 5 may be further mounted on the first and second waistbands 1, 2 near the fixed ends 11, 21.

In addition, referring to FIGS. 6, 7 and 8, the fixed ends 11, 21 of the first and second waistbands 1, 2 are detachable from the above-mentioned connected portions by means of buckles 6 or binders 7.

In such as structure, the fixed ends of the first and second waistbands are fixed to or detachable from the connected portions between the shoulder bag and the shoulder strap, wherein the connected portions include the direct connected portions between the shoulder bag and the shoulder strap and any nearby location.
