Bath Genie

A multi-use washcloth made for retaining a bar of soap or shower gel for use in the bath or shower and assist the user from dropping the soap bar and wastage of the soap. Furthermore it can be used as an ice pack, and cosmetic bag. The washcloth is fabricated from soft porous and flexible cut into predetermined lengths and widths and stitched together on three sides and open fourth end forming a simple bag. At the opening of the bag a hook-and-loop fasteners are stitched to the two sides of the open ends. Hence it helps to retain the products (such as soap bar, shower gel, ice and cosmetics) whenever the wash cloth is being used in the various ways.

FIELD OF CREATION

This creation relates to a multi-use washcloth primarily used for dispensing soap bar or liquid shower gel when used in bath or shower. It can also be used as an ice pack, and cosmetic bag

BACKGROUND OF CREATION

Most often when taking a shower the soap slips from your hand causing you to bend down to retrieve it which can cause an accidental fall that may cause injury. Furthermore the soap when left in the shower is often melts and become of little use.

It is useful for people with impaired hands that may have been caused by arthritis or similar disabilities, while handling wet soap while bathing. The soap may remain in the bag or be removed after use. The portability of the multi-use washcloth makes useful as an ice-pack or cosmetic bag.

DESCRIPTION OF CREATION

This idea of a portable soap holder and combination multi-use washcloth was conceived after hearing of relatives and friends injuring themselves while trying to retrieve dropped soap in the shower. The soap holder retains the bar of soap within the washcloth which makes it portable and convenient.

The creation is made from porous, soft and flexible cotton material The multi-use washcloth is a four sided strapless bag with hook-and-loop fasteners. It is easy to close and open by pulling the top ends together or apart.

This creation saves money by reducing the wastage of soap and helps avoid accidental injury.

SPECIFICATIONS

With reference to the drawings, a multi-use washcloth 4 is illustrated in FIG. 1. The multi-use washcloth of claim 1 is made of cotton material that is soft, porous and flexible that can produce generous amounts of lather.

The multi-use washcloth 4 is constructed similar to a four sided bag with one side open and the other three sides stitched resembling a simple bag. It is cut in predetermined lengths and widths and stitched together (stitches 8 FIG. 1) on three sides 5 forming a bag with a large pocket 11 at the top. FIG. 2

Hook-and-loop fasteners (loop 6 and hook 7) FIG. 2 is stitched along the edges of the bag opening 11. This strip of hook-and-loop fasteners, servers as fastener for closing the bag opening 11 when in use.

The upper portion of multi-use washcloth 4 edge 9 and edge 10 are stitched equal-distance on the two sides of the opening 11

It can be seen that the present multi-use washcloth 4 has the advantage of providing a relatively simple, portable and inexpensively fabricated multi-use washcloth 4 adapted to receive various products (such as soap bar, shower gel, ice and cosmetics) which will make the product desirable for various purposes The present multi-use washcloth 4 is fabricated from a material that makes it adaptive for the various uses. The present multi-use washcloth 4 may, of course, be carried out in other specific ways than those herein set forth without departing from the spirit and essential characteristics of such claims. The present embodiments are, therefore, to be considered in all respects as illustrative and not restrictive, and all changes coming within the meaning and equivalency range of the appended claims are intended to be embraced therein.

Claims

1. The multi-use washcloth is made to receive various products (such as soap bar, shower gel, ice and cosmetics). It is four sided bag with one side open and the other three sides stitched resembling a simple bag. The open end has on its center hook-and-loop fasteners to enable users to store the materials according to the desired use. The two remaining sides are stitched similar to the other three sides of the bag.

2. The multi-use washcloth of claim 1 is made of cotton material that is soft, porous and flexible that can produce generous amounts of lather.

3. The multi-use washcloth of claim 2 can be used over and over again for whatever use defined in claim 1.
