BACKGROUND ART

As is generally known in the art, in a man's body structure, the penis and the scrotum project from the crotch, and underpants are worn to protect the penis and the scrotum.

The underpants are made of a material capable of absorbing sweat to protect the private parts as well as improve the hygiene of the private parts.

The conventional man's underpants comprise an underpants body for covering the front and rear sections of the lower part of the human body, a waist band for holding the underpants around the waist, and a pair of leg insertion openings which are defined on the lower end of the underpants body to allow the legs to pass therethrough. Due to this construction, the underpants can be easily worn on the human body.

However, the conventional man's underpants suffer from disadvantages in that the private parts including the penis and the scrotum, which are regarded as important organs of the human body, are compressed too tightly. Hence, because the private parts are positioned in a region in which a relatively large amount of sweat is generated, the private parts are likely to remain damp, bring about an unsanitary condition and being vulnerable to disease.

Therefore, in order to solve the disadvantages of the conventional man's underpants, sanitary underpants have recently been disclosed in the art, in which the private organs are kept separated by bands.

Nevertheless, in these sanitary underpants, because the penis and the scrotum project from the crotch due to the man's body structure, the penis and the scrotum are still compressed by the underpants and adhere closely to each other and to the lower part of the human body. As a result, although the degree to which the penis and the scrotum are brought together is decreased to some extent, the underpants do not improve the hygiene and health of the man wearing the underpants.

DISCLOSURE [Technical Problem]

Accordingly, the present invention has been made in an effort to solve the problems occurring in the related art, and an object of the present invention is to provide man's underpants for protection of the private parts, in which a scrotum pocket delimitation band is provided around a scrotum pocket formed on the frontal surface of an underpants body to receive the scrotum, thereby rendering contractibility to the scrotum pocket, the penis and the scrotum are separated from each other due to the elasticity of a penis pocket delimitation band, the outer cloth of a penis pocket is formed with cut-away portions so that the upper part of the penis pocket can be held close to the human body and the penis can be easily received in the lower part of the penis pocket, and a portion of the upper part of the outer cloth of the penis pocket is not stitched to the underpants body, thus being open and promoting ventilation of the inside space of the penis pocket, whereby the scrotum and the penis of the private parts are prevented from being brought into contact with each other and from being damp, and a wearer's sensation of wearing the underpants is improved.

BEST MODE

Reference will now be made in greater detail to a preferred embodiment of the invention, an example of which is illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference numerals will be used throughout the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts.

In man's underpants for protection of the private parts in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, an underpants body 1 made of a ventilating cloth covers a portion of the lower part of the human body, is provided with a waist band 2 to allow the underpants be held around the waist, and has leg insertion openings 3. A scrotum pocket 11 is formed on the frontal surface of the underpants body 1 to contractibly receive the scrotum, and a scrotum pocket delimitation band 12 having predetermined elasticity is provided around the scrotum pocket 11 such that wrinkles 14 are formed below the protruding part 13 of the scrotum pocket 11. A penis pocket 21 is coupled around the opening 15, which is defined on the upper end of the scrotum pocket 11 to receive the penis, and a penis pocket delimitation band 16 is provided around the penis pocket 21 to render contractibility to the penis pocket 21. A parabolic cut-away portion 23 is integrally formed on the inner cloth 22 of the penis pocket 21 coupled around the opening 15 of the scrotum pocket 11. A cut-away portion 24 is formed on the central lower end of the inner cloth 22 of the penis pocket 21 to define a lower end opening, so that, when both side portions of the inner cloth 22 are stitched, the cut edge of the cut-away portion 24 is naturally rounded due to the presence of the parabolic cut-away portion 23. The outer cloth 26 of the penis pocket 21 is defined with two transverse cut-away portions 27a and 27b and two longitudinal cut-away portions 28a and 28b, the facing cut-away edges of each cut-away portion are stitched together, and the outer cloth 26 is stitched to the underpants body 1 and the inner cloth 22, so that the upper part of the penis pocket 21 can come close to the human body, and curved portions 27 and 28 are naturally formed on the lower part of the penis pocket 21. When stitching the outer cloth 26 to the underpants body 1, a portion of the upper part of the outer cloth 26 of the penis pocket 21 is not stitched to the underpants body 1, thus defining a vent hole 29 and thereby promoting ventilation of the inside space of the penis pocket 21. A ring 30 is attached to the penis pocket delimitation band 16, and a plurality of hooks 31a, 31b and 31c are attached to the frontal surface of the scrotum pocket 11 along the longitudinally extending center line of the scrotum pocket 11, so that the ring 30 can be selectively hooked on one of the hooks 31a, 31b and 31c to naturally separate the scrotum pocket 11 from the underpants body 1. A ring 32 is attached to the lower end of the penis pocket 21, and a hook 33 is attached to the lower end of the scrotum pocket 11, so that the ring 32 can be hooked on the hook 33 to prevent the penis pocket 21 from projecting forward.

It is preferable that the protruding part 13 of the scrotum pocket 11 be formed of a mesh cloth to promote ventilation of the inside space of the scrotum pocket 11.

In the man's underpants for protection of the private parts in accordance with the embodiment of the present invention, constructed as mentioned above, the underpants body 1 covers the front and rear sections of the lower part of the human body. The underpants body 1 is provided with the waist band 2 which allows the underpants to be easily worn and held around the waist. The underpants body 1 has leg insertion openings 3. The man's underpants for protection of the private parts according to the present invention are formed in a manner such that the scrotum and the penis can be separated from the underpants body 1 and from each other.

The front surface of the underpants body 1 is formed as the protruding part 13. The scrotum pocket delimitation band 12 is coupled around the proximal end of the scrotum pocket 11 such that the wrinkles 14 are formed below the scrotum pocket 11, which can be formed of a mesh cloth as the occasion demands. By this fact, it is possible to contractibly hold the scrotum in the scrotum pocket 11 and to prevent the release of the scrotum from the scrotum pocket 11 even when a person lies down and conducts vigorous exercise, whereby the underpants can be reliably worn on the human body.

The penis pocket delimitation band 16 is provided around the opening 15 which is defined on the upper end of the scrotum pocket 11 so that the penis and the scrotum can be separated from each other by the elasticity of the penis pocket delimitation band 16. Therefore, the proximal end of the penis, which is received in the penis pocket 11 coupled around the opening 15, can be properly held therein, whereby the underpants can be reliably worn on the human body.

The inner cloth 22 of the penis pocket 21, which is integrally formed with the parabolic cut-away portion 23, is coupled around the opening 15 of the scrotum pocket 11.

The cut-away portion 24, which is formed on the central lower end of the inner cloth 22 of the penis pocket 21, defines the lower end opening. When both side portions of the inner cloth 22 are stitched, the cut edge of the cut-away portion 24 is naturally rounded due to the presence of the parabolic cut-away portion 23.

In the outer cloth 26 of the penis pocket 21, due to the presence of the two transverse cut-away portions 27a and 27b formed to be aligned with each other in a transverse direction, when the facing cut-away edges of each cut-away portion 27a and 27b are stitched together, the longitudinal dimension of the outer cloth 26 gradually decreases from the longitudinal center portion toward the left and right sides of the outer cloth 26 and thus curves inwards. Also, due to the presence of the two longitudinal cut-away portions 28a and 28b formed to be aligned with each other in a longitudinal direction, when the facing cut-away edges of each cut-away portion 28a and 28b are stitched together, the transverse dimension of the outer cloth 26 gradually decreases from the transverse center portion toward the upper and lower ends of the outer cloth 26 and thus curves inwards.

Due to the presence of the transverse cut-away portions 27a and 27b and the longitudinal cut-away portions 28a and 28b, which are formed in the outer cloth 26, when both sides of the outer cloth 26 are stitched to the underpants body 1 and the inner cloth 22, the upper part of the penis pocket 21 can be held close to the human body, and curved portions 27 and 28 are naturally formed on the lower part of the penis pocket 21.

When stitching the outer cloth 26 to the underpants body 1, a portion of the upper part of the outer cloth 26 of the penis pocket 21 is not stitched to the underpants body 1, thus defining the vent hole 29 and thereby promoting ventilation of the inside space of the penis pocket 21 and providing an aesthetic appearance.

Further, by selectively hooking the ring 30 attached to the penis pocket delimitation band 16 on one of the plurality of hooks 31a, 31b and 31c attached to the front surface of the scrotum pocket 11 along the longitudinally extending center line of the scrotum pocket 11, the scrotum pocket 11 can be kept raised and separated from the underpants body 1.

Also, by hooking the ring 32 attached to the lower end of the penis pocket 21 on the hook 33 attached to the lower end of the scrotum pocket 11, it is possible to prevent the penis pocket 21 from projecting forwards.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY

As is apparent from the above description, the man's underpants for protection of the private parts according to the present invention provide advantages in that a scrotum pocket delimitation band is provided around a scrotum pocket formed on the front surface of an underpants body to receive the scrotum, thereby rendering contractibility to the scrotum pocket, the penis and the scrotum are separated from each other due to the elasticity of a penis pocket delimitation band provided to the upper end of the scrotum pocket, the outer cloth of a penis pocket is formed with longitudinal and transverse cut-away portions so that, when the penis pocket is coupled to the underpants body, the upper part of the penis pocket can be held close to the human body and the penis can be easily received in the lower part of the penis pocket, and a portion of the upper part of the outer cloth of the penis pocket is not stitched to the underpants body, thus being open and thereby promoting ventilation of the inside space of the penis pocket, whereby the scrotum and the penis of the private parts are prevented from being brought into contact with each other and from becoming damp, and a wearer's sensation of wearing the underpants is improved.
