Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the invention

This invention is a structural gazebo is built in structural aluminum, stainless steal and trans-lucid acrylic resistant to ultraviolet rays.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Most gazebos roofs are made of fabric and/or flexible or with a permanent wood roof. These are assembled over columns that are resting on the location where it would be built. These columns are generally on the inside of the gazebo limiting the space around it. Our invention is a gazebo with a fixed roof that allows sun light through it but blocks ultraviolet rays. It has its own platform and columns, and the columns are installed outside of the gazebo allowing the use of the entire inside space. Typical of these are U.S. Pat. Nos. 4,733,508, Des. 296,593, 4,910,928, Des. 411,309, D 443,696 S, 6,349,511 B1, D458,689 S, D 471,645 S, D 482,798 S, D 483,878 S, D 506,262 S, 6,843,026 B2, D 505,908 S, D 522,146 S, D 532,116 S, 7,178,539 B2, D 538,706 S. Although these gazebos have been designed for its own use, they differed to the one presented on this invention.

A multi-sided building construction assembly having a plurality of side wall units, a like plurality of generally triangularly configured roof panels, a like plurality of combination union brackets, and a like plurality of footing brackets, with a roof center hub support having a like number of sides. The combination union bracket is configured for being received and connected atop the adjacent edges of adjacent side wall units, and include a pair of upwardly and angularly disposed roof connecting brackets. The roof center hub support has a number of side edges, each of which is disposed at the angle necessary for the pitch of the roof panel, which is supported at one end by the brackets of the union bracket member, and at the other end by the roof center hub support. The footing brackets include angularly disposed arms at the appropriate angle for the polygon, and attach beneath adjacent edges of adjacent side wall units and may be attached to a concrete slab. Footing straps are included for attachment to the footing brackets to maintain structure alignment if the structure is not to be erected atop a slab of other foundation.

A prefabricated building is provided. The prefabricated building consisting of wall panels having two resilient plates joined by honeycomb core and secured together by an upper frame which secures the top edges of the wall panels, a lower frame which secures the bottom edges of the wall panels and a plurality of connecting members with each connecting member securing two side edges of two corresponding wall panels. A roof is also provided to shelter the joined wall panels.

A gazebo is fabricated utilizing a novel construction system wherein lightweight aluminum framing components are employed. A preferred structure has eight sides wherein each side includes a pair of vertical posts, a pair of header members, a rail and foot member, columns disposed between the rail and foot member and the pair of header members, and an insulated composite roof panel. An entrance way is void of the rail and foot member, but can be employed with the necessary framing components to attach a door. As each side unit is attached by self mating beam and vertical post members to an adjacent side unit, the gazebo structure is formed. A crown portion can be attached upon an apex of the gazebo. Shingles or tiles can be attached upon the roof panels. Spline grooves formed along the vertical posts permit the gazebo to be “screened in.” A strengthening wire can also be employed around the circumference of the gazebo through each side unit upper header member for adding structural integrity to the gazebo.

A roof structure for a building in the form of a cone shaped polygon is disclosed. The roof structure includes at least three multi-element trusses attached on corresponding ends to a vertically extending central column. Each of the trusses is rotationally displaced from adjacent ones of the trusses, as measured in a horizontal plane, preferably, by the same angle. Each of the trusses is inclined outwardly and downwardly from the central column to form a series of triangularly shaped roof segments between adjacent ones of the trusses and so as to provide the roof structure shape. The central column may be a vertically extending length of hollow pipe and is essentially non-load supporting, whereby a lower end of the column is vertically spaced above a support structure for outer peripheral edge portions of the trusses. The support structure may be a series of wood posts, a different one of which is attached on an upper end portion to an outer peripheral edge portions of a corresponding one of the trusses.

A collapsible gazebo frame includes a set of four corner support members and a set of four scissor assemblies, each being coupled to a different pair of the four corner support members. Each of four scissor assembly sliders is slidingly coupled to a different one of the four corner support members and serves to extend and retract the scissor assemblies coupled to the respective corner support member when slid along the corner support member. A canopy support frame includes four canopy support members, each being coupled to the top end of a different one of the four corner support members and having a canopy frame joint. The canopy support frame also includes four canopy support arms. Each canopy support arm is coupled to a different one of the four scissor assemblies and to a different canopy frame extender such that the canopy frame joints lock when gazebo frame is deployed.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

The gazebo structure has four aluminum columns where a roof is built of aluminum, stainless steal, and trans-lucid acrylic resistant to ultraviolet rays, and rests upon.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

The gazebo structure (FIG. 1) is made of four columns (11) each built with 4 aluminum square pipes (19). The 4 aluminum square pipes are stabilized with aluminum support (20). The columns (11) are attached to the platform (10). To attached the four columns (11) to the top, aluminum stabilizers are utilized (12). To anchor the platform, stainless steal screws are utilized. This platform (10) will be anchored to concrete or to the ground. The roof is made of trans-lucid acrylic resistant to ultraviolet rays (14) that is set on an inclined position over aluminum support (15) which elevates the acrylic. The vent for air to flow (16) is located between the four acrylic sections. The acrylic is secured by a stainless steal structure (13) that holds the columns through a stainless steal anchorage (21). These supporting structures are built of stainless steal square pipes (18) that are hold together by stainless steal plates (17).
