FIELD OF INVENTION

This invention relates to a new method of operating a baseball league.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The popularity of various baseball activities in which individuals simulate managing a group of players has grown in recent years. However, there is no opportunity for these baseball enthusiasts to experience managing an actual team in an actual game. Needed is a method of operating a baseball league wherein the right to manage a member team for a selected number of scheduled games is offered for sale.

OBJECTS AND ADVANTAGES

The present invention alleviates the aforementioned problem by providing a method of operating a baseball league wherein the right to manage a member team for a selected number of scheduled games is offered for sale. This unique method of operating a baseball league allows the baseball enthusiast to manage every phase of an actual baseball game including such decisions as when to change pitchers, when to bunt, and when to steal a base. Such an experience would be much more satisfying to a baseball enthusiast than merely choosing a group of professional players and observing their statistics throughout a season.

Furthermore, the manager would be matching wits with another manager. A group of baseball fans could put their baseball knowledge to the test by managing against one another in a series of baseball games.

SUMMARY

The above problems and others are at least partially solved and the above purposes and others realized in this method of operating a baseball league wherein the right to manage a member team for a selected number of scheduled games is offered for sale.
