Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to a clothes hanging stand device, particularly to a clothes hanging stand device in which variable and expandable hanging space for apparel is provided by simple operation, and quick assembling and disassembling is achieved between the members, and storing space-saving effect is obtained after collapsing.

2. Brief Description of the Prior Art

Generally, hanging stand for indoor hanging of apparels for storing or outdoor hanging of apparels for sun-drying should meet the demand of sufficient hanging space. In order to meet the consumer's demand, conventional clothes hanging stand has the design of two levels which can provide bigger hanging space for apparels. However, this conventional clothes hanging stand, capable of hanging apparels with short-length only, fails to be used for hanging one-piece apparel or longer overcoat. Although, there is a conventional design of clothes hanging stand with open full height used for hanging one-piece apparel or longer overcoat, it is however waste hanging space for it to hang apparels with short-length.

As shown in FIG. 6, a Taiwanese New Utility Patent No. M291766 entitled “Improved Clothes Hanging Stand” discloses a clothes hanging stand comprising: a main body (10′) having a base (11′) and a pair of vertical tube (12′) mounted on the base (11′); a pair of telescopic tube (13′) received respectively within the pair of vertical tube (12′), which can extend or contract with respect to the vertical tube (12′); a transverse rod (14′) fixed on the top ends of the pair of telescopic tube (13′), and both ends of the transverse rod (14′) receive respectively an extending tube (141′) which can extend outward; a hanging portion (20′) having a pair of fixing member (21′) mounted respectively on the pair of vertical tube (12′), and a connecting rod (23′) with both ends being detachably connected to the pair of fixing member (21′) by a pair of coupling member. This conventional clothes hanging stand provides a flexible clothes hanging space, but it takes a lot of space when not in use. In addition, there are some defects present in use which needs to be improved.

Additionally, a collapsible hanging stand as shown in FIGS. 7A and 7B proposed in Taiwanese New Utility Patent No. M291429 entitled “Collapsible structure of Clothes Hanging Stand” mainly comprises: a hanging stand (10″) having a transverse rod (11″) the both ends of which receive respectively an extension rod (14″) extending outward, and the ends of the extension rod (14″) are supported respectively on the top ends of a pair of support rod (13″) via a coupler (12″); a pair of connection seat (20″) the main bodies (21″) of which have respectively a tube portion integrally formed at the centers for the penetrating of the pair of support rod (13″) and the fastening of the same by the fastening screws provided on the side walls, and groove segments are formed respectively on the left and the right sides of the main bodies (21″). Two support stands (30″), each having a pair of support rod (31″), the upper ends of which are hinged in the groove segments via a pin for relative angular rotation with each other. The lower ends of the pair of support rod (31″) have respectively a coupler (32″) and a wheel (34″), and a connecting rod (33″) is connected between each coupler (32″) and the concerned opposite coupler (32″).

The above prior art provides collapsible function, however, it is confined in the function of shrinking the height relative to the support rod (13″) and the width with respect to the support stands (30″). When not in use, it still takes a lot of space. Therefore, improvement is expected in usage and design.

The main object of this invention is to provide a clothes hanging stand device which can improve the defects of fixed hanging space and space-occupying when not in use of conventional clothes hanging stand.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In order to achieve the above and other objects, the clothes hanging stand device of the present invention has a hanging space formed by a pair of vertical stand and several frame etc. The vertical stands are arranged oppositely facing with each other, and each vertical stand includes a vertically oriented frame and a pair of support, and a 3-direction coupler is used to connect among them for extending or contracting relatively. Each vertically oriented frame is provided with a 2-direction coupler on the top end. The horizontally oriented frame formed by the serial connection of a multi-segment connecting rod and an extending rod is connected between the mutually opposite 2-direction couplers and the horizontally oriented frame is telescopic and collapsible. A shelf stand includes a suspending rod suspending from the horizontally oriented frame and a connecting rod connecting to the vertically oriented frame, both are orthogonal to each other. The movement of a telescopic rod with respect to the connecting rod enables the space defined by the suspending rod and the connecting rod to be enlarged or contracted such that a full height hang space at one side and a two-level hanging space at the other side for apparels are respectively formed.

According to the clothes hanging stand device of the present invention, when the shelf stand is in contracted state, a two-level hanging space is formed at one side which is used to hang apparels with short length; and a full height hanging space is formed at the other side which is used to hang one-piece apparel or longer overcoat. The expanding of the shelf stand can provide a full width two-level hanging space for apparels. Alternatively, the removal of the shelf stand can provide a full height clothes hanging space. Furthermore, the hanging space can be further expanded to the outside of the pair of the vertical stand by the extension of an extending rod of the horizontal oriented frame.

According to the clothes hanging stand device of the present invention, a quick assembling and disassembling structure is formed among the vertically oriented frame of the vertical stand, the support and the 3-direction coupler, which can be collapsed to form a bundle simply by the releasing of a retention pin. A flexible cord is connected between the connecting rod of the horizontal oriented frame and end portion of the connecting rod, and a slidable sleeve is inserted onto the outside of the connecting rods. If the sleeve is slided away from the abutment portion of the connecting rods to one side, relatively collapsed state between the connecting rods, and between the connecting rod and the vertically oriented frame can be easily achieved. Further, the shelf stand is in hooked relationship with the 3-direction coupler, the vertically oriented frame and the horizontally oriented frame. The suspending rod and the connecting rod can be relatively collapsed by simply detaching the hooking among them. In this manner, a quick assembling and disassembling structure among the components can be formed such that the assembling and disassembling can be completed within one minute. Additionally, the whole device after collapse occupies little volume space for easy store-up.

Firstly referring to FIGS. 1 to 4 apparently showing different views of the device 1 of the present invention, the clothes hanging stand device 1 of the present invention mainly has a pair of vertical stand 10 oppositely facing with each other and at least one frame 20 connecting said pair of vertical stand 20 so as to form a clothes hanging space which is used, for example, for hanging or sun-drying of apparels. Each vertical stand 10 includes a vertically oriented frame 101 and a pair of support 102, and a 3-direction coupler 11 is used to connect among them, as shown in FIG. 1A, for extending or contracting relatively. Each vertically oriented frame 101 is provided with a 2-direction coupler 12 on the top end. The horizontally oriented frame 20, formed by the serial connection of a multi-segment connecting rod 201 and an extending rod 202, is connected between the two mutually opposite 2-direction couplers 12 and the horizontally oriented frame 20 is telescopic and collapsible. A shelf stand 30 includes a suspending rod 301 suspending from the horizontally oriented frame 20, and a connecting rod 302 connecting to the vertically oriented frame 101, both are orthogonal to each other. The movement of a telescopic rod 303 with respect to the connecting rod 302 enables the space defined by the suspending rod 301 and the connecting rod 302 to be enlarged or contracted such that a full height hang space at one side, and a two-level clothes hanging space at the other side are respectively formed.

According to the present invention, the vertically oriented frame 101 and the pair of support 102 are preferably made of circular tube material. The 3-direction coupler 11, as shown in FIGS. 4D to 4G, is formed in such a manner that the main body is a semi-closed trapezoidal shape with the lower bottom face 111 being opened. The two inclined planes 112 and the top face 113 are formed into circular curved shape. Each support 102 is inserted from this lower bottom face 111 and leans on the inside of the two inclined planes 112, and the top end is anchored respectively by a rivet 114 in such a manner that each support 102 can pivot about the rivet (114). The top face 113 of the 3-direction coupler 11 has a through hole 113a at its center through which the vertically oriented frame 101 is inserted for extending and contracting movement. A positioning slider 115 with trapezoidal shape is fixed on the lower end of the vertically oriented frame 101. Two inclined planes of the slider 115 are correspondingly formed into concaved shape portions 115a. A retention pin 116 biased internally, is provided at a fixed point above the positioning slider 115. When the vertically oriented frame 101 conducts extending movement, the positioning slider 115 expands the pair of support 102 to abut against the inside of the two inclined planes 112 of the 3-direction coupler 11. When the positioning slider 115 reaches its positioning point, the retention pin 116 forms a stable stop just outside the through hole 113a of the 3-direction coupler 11. When the stop action of the retention pin 116 is released to cause contracting movement of the vertically oriented frame 101, the positioning slider 115 release the abutment of the pair of support 102 with the 3-direction coupler 11 such that the three elements can be collapsed into a bundle. Corresponding to the retention pin 116, a guiding portion 117 with projecting-nose shape is provided on one side of the lower bottom face 113 for easy guiding of retention pin 116. In this manner, a quick assembling and disassembly structure is formed.

According to the present invention, the horizontal oriented frame 20 includes a pair of hollow connecting rod 201 connected with each other at the inner ends by a flexible cord 203 pre-biased with a stretched force so as to form a collapsible structure, as shown in FIG. 5. A slidable sleeve 204 is inserted on the outside between the inner ends of the hollow connecting rods 201. An engaging hook 201a is provided respectively at a fixed point of the inner end of each hollow connecting rods 201, and correspondingly a pair of engaging groove 204a is provided at both ends of the sleeve 204. By the engagement of the engaging hook 201 with the engaging groove 204a, the sleeve 204 can firmly connect the pair of connecting rod 201, as shown in FIG. 4A. Therefore, a quick assembling and disassembly structure is formed. On the other hand, the outer ends of the pair of connecting rod 201 are respectively supported by the 2-direction couplers 12 provided at the top ends of the above vertically oriented frames 101. As shown in FIG. 3A, the 2-direction couplers 12 has a fixed connecting portion 12a and a movable connecting portion 12b in vertical direction. The outer ends of the pair of connecting rod 201 are respectively fixed on the fixed connecting portion 12a, and the top ends of the vertically oriented frames 101 are respectively anchored on the movable connecting portion 12b by a rivet 121 such that the pair of connecting rod 201 and the vertically oriented frames 101 are relatively collapsible. Further, extending rods 202 are respectively received at the outer ends of the pair of connecting rod 201, which can penetrate through the 2-direction couplers 12 and extend outward. Therefore, the clothes hanging space can be further expanded to the outside of the pair of vertical stand 10 according to demand.

According to the present invention, the upper end of the suspending rod 301 of the shelf stand 30 forms a hook portion 301a which is hooked onto the connecting rod 201 of the horizontal oriented frame 20, as shown in FIG. 3A, the lower end is anchored on the movable connecting portion 12b of the 2-direction coupler 12, as shown in FIG. 4B. An abutting portion 302a is provided at one end of the connecting rod 302 to abut against the outside of the vertically oriented frame 101, and a hooking portion 302b is hooked on the top face 113 of the 3-direction coupler 11, as shown in FIGS. 2A and 3B. Additionally, the other end of the connecting rod 302 is hollow and receives a telescopic rod 303. The end of telescopic rod 303 is fixed on the fixed connecting portion 12a of the 2-direction coupler 12a such that the suspending rod 301 and the connecting rod 302 can be relatively collapsed, as shown in FIG. 4B. In this manner, a quick assembling and disassembly structure is formed.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, each bottom end of the pair of support 102 is connected with a 2-direction coupler 12. A horizontal oriented frame 40 is connected between a 2-direction coupler 12 at one end and the opposite 2-direction coupler 12 at the other end. The horizontal oriented frame 40 has a pair of connector rod 401 connected with each other at the inner ends by a flexible cord 403 pre-biased with a stretched force so as to form a collapsible structure, as shown in FIG. 5. A slidable sleeve 404 is inserted on the outside between the inner ends of the hollow connecting rods 401. An engaging hook 401a is provided respectively at a fixed point of the inner end of each connecting rods 401, and correspondingly a pair of engaging groove 404a is provided at both ends of the sleeve 404. By the engagement of the engaging hook 401 with the engaging groove 404a, the sleeve 404 can firmly connect the pair of connecting rod 401, as shown in FIG. 4C. Therefore, a quick assembling and disassembly structure is formed. On the other hand, the outer ends of the pair of connecting rod 401 are respectively fixed at the fixed connecting portion 12a of the 2-direction couplers 12, while the bottom ends of the pair of support 102 are anchored respectively on the movable connecting portion 12b of the 2-direction couplers 12 by a rivet 121 so as to form a collapsible structure between them. A castor 103 is provided at the bottom end of each 2-direction couplers 12, as shown in FIG. 3C, so as to increase the mobility of the clothes hanging stand device 1 for apparel 1.

As shown in FIG. 5, when setting up the clothes hanging stand device 1, user extends the vertically oriented frame 101 firstly such that the pair of support 102 is expanded by the positioning slider 115 at the lower end. At the same time, the retention pin 116 is guided by the guiding portion 117 of the 3-direction coupler 11 to reach final position directly so that the vertical stand 10 are set into final place. Next, the distance between the pair of the vertical stand 10 is stretched out such that the inner ends of the connecting rods 201 of the horizontal oriented frame 20 are aligned automatically by the action of the tension force pre-biased in the flexible cord 203. Similarly, the inner ends of the connecting rods 401 of the horizontal oriented frame 40 are aligned automatically by the action of the tension force pre-biased in the flexible cord 403. User only moves the middle portion of the sleeve 204, 404 to the abutment portion of the connecting rods 201, 401 such that the engaging hooks 201a, 401a of the connecting rods 201, 401 engages respectively with the engaging grooves 204a, 404a on the sleeves 204, 404. In this manner, the clothes hanging stand device 1 is set up into final position. Finally, the suspending rod 301 of the shelf stand 30 is hooked onto the horizontal oriented frame 20 and the connecting rod 302 is hooked onto the 3-direction coupler 11 and the vertically oriented frame 101 to complete the set-up. When the clothes hanging stand device 1 is to be stored up, the shelf stand 30 is firstly removed from the 3-direction coupler 12, the vertically oriented frame 101 and the horizontally oriented frame 20 and then the suspending rod 301 and the connecting rod 302 are relatively collapsed. Then the retention pins 116 at the lower ends of the vertically oriented frames 101 are released such that the vertically oriented frames 101 are contracted and collapsed with the pair of support 102 into bundle. Finally, the engaging hooks 201a, 401a on the connecting rods 201,401 of the horizontal oriented frames 20,40 are released, and the sleeves 204, 404 are moved away to one side so that the connecting rods 201, 401 are collapsed with the other the connecting rods 201,401. In this manner, the whole clothes hanging stand device 1 can be collapsed into a bundle such that the volume of the whole unit is minimized.
