FILE FOLDER

The present invention provides an improved file folder structure, which addresses the problem of a typical file folder that only accommodates files into the space and receiving portion of the main body without a sub-folder. The present invention includes a bridging file folder with a flanged portion laterally formed thereon, so that the bridging file folder can be bridged into any position of the groove of the main body. There is a single groove or a plurality of grooves. So, several bridging file folders can be accommodated into the main body, presenting simple assembly and improved convenience for independent application.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates generally to a file folder, and more particularly to an innovative file folder which has an improved structure.

2. Description of Related Art

There are currently available a variety of file folders. A file folder refers to a main body with an accommodating space, and several receiving portions are laterally arranged on the main body. The main body is fitted with a cover, which has a coupling portion, allowing it to be adapted to the assembly portion on the preset location of the main body. The cover is also fitted with a handle for the users. However, this file folder only permits all files to be placed into its accommodating space, making it difficult to meet user demands if the user intends to use an independent sub-folder.

Therefore, there is still lots of room for development of a file folder to meet demanding requirements of all users.

Thus, to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it would be an advancement in the art to provide an improved structure that can significantly improve efficacy.

Therefore, the inventor has provided the present invention of practicability after deliberate design and evaluation based on years of experience in the production, development and design of related products.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Based on the present invention, a flanged portion 21 of a bridging file folder 20 is bridged laterally into any position of the groove 11, and there is a single or a plurality of grooves 11. The user can place some files separately into receiving portion 21 of the bridging file folder 20. The present invention allows several bridging file folders 20 to be assembled into a main body 10, presenting simple assembly and detachable convenience.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The features and the advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood upon a thoughtful deliberation of the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIGS. 1-3 depict preferred embodiments of file folder of the present invention. The embodiments are provided only for explanatory purposes.

File folder A comprises a main body 10 and a groove 11, which is provided with either a single or a plurality of accommodating spaces (shown in FIG. 1) separated by a few baffle plates 12 (like an organ-type file folder). A bridging file folder 20 has a receiving portion 21. A flanged portion 22 is laterally arranged onto the bridging file folder 20 and can also be assembled onto a preset location of the main body 10. The flanged portion 22 is fitted with a space for accommodating small files (e.g. CD, business cards).

Referring to FIG. 1, some members are placed correspondingly onto a preset location of the main body 10 and bridging file folder 20. For example, a coupling portion 23 could be assembled onto the preset location of said flanged portion 22, and an assembly portion 13 could be assembled onto the preset location of the main body 10, of which the coupling portion 23 and assembly portion 13 are fixed by male or female fasteners or adhering band.

Based upon above-specified structures, the present invention operates as described below.

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 3, the flanged portion 21 of said bridging file folder 20 is bridged laterally on the groove 11 of the main body 10, so that the bridging file folder 20 can be accommodated into the groove 11. The flanged portion 21 is formed outside of the groove 11, enabling assembly and positioning through assembly portion 13 and coupling portion 23 on the main body 10 and flanged portion 21.

Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, said bridging file folder 20 allows a through groove 24 to be assembled onto a preset location of the flanged portion 21. The baffle plate 12 is fitted with a flange 12B, so that the bridging file folder 20 can extend across the through groove 24 via the flange 12B to any location within the groove 11 of main body 10.

Referring to FIG. 6, said bridging file folder 20 can also be bridged on the baffle plate 12 at center of the main body 10. The flange 12B of the baffle plate 12 is allowed to extend into through groove 24 of the flanged portion 21 of bridging file folder 20, thus forming another assembly pattern.

Claims

1. A file folder structure, comprising:

a file folder main body with a groove;
a bridging file folder with a receiving portion; and
a flanged portion is laterally arranged onto said bridging file folder; and assembled onto a preset location of the main body.

2. The file folder structure defined in claim 1, wherein said file folder main body is comprised of a plurality of grooves.

3. The file folder structure defined in claim 1, wherein the main body has an assembly member at a preset location and said bridging file folder has a coupling member at a preset location.

4. The file folder structure defined in claim 3, wherein said assembly member is comprised of male or female fasteners fixed through said groove of the main body and wherein said coupling member is comprised of flanges with corresponding female or male fasteners fixed onto a preset location of said bridging file folder.
