RELATED APPLICATIONS

This is a Continuation-In-Part patent application of applicant's earlier non-provisional application of application Ser. No. 11/896,187, filed on Aug. 30, 2007.

BACKGROUND

1. Technical Fields

The present invention relates to an improved structure of bra cup, particularly for one having high elastic fiber as stuffing substrate so as to offer better thickness and elasticity as well as better shape-retention and air-permeability.

2. Prior Arts

The brassiere is a woman's undergarment worn to support and give contour to the breasts and silhouette of figure. Keeping abreast with the escalation of the living quality over time, the emphasis and requirement on bras has largely shifted from functionality to fashionable and health concern. The design and structure of the bra cups is the critical subject in marketability of the bra industry as bra cups are the primary part of the bra.

Currently, the bra cups are generally made by foam fabric, non-woven fabric or dual-twilled khaki fabric.

Wherein, the foam fabric bra cups, which has foam fabric stuffed between two linings, feature bad shape-retention and color-fast ability for post-treatment such as laundering. Besides, to the users, the foam fabric is not only muggy feeling due to worse air permeability but also allergic effect due to rather toxic nature. Thus, it is not good for making bra cups, which is skin-closely underwear for long term use.

The dual-twilled khaki fabric bra cups, which a comparative high-price fabric being closely twilled cloth of fibers for being stuffed between two linings, feature comparatively better air permeability and flexibility than foam and non-woven fabrics, but unable to thicken for serving as primary layer of bra cups.

In view of these issues aforesaid, the applicant of the present invention has undertaken long term constantly study and research for solving the issues related and improving bra cup structure, the present invention of bra cups with good air permeability and shape-retention is contrived eventually.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the present invention provides an improved structure of bra cup for the primary object in offering better elasticity and air permeability in association with feature of shape retention and resumption as well as better elevation and centralization of breasts for comfortable snugness and appealing attraction.

In order to achieve the object aforesaid, the inventor of the present invention specially designs an improved structure of bra cup, which comprises an inner backing, an outer covering and a laminating elastomer sandwiched therebetween, in thermally compressed shaping together with cutting and sewing by machine. Its feature is that said laminating elastomer is made of polyester fiber in special laminated substrate with plural pleating interface, which can be served as binding interface in coordination with special compression and thermal bonding fabricating process.

Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiments

Firstly, please refer to FIG. 1, the sheer bra cups 1 of the present invention comprises an inner backing 2, an outer covering 3 and a thermoplastic laminating elastomer 4 sandwiched between inner backing 2 and outer covering 3, wherein, said inner backing 2 and outer covering 3 are made of non-woven fabric; and said laminating elastomer 4 is fabricated in three phases by automatic production line as below:

First phase: The elastomer tissue substrate 41 of thermoplastic polyester fiber is fed into the swing-type corrugation shaperA1 via input conveyor A, where the elastomer tissue substrate 41 is guided and swung into continuous corrugated shape by constant pendulum motion from the pair of parallel clamping conveyor A11, which are juxtaposed in the swing-type corrugation shaperA1 as shown in the FIG. 2. The corrugated elastomer tissue substrate 41 is next pushed towards the collecting baffle A3 via output chute A2, which confines the thickness of the corrugated elastomer tissue substrate 41 by presetting height parameter in association with predetermined pendulum amplitude of the pair parallel clamping conveyor A11, for compression and cutting as desired length.

Second phase: as both of two arrow heads representing inwards compressing forces shown in the FIGS. 3 and 4, the cut corrugated elastomer tissue substrate 41 is compressed over the non-woven fabric 42 into tightly stacked mattress-shaped sheet with multiple layer of pleating interfaces 411 successively contacted to each other and plural folding creases 412 sequentially arrayed on both of the top and bottom sides (as shown in the FIG. 4).

Third phase: The compressed elastomer tissue substrate 41 sheet and the non-woven fabric 42 are sent to an oven for thermal treatment with temperature of 130° C. preset for fusing boundaries between each pair of adjacent pleating interfaces 411 in the elastomer tissue substrate 41 and the boundary between elastomer tissue substrate 41 and non-woven fabric 42 so that the whole elastomer tissue substrate 41 becomes a mattress-shaped sheet with disperse-resistant property by the bonded fusing boundaries, which are coagulated in normal room temperature. Then, both of the plural folding creases 412 sequentially arrayed on both of the top and bottom sides are cut away to remain the core sheet of the elastomer tissue substrate 41 for being used as expected product of laminating elastomer 4 as shown in the FIG. 5.

For manufacturing sheer bra cups 1, both of the inner backing 2 and outer covering 3 are wrapped and attached on both of the upper and bottom surfaces of the laminating elastomer 4 by thermally compressed shaping together with machined cutting and sewing to produce a sheer bra cups 1 without padding falsies inside. For practical wearing the sheer bra cups 1, as all the arrow heads representing air and body temperature permeating through the parallel layer between pleating interface 411 within the laminating elastomer 4 shown in the FIG. 6, the wearer will feel more comfortable and snug than that of conventional bra cups because air and body temperature can be dissipated out of the sheer bra cups 1.

Please further refer to the FIG. 7, which is the other exemplary embodiment for the padding bra cups 6 of the present invention. The padding bra cups 5 has a pre-shaped laminating elastomer falsies 4′, which is fabricated by the same process as those for laminating elastomer 4 except with different thickness set by different processing parameters, cushioned in proper position beneath of the laminating elastomer 4 to serve as a padding. For manufacturing padding bra cups 5, by the same token, both of the inner backing 2 and outer covering 3 are wrapped and attached on both of the upper and bottom surfaces including both of the laminating elastomer 4 and cushioned laminating elastomer falsies 4′ by thermally compressed shaping together with machined cutting and sewing to produce a padding bra cups 5.

From the disclosure above, the present invention indeed possesses following advantages:

1. The thickness of the laminating elastomer in the bra cups for the present invention can be adapted up to 3˜5 centimeters in about tenfold of dual-twilled khaki fabric with proper pleating interfaces created therein so that the bra cups offers better elevation and centralization of breasts for beautiful coverage contour in appealing attraction.

2. By means of the pleating interfaces in the laminating elastomer for the present invention, the bra cups offers better elasticity and air permeability in association with feature of comfortable snugness without any muggy feeling as well as better shape retention and resumption.

In conclusion of all disclosure heretofore, the present invention really has innovative novelty beyond the obviousness of the prior arts with expected industrial practical application value, which meets the basic criterion of the patentability. Accordingly, we submit the patent application for your examination with expectation being granted a patent, which will be greatly appreciated by us. However, all the disclosure heretofore is only a preferred exemplary embodiment, which is not intended for confining the range of our claims. Therefore, any equivalent change, alteration and modification, which does not departs from the scope and nature of our disclosure, should be deemed as within the range and scope of the claims in the present invention.
