DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Hereinafter, a head cover and a helmet according to preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

A head cover according to one preferred embodiment of the present invention is schematically illustrated in FIG. 3.

As shown in FIG. 3, the head cover 1406 is made of air-mesh materials, and the upper surface thereof is curvedly formed to fit the upper surface of the user's head. The air-mesh material is well known art, and it has a structure in which its upper and lower surfaces having a honeycomb shape are supported by very thin threads. The head cover 1406 is provided with a sweat absorbing member 1408 for absorbing the sweat appeared on the user's forehead on the front side thereof, and it also provided with a hooking member 1410 which will be hooked the helmet on the front side thereof to be closely contacted with the sweat absorbing member 1408. The hooking member 1410 is formed with a plurality of hooking holes h1. The sweat absorbing member 1408 and the hooking member 1410 will be sewn onto the circumference of the head cover 1406 when the circumference of the head cover 1406 is covered. The sweat absorbing member 1408 is washable, and it is made of cotton towel like to well absorb the sweat. The hooking member 1410 is made of soft plastic like to maintain even slight rigidity.

A helmet applied with the head cover in FIG. 3 is schematically illustrated in FIG. 4.

As shown in FIG. 4, the helmet 1400 according to this embodiment comprises an outer cover 1402, a band member 1404, the head cover 1406, the sweat absorbing member 1408 and the hooking member 1410.

The outer cover 1402 is manufactured with rigid materials such as polycarbonate based or metal based so as to protect the user's head.

The band member 1404 is mounted in the outer cover 1402 to protect that outer for is directly transferred to the head and it is adjustably manufactured to fit the shape of the user's head. This band member 1404 is comprised of a head band 1404a and a circumference band 1404b.

The head band 1404a is installed in the outer cover 1402 to protect that the outer force given to the outer cover 1402 is directly transferred to the user's head, and the circumference band 1404b is connected to the head band 1404a to be adjustable to fit the shape of the user's head.

The head cover 1406 is positioned in the head band 1404a. The sweat absorbing member 1408 provided front of the head cover 1406 is positioned rear of the circumference band 1404b, whereas the hooking member 1410 is positioned front of the circumference band 1404b. The plurality of hooking holes h1 formed on the hooking member 1410 are respectively hooked into a plurality of hooking protrusions 1404b1 formed front of the circumference band 1404b.

Like this, the helmet 1400 of this embodiment can further enhance the coupling between the band member 1404 and the head cover 1406 since the plurality of hooking holes h1 formed on the hooking member 1410 are respectively hooked into the plurality of hooking protrusions 1404b1 formed on the circumference band 1404b.

A head cover according to another preferred embodiment of the present invention is schematically illustrated in FIG. 5.

As shown in FIG. 5, the head cover 1406 according to this embodiment is substantially identical with the head cover 1406 shown in FIG. 3. However, it has a difference in which a pair of attaching means 1612 and 1614 such as hook and fasteners are provided on the front lower portion of the sweat absorbing member 1408 and the hooking member 1410, respectively. The lower portion of the sweat absorbing member 1408 is fold and then the pair of attaching means 1612 and 1614 are attached from each other.

FIG. 6 is a sectional view schematically illustrating

A helmet applied with the head cover in FIG. 5 is schematically illustrated in FIG. 6.

As shown in FIG. 6, the helmet 1600 according to this embodiment comprises the outer cover 1402, the band member 1404, the head cover 1406, the sweat absorbing member 1408 and the hooking member 1410 like the helmet 1400 shown in FIG. 4, and their structure is substantially same. Therefore, the explanation for them is not done to avoid repetition.

However, in this embodiment, the plurality of hooking holes h1 formed on the hooking member 1410 are respectively hooked into a plurality of hooking protrusions 1404b1 formed front of the circumference band 1404b, and then the sweat absorbing member 1408 is fold to cover the bend member 1404 and positioned the front lower portion of the hooking member 1410, which allows the pair of attaching means 1612 and 1614 provided on the sweat absorbing member 1408 and the hooking member 1410 are attached from each other.

Like this, the helmet 1600 of this embodiment can further enhance the coupling between the band member 1404 and the head cover 1406 since the band member 1404 and the head cover 1406 are attached from each other by means of the pair of attaching means 1612 and 1614.

A head cover according to still another preferred embodiment of the present invention is schematically illustrated in FIG. 7.

As shown in FIG. 7, the head cover 1106 according to this embodiment is detachably provided with a sweat absorbing member 1108 unlike the head cover 1406 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, and it is not provided with a hooking member.

The head cover 1106 and the sweat absorbing member 1108 are provided with a pair of attaching means 1106a and 1108a such as hook and fasteners on one side thereof. The head cover 1106 and the sweat absorbing member 1108 may be easily attached to or detached from each other by means of the pair of attaching means 1106a and 1108a.

A helmet applied with the head cover in FIG. 7 is schematically illustrated in FIG. 8.

As shown in FIG. 8, the helmet 1100 according to this embodiment comprises an outer cover 902, a band member 904, the head cover 1106 and the sweat absorbing member 1108 like the helmet 1400 shown in FIG. 4, and their structure is substantially same. Therefore, the explanation for them is not done to avoid repetition.

The head cover 1106 is positioned in the band member 904. The sweat absorbing member 1108 attached front of the head cover 1106 is positioned rear of the circumference band 904b and its end portion is fold and then inserted in a space formed front of the circumference band 904b.

Although the preferred embodiment of the present invention have been described, it is understood that the present invention should not be limited to this preferred embodiment but various changes and modifications can be made by one skilled in the art within the spirit and scope of the present invention aimed.
