Thimble Warrior Game

A toy for children comprising a thimble fitted to the thumb of the player with a shaped figure of a warrior on top of the thimble, enabling a method of new game. The game is played by two opponent players, each player places a thimble with a warrior on his thumb, both player holding their hands with the rest of the fingers so the thumb with the warrior is free to contest the other opponent warrior. The purpose of the game is to bring down the opponents' warriors and gaining the higher score. The game includes a serial of different warriors attached to a thimble, each warrior has a different score. The player chooses his warriors according to the theme they represent for him and according to the warrior score, the higher the score of the warrior, the higher possibility to gain a higher score and win the game.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention is in the field of games for children and in particular a toy with a shaped warrior on a thimble to be placed on the thumbs enabling a method of a contest game between two opponent players.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Modernization and technological advance created a situation that children today spend a vast of time watching television or playing the computer. Many games are for one player, therefore, children are becoming less social, less cooperative and communal and more isolated and independent. Our society needs more games enabling children to play with their friend, considering the nature of children it is preferably to be a game with a contest and a target to win. This invention reveals a toy enabling a game to be played by at least two children with a target and a calculation system, improving the child thought process, but easy enough for him to handle.

Another object of this game is that it is a pocket game being able to be carried and taken everywhere the child wants. The option of the toy being produced and sold in a line of serials were each serial have a different theme, makes it more attracting and appealing to the children eyes

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is to be understood that both the foregoing general description and the following detailed description present embodiments of the invention and are intended to provide an overview or framework for understanding the nature and character of the invention as it is claimed.

The invention reveals a toy for children on the ages of 4 to 12 comprising a thimble fitted to the thumb of the child with a shaped figure of a warrior on top of the thimble. The toy can comes in serials of around 8-10 different warriors in each serial. Every serial can be of a different issue as for example: policemen and thief, soldiers of different countries, dinosaurs, monsters, and any other kind of warriors, appealing to children.

Each package might include two thimbles and 8-10 different warriors that can be attached to and removable from the thimbles. Alternatively, each package might include 8-10 thimbles with a fixed attached warrior on each thimble. The game is played by two opponents players, each player chooses the warriors he likes. The players place the thimbles with the warriors on their thumbs, holding their hands together with the rest of the fingers, hand against hand, while only the fingers are holding, the rest of the hand is strait, and the thumbs are rising up ready with the warriors for the battle. After an agreed signal the game starts, and the players trying to bring down the opponent warrior from their contests' thumbs. The rule is that the players are not allowed to separate their holding hands until one of the warriors is brought down.

When one warrior is brought down the player who won scores points. There could be few optional ways to calculate those points. The basic and the easiest way for younger children is that each round credits the winner with one point. Alternatively, each warrior has a different score registered on his thimble and the points are calculating according to both warriors' scores. To add more thinking challenge there is an option to add before the score on each warrior one of the arithmetic operation as addition, subtraction, multiplication or division, and the calculation will be accordingly.

After one round is over the players might choose either to place the same warriors on their thimbles again or to choose different warriors, with different score, and the battle starts again.

The winner is the one that gain the highest number of points.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

As will be appreciated the present invention is capable of other and different embodiments than those discussed above and described in more detail below, and its several details are capable of modifications in various aspects, all without departing from the spirit of the invention. Accordingly, the drawings and description of the embodiments set forth below are to be regarded as illustrative in nature and not restrictive.

FIG. 1 shows a thimble 100 fit to be placed on a thumb with a shaped figure of a warrior 110 attached to the top of the thimble 100. To make the game more interesting and involving more thinking, a package that includes few thimbles with a fixed attached warrior 110 on each thimble, might have different score for each warrior that would be written on the side of the thimble 120. The points than are calculating according to both warriors' scores. To add more thinking challenge there is an option to add next to the score on each thimble one of the arithmetic operation 130 as for example: addition, subtraction, multiplication or division, and the calculation will be accordingly.

FIG. 2 shows a thimble 200 fit to be placed on a thumb with a shaped figure of a warrior 210 that can be attached to the top of the thimble 200 by a connecting means 220 and be removed when the player want to replace the warrior. A package, than might include two thimbles and 8-10 different warriors that can be attached to and removable from the thimbles. The score of each warrior might be written on the thimble 230 or on the warrior itself 240.

FIG. 3 shows a plan view of a thimble 200 to be placed on a thumb with a screwing mechanism on the top of the thimble 250, enabling to attach and remove different warriors, according to the will of the player.

FIG. 4 shows the position of the hands of the player while playing the game. After the players placing the thimbles with the warriors 100 on their thumbs 300, the players holding their hands together with the rest of the fingers 310, hand against hand, while only the fingers are holding. The hands are placed strait and horizontal to the floor 320, and the thumbs 300 are rising up ready with the warriors for the battle.

Claims

1. A toy of warriors on thimbles enabling a method of game comprising the following steps:

a. The game is played by two opponent players,
b. each player places on his thumb a warrior, said warrior comprising i. a thimble fitted to be placed on the thumb of said player. ii. a figure shaped as a warrior attached and fixed on said thimble.
c. said players hold their hands together by the rest of their fingers, hand against hand, while only said fingers are holding, the hands are strait and horizontal to the floor, and said thumbs are rising up ready with said warriors for the battle.
d. after an agreed signal the game starts,
e. target of said game is to bring down the said warrior of the said opponent players' thumb,
f. the rule is that said players are not allowed to separate their holding hands until one of the warriors is brought down.
g. the said player who brought down his opponent warrior is gaining the score.
h. said players either placing the same warriors on their thumbs again or choosing different warriors and repeating c to g,
i. the winner is the one that gains the highest number of points.

2. A toy of warriors on thimbles enabling a method of game as claimed in claim 1 wherein said toy is coming in package of serial warriors. Said package includes at least four thimbles with different warriors attached to said thimbles. Said serials can be of a different issue as policemen and thief, soldiers of different countries, dinosaurs, monsters and any other kind of warriors.

3. A toy of warriors on thimbles enabling a method of game as claimed in claim 2 wherein each warrior has different score written on his thimble. Calculation of points in each round for said player who brought down his opponent warrior is according to the score of said warriors participated on said round.

4. A toy of warriors on thimbles enabling method of game as claimed in claim 3 wherein arithmetic operation as addition, subtraction, multiplication or division is written on the thimble before the score of each warrior. Calculation of points would be accordingly.

5. A toy of warriors on thimbles enabling a method of game comprising the following steps:

a. The game is played by two opponent players,
b. each player places on his thumb a warrior, said warrior comprising i. a thimble fitted to be placed on the thumb of said player. ii. a figure shaped as a warrior. iii. connecting means enabling to attach and remove said figure shaped as a warrior to said thimble.
c. said players hold their hands together by the rest of their fingers, hand against hand, while only said fingers are holding, the hands are strait and horizontal to the floor, and said thumbs are rising up ready with said warriors for the battle.
d. after an agreed signal the game starts,
e. target of said game is to bring down the said warrior of the said opponent players' thumb,
f. the rule is that said players are not allowed to separate their holding hands until one of the warriors is brought down.
g. the said player who brought down his opponent warrior is gaining the score.
h. said players either placing the same warriors on their said thimbles again or choosing different warriors and repeating c to g,
i. the winner is the one that gains the highest number of points.

6. A toy of warriors on thimbles enabling a method of game as claimed in claim 5 wherein said toy is coming in package of serial warriors. Said package includes two thimbles and at least four different figures shaped as warriors that can be attached to and removed from said thimbles. Said serials can be of a different issue as for example: policemen and thief, soldiers of different countries, dinosaurs, monsters and any other kind of warriors.

7. A toy of warriors on thimbles enabling a method of game as claimed in claim 6 wherein each warrior has different score written on his shaped figure. Calculation of points in each round for said player who brought down his opponent warrior is according to the score of said warriors participated on said round.

8. A toy of warriors on thimbles enabling method of game as claimed in claim 7 wherein arithmetic operation as addition, subtraction, multiplication or division is written on said figure shaped warrior before the score of each warrior. Calculation of points would be accordingly.
