SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is directed to a disposable bag comprising a disposable bag having a back closure flap with an adhesive strip that may adhere to any surface. The closure flap extends from the end of the disposable bag object at which the opening of the disposable bag is located and has an adhesive strip extending the width of the back closure flap that allows the user to adhere the adhesive strip to any surface.

The object of the present invention is to provide a disposable bag that may adhere to any surface to obviate the need of a garbage can or stand.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the disposable bag with adhesive strip designed in accordance with the invention.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the disposable bag with adhesive strip designed in accordance with an embodiment of the invention illustrating the use of a bracket to provide support.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

FIG. 1 illustrates an embodiment of a disposable bag with adhesive strip shown generally at 1 in the Figures. The disposable bag with adhesive strip 1 includes a disposable bag 2 with a back closure flap 3 extending from the end of the disposable bag 2 having the opening 7. The back closure flap 3 has an adhesive strip 5 extending the width of the back closure flap 3. The adhesive strip 5 may located on either side of the back closure flap 3 to allow the user to adhere the back closure flap 3 against any flat surface. The object of the present invention is to allow the user to have the disposable bag with adhesive strip 1 to remain upright against any flat surface without needing to use a garbage can or stand.

The disposable bag 2 may be constructed as are any conventional bags, such as paper, fiber, textile, plastic, composite, or any combination of these. The adhesive strip 5 may be constructed from any rubber adhesive or silicone adhesive or conventional adhesive materials.

FIG. 2 illustrates an embodiment of the present invention wherein a bracket 9 is attached to the back closure flap 3. The bracket 9 may be any conventional bracket including v type bracket as shown to provide support to the adhesive strip 5. The bracket 9 may also include a wire bracket to provide support to the adhesive strip 5 and back closure flap 3.

In another embodiment of the invention, illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the disposable bag 2 may have a front closure flap 11 with adhesive strip 13 extending from the end of the disposable bag 2 having the opening 7 and opposite the back closure flap 3. The front closure flap 11 having an adhesive strip 13 located on the underside of the front closure flap 11 may be flipped over to cover the opening 7 of the disposable bag 2 to close the disposable bag 2 by either adhering to the back closure flap 3 or the back side of the disposable bag 2.

The foregoing disclosure has been set forth merely to illustrate the invention and is not intended to be limiting. Since modifications of the disclosed embodiments incorporating the spirit and substance of the invention may occur to persons skilled in the art, the invention should be construed to include everything within the scope of the appended claims and equivalents thereof.
