OBJECT HANGER
A hanger for hanging an object includes a flexible belt, a fastener and a ring. The fastener has a first fastening member and a second fastening member, which are respectively mounted on the flexible belt and detachably coupled with each other. The ring is sleeved onto the flexible belt and located between the first fastening member and the second fastening member. The ring defines with the flexible belt a piercing space having a width greater than a thickness of the first fastening member of the fastener and smaller than a combined thickness of the first fastening member and the second fastening member of the fastener. Thus, when the flexible belt is pulled by an external force, the first fastening member and the second fastening member can be maintained engaged with each other without separation by means of the restriction of the piercing space.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates generally to a hanger for hanging an object, and more specifically to a hanger formed of a belt equipped with a fastener and provided with means for preventing looseness of the fastener.
2. Description of the Related Art
However, the bag 4 is pendent because of the attraction of the force of gravity. If the bag 4 is too heavy, the engagement of the male disc 2 and the female disc 3 of the snap fastener may not support the bag 4 such that the male disc 2 and the female disc 3 will be probably disengaged, causing the bag 4 to fall to the ground suddenly, as shown in
The present invention has been accomplished in view of the above-noted circumstances. It is one objective of the present invention to provide a hanger for suspending an object, which is formed of a belt equipped with a fastener and provided with means for preventing looseness of the fastener.
To achieve this objective of the present invention, the hanger comprises a flexible belt, a fastener and a ring. The fastener has a first fastening member and a second fastening member, which are mounted on the flexible belt and detachably coupled with each other. The ring is sleeved onto the flexible belt and located between the first fastening member and the second fastening member of the fastener. The ring and defines with the flexible belt a piercing space having a width greater than a thickness of the first fastening member of the fastener and smaller than a combined thickness of the first fastening member and the second fastening member of the fastener. As a result, when the flexible belt is pulled by an external force, the first fastening member and the second fastening member can be maintained engaged with each other without separation by means of the restriction of the piercing space.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the fastener is a snap fastener including a male disc acted as the first fastening member and a female disc acted as the second fastening member.
Further scope of applicability of the present invention will become apparent from the detailed description given hereinafter. However, it should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating preferred embodiments of the invention, are given by way of illustration only, since various changes and modifications within the spirit and scope of the invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art from this detailed description.
The present invention will become more fully understood from the detailed description given herein below and the accompanying drawings which are given by way of illustration only, and thus are not limitative of the present invention, and wherein:
Referring to
The flexible belt 10 is made of woven fabrics with a middle part for connecting with a bag (not shown). The flexible belt 10 has an outer surface 11, an inner surface 12.
The fastener 30, which is embodied as but not limited to a snap fastener in this embodiment, includes a first fastening member 31, for example a male disc of the snap fastener, and a second fastening member 32, for example a female disc of the snap fastener. Both of the first fastening member 31 and the second fastening member 32 are mounted on the flexible belt 10 and respectively adjacent to a first end portion 13 and a second end portion 14 of the flexible belt 10.
The ring 20 is a rectangular rigid body that is sleeved onto the flexible belt 10 and located between the first fastening member 31 and the second fastening member 32 of the fastener 30. The first end portion 13 of the flexible belt 10 is folded back and stitched on the outer surface 11 of the belt 10 in such a way that a section of the rectangular ring 20 is pivotally sandwiched between the first end portion 13 and a part of the outer surface 11 of the belt 10 and the other sections of the rectangular ring 20 define with the inner surface 12 of the flexible belt 10 a piercing space 21. In addition, a width of the piercing space 21 is greater than a thickness of the first fastening member 31 and/or the second fastening member 32 of the fastener 30 and smaller than a combined thickness of the first fastening member 31 and the second fastening member 32 of the fastener 30 when the first fastening member 31 and the second fastening member 32 are coupled with each other.
When the hanger 100 is in use, a user can take the first end portion 13 of the flexible belt 10 to pass through an annular object 40, and then take the second end portion 14 of the flexible belt 10 to pierce through the piercing space 21 formed between the ring 20 and the inner surface 12 of the flexible belt 10, and subsequently couple the first fastening member 31 and the second fastening member 32 with each other, as shown in
By means of the aforesaid design, because the width of the piercing space 21 is smaller than the combined thickness of the first fastening member 31 and the second fastening member 32, only the second end portion 14 of the flexible belt 10 on which the second fastening member 32 is provided can be allowed to pass through the piercing space 21. Accordingly, when the flexible belt 10 is pulled by the force of gravity or an external force, the ring 20 will be biased and compressed against the outer surface 11 of the flexible belt 10, as shown in
Referring to
The invention being thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
