Adapting Flange of Toilet Bowl

The present invention provides an adapting flange of toilet bowl typically including a main body having a through-hole at the center, and a sealing cap molded over the through-hole, wherein said sealing cap connects to the main body via a circular laminar connection portion, and a suspension link is attached on the top surface of the test cap. Due to the test cap integrated into the flange gasket as a whole body by the connection of the laminar connection portion, so the losing sealing cap will be efficiently avoided, it is convenient to be used greatly. Moreover, the laminar connection structure between the sealing cap and the main body, the sealing cap is easy to be tore off without any falling down into the drain pipe happened, due to the sealing cap torn-off along the laminar connection portion, the broken section left on the laminar connection portion is flat without toothed section so as to avoid hanging over the dirt to block the drain pipe happening, further to simplify the structure of the sealing cap, and to reduce the volume of the sealing cap and the manufacturing cost, meanwhile the flat broken open is left on the main body without toothed section so as to avoid hanging over the dirt to block the drain pipe happening.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to an adapting flange, and more particularly to an adapting flange of toilet bowl.

2. Description of Prior Art

Before mounting a toilet on site, the drain pipe-line has to be checked out to be sure whether the leak tightness of the drain pipe-line is good, and the drain pipe-line is free or not. The common examining method is that a flange gasket is mounted on the inlet of the drain pipe firstly, then sealing the mouth of the flange gasket with a test cap is to be used to seal the pipe-line for checking out, after examining, said test cap will be taken off and thrown away, finally by securing the outlet of the toilet bowl on the mouth of the flange gasket exactly, the toilet bowl is mounted on place. But in accordance with the most of the conventional products in the market so far, the test cap and the flange gasket are separated into two independent pieces, so that during the transportation and store, or in the time of unpacking without mounting, said separated test cap is easy to be lost, in this time another sealing method has to be found out, or to buy another matching test cap, whatever some trouble will come out in the mounting process. On the other hand, for getting the leakage efficiency, besides securing the test cap on the flange gasket, the other sealing mechanism has to be employed so that the structure of the sealing cap is so complicated that the volume of the cap is increased relatively, and the manufacturing cost increases too, and the deserted test cap may cause waste in economic.

According to above-description, an integral plastic adapting flange with a molded cap came out, thereby avoiding losing. But, due to the structure of the adapting flange, and the requirements of the injection molding processes, the connection portion of the sealing cap and the main body of the flange gasket is made so thick that it has to be knocked off with a hammer after examination, in the same time, the knocked fractions of the sealing cap will fall into the inside of the drain pipe-line to cause blocking in the pipe-line easily. On the other hand, after knocking off the sealing cap with the hammer, a toothed broken open is remained on the flange gasket, so that after using the toilet for some time, the toothed broken open will hang over with some dirt to cause blocking easily too.

OBJECTS AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide an adapting flange of toilet bowl, which facilitates to use with low manufacturing cost without any blocking caused after the examination in use.

For achieving the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides an adapting flange of toilet bowl, which includes a main body having a through-hole at the center, and a sealing cap molded over the through-hole, wherein said sealing cap connects to the main body via a circular laminar connection portion, and a suspension link is attached on the top surface of the sealing cap.

Said laminar connection portion is molded round the rim of the sealing cap, and connected to the main body with the external edge by the injection molding.

Said laminar connection portion is molded on the through-hole of the main body extending to connect the external rim of the sealing cap with the internal edge by the injection molding.

As utilizing above-mentioned structure, due to the sealing cap integrated into the flange gasket as a whole body by the connection of the laminar connection portion, so the losing sealing cap will be efficiently avoided, meanwhile the through-hole of the main body is sealed without any extra sealing mechanism attached any more, so that the drain pipe is sealed naturally and conveniently after the adapting flange is mounted on. Additionally, because said sealing cap is connected to the main body via a weaken laminar connection portion, after examining the drain pipe-line, just need to exert an extra force on the sealing cap, the laminar connection portion will be torn away so that the sealing cap is taken apart from the main body without any securing and sealing mechanisms attached on, further to simplify the structure of the sealing cap, and to reduce the volume of the sealing cap and the manufacturing cost. Moreover, the laminar connection structure between the sealing cap and the main body, basing on the principle of levers, the test cap is easy to be rose at one side for tearing off without any falling down into the drain pipe happened, due to the sealing cap torn-off along the laminar connection portion, the broken section left on the laminar connection portion is flat without toothed section so as to avoid hanging over the dirt to block the drain pipe happening.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, an adapting flange of toilet bowl disclosed by the present invention is used for attaching on the inlet of the drain pipe (not shown in drawings). Said adapting flange typically includes a main body 1 having a through-hole 11 at the center, and a sealing cap 2 molded over the through-hole 11, wherein said sealing cap 2 connects to the main body 1 via a circular laminar connection portion 3, and a suspension link 21 is attached on the top surface of the sealing cap 2.

In practicing, said adapting flange is attached on the inlet of the drain pipe tightly (not shown in drawings), meanwhile said sealing cap 2 molded on the main body 1 seals the inlet of the drain pipe naturally and conveniently, facilitate to check out the drain pipe-line. After examining the drain pipe-line, the user just needs to use a lever tool to rise the one side of the suspension link 21 up with one end, by means of the weaken laminar connection portion, the sealing cap 2 will be torn off along the laminar connection portion easily to take apart from the main body 1, then it is thrown away, after that, the toilet bowl can be sit on place.

Claims

1. An adapting flange of toilet bowl typically including a main body having a through-hole at the center, and a sealing cap molded over the through-hole, wherein said sealing cap connects to the main body via a circular laminar connection portion, and a suspension link is attached on the top surface of the sealing cap.

2. An adapting flange of toilet bowl as claimed in claim 1, wherein said 1 laminar connection portion is molded round the rim of the sealing cap, and connected to the main body with the external edge by the injection molding.

3. An adapting flange of toilet bowl as claimed in claim 1, wherein said laminar connection portion is molded on the through-hole of the main body extending to connect the external rim of the sealing cap with the internal edge by the injection molding.
