Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to a raincoat, particularly to one quite convenient to wear, quickly foldable and multi-functional at the same time.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Common raincoats can generally be classified into two kinds, one piece of cloak style and two pieces of one coat and one trouser style. Traditional raincoats of two pieces are troublesome to put on, while cloak-style ones are quick to wear on and time-saving, but it rather takes time in folding up. Moreover, if it is wet, the raincoat has to be left to dry before it is folded. Otherwise, raindrops may drip down from it, drenching the floor. Besides, it may grow bacteria in case it is put away in a wet condition, causing unhygienic problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This invention has been devised to offer a raincoat easy to wear and fold and having multi-functions.

The features of the invention are a main body made of transparent plastic and consisting of two hiding members connected to each other, a head cover connected to an upper side of the two hiding members, a flexible strip provided around an outer circumference of the two hiding members, plural uniting members provided at a front side and a rear side of the hiding members, and plural stabilizing members provided on an inner surface of the hiding members.

FIG. 8 is a perspective view of a third preferred embodiment of a raincoat under a used condition in the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

A raincoat in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, includes a main body 1 made of transparent plastic and consisting of two hiding members 11 and 12, a head cover 13 and a carrying bag 17.

The head cover 13 is made of a soft material, and connected at a connected section of an upper portion of the two hiding members 11 and 12 to be worn on a head of a user.

The two hiding members 11 and 12 are respectively provided with a flexible circumferential strip 14, and plural uniting members 15 made of zippers are attached at front side and a rear side. Further, plural stabilizing members 16 made of Velcro bands are attached at various locations on an inner surface of the hiding members 11 and 12.

The carrying bag 17 is connected with an outer side of either of the hiding members 11 and 12 for holding therein the raincoat after folded up.

In using, referring to FIGS. 1-4, a user only places the two hiding members 11 and 12 respectively at two sides of the user and a motorbike, with the head cover 13 laid on the head of the user. Then the two hiding members 11 and 12 are combined with each other by pulling together the uniting members 15 (zippers) of both the hiding members 11 and 12. After that, the stabilizing members 16 are attached around the arms and two sides of the motorbike, positioning stably the hiding members 11 and 12 at two sides of the user and the motorbike. In this way, the raincoat can hide both the user and the motorbike at the same time. Moreover, the carrying bag 17 is located at the rear side of the raincoat between the two hiding members 11 and 12, preventing raindrops from flowing inside the hiding members 11 and 12.

In folding, referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, the uniting members 15 (zippers) are pulled open, and the two hiding members 11 and 12 are overlapped each other, lest raindrops on an outer side of them would flow to an inner side of them. The two hiding members 11 and 12 are made of plastic so that their surfaces are flat, glossy, and easy to let raindrops vibrated to fall off the hiding members quickly. Or raindrops can easily be wiped off the hiding members 11 and 12, which can be twisted to become a small circle by means of the flexible strips 14, possible to be folded up without delay, and then put in the carrying bag 17 to be carried around conveniently.

Next, a second preferred embodiment of the invention, as shown in FIG. 7, has almost the same structure as the first one, except that the head cover 13 and the carrying bag 17 are not included. So it also includes two hiding members 11 and 12, a flexible strip 14 around the outer circumference of the hiding members 11 and 12, plural uniting members 15 made of zippers attached around the front side and a rear side of the hiding members 11 and 12, a plurality of stabilizing members 16. And those components function just as those in the first embodiment.

In using the second embodiment of raincoat, the two hiding members 11 and 12 are placed at two sides of a user and a motorbike, with the uniting members 15 are pulled together, and with the stabilizing members 16 attached around the arms of the user and some parts of the motorbike, keeping the two hiding members stabilized at two sides of the user and the motorbike. As the main body 1 is transparent, it does not hinder eyesight of the user.

In addition, the raincoat can be used for hiding a person only, instead of being used for both a person and a motorbike as described above. It is illustrated in FIG. 8, and the two hiding members 11 and 12 can be united together by handling the uniting members 15, adjusting the extent of closing the uniting members 15 according to the falling condition of rain or according to the necessity of a user.

Moreover, the raincoat can be added with light reflecting strips on the surface of the two hiding members 11 and 12 to achieve warning effect for safety, if necessary.

While the invention has been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the scope and spirit of the invention.
