Description

The subject of invention is the heater, especially for central heating. There are known heaters for central heating systems, which are build from segments; called ribs, joined into sets (by hydraulic connectors) conditioned by thermal power required for every room. The heating agent is being distributed to and from the heater in a liquid state. In most cases the inlet of the heating agent is located in the upper part of the heater and the outlet in the lower part. Such solution is used in gravitational systems. There are, also known heaters with inlet and outlet of the the heating agent located in the lower part. In the newest technical solutions the inlet and outlet of the heating agent are located in the floor. It is dictated by aesthetics. There are also known tabular heaters created by heating together two profiled half trunks/bodies.

From the polish patent's description No. 180338 there is known heater for central heating consisted of the casing closed by frontal wall and heating inset placed inside. The housing, cuboid in shape made by permanent connection between rear wall, air exhaust and side walls passing in the frontal part into batten with attachments for mounting the frontal wall. Heating inset created by sets consisting of two pipes connected by arch, where the sets are fixed one above the other.

From the publication WO96/28696 is known heating device with a tubular heater implemented with parallel manifolds connected with stretched between them parallel heating pipes as well as inlet and outlet. In this solution, the inlet and outlet is protected by a cover, which its external dimensions are essentially the same as the heater measured along the axle, parallel to the heating pipes, whereas the rims of the cover are bended towards the depth of the heater, creating side covers.

Heater, especially for central heating fitted with heating elements, consists of segments, according to invention characterized by the fact, that is being determined by at least one segment which in side-view resembles letter “L” in upside-down position and each segment is created from the housing, where heating element is fixed, at the same time the housing improvingly consists of parietal part as well as upper part. Such configuration makes it applicable as heater as well as window-sill. The parietal part of the housing consists of a full partition, which adjoins to the wall of the room, while the upper part of the housing is implemented with slits, improvingly rectangular (channels) in shape. The slits simplify heat extraction from within the housing. Parietal parts of the housing which determine the heater are equipped with centred openings and tightly connected with each-other. The invention anticipates such solution, that between sections there is a distance element which acts as a heat accumulator as well as decorative detail. The heating element is a pipe coil, which is formed by straight essentially horizontal segments and straight essentially vertical segments connected by couplers, whereas the straight essentially vertical segments are fitted with radiators with transverse outline similar to the letter “T”. The straight essentially horizontal segments are fitted with radiators in form of a plate or in form of spiral. Usage of radiators increases the surface of heat exchange. It is improving when the parietal part of the housing is made of material with low thermal conductivity whereas the upper part of the housing is made of material with high thermal conductivity. Both, the upper part and the parietal part starting from the end which adjoins to the window is equipped with at least one division. These divisions, after assembly of parietal part with upper part will create isolation chambers.

The heating element could be also electrical heating cable, which can be installed either in the housing or in the pipe coil.

According to the invention the essential effect of this solution is the possibility to install the heater inside a window recess, therefore in a place with the highest inflow of cold air to the room.

The subject of invention is being shown on the drawing, where

FIG. 1—shows perspective view of the heater with cutaway,

FIG. 2—view of the heater with heating element partially opened,

FIG. 3—section parallel to the pipe coil,

FIG. 4—cross-section of vertical part of the heater,

FIG. 5—perspective view of upper part of the housing, with transition between the vertical and horizontal part has the arch shape,

FIG. 6—bottom view of the heater's section.

The heater 1 consists of sections structured from the parietal part 2 as well as upper part 3 in form of shield where the heating element is placed. The heating element is a pipe coil created by straight segments connected by couplers. The pipe coil is connected with central heating through a stub pipe inlet 4 as well as stub pipe outlet 5 of the heating agent. The upper, essentially horizontal part of segment is equipped with slits 6 rectangular in shape channels, and vertical surface of segment is equipped with slits 7. The vertical fragment of parietal part is equipped with pods 8 for fixation of vertical fragments of pipe coil. In the horizontal surface of the parietal part 2 of the housing there are installed bearers 9 with radially fixed selections 10. The horizontal fragments of pipe coil 16 are installed in these selections. Vertical parts 17 of pipe coil are equipped with radiators 18 with transverse outline similar to letter “T”. Whereas horizontal parts of pipe coil are equipped with radiators 15, which have shape similar to plates. These radiators increase the surface of heat exchange. The vertical fragment of segment in a parietal part 2 as well as upper part 3 create isolation chambers 14. Segments are connected together by parietal parts 2 equipped with openings 12 which centre position of segments. In the solution presented on FIG. 5 the transition between the horizontal part and vertical part has a curved outline 20 and curved groove 21.

The side partitions of segments in the lower part are shorter from the frontal partitions. The frontal partitions of parietal part 2 as well as upper part 3 of the heater create channel 22 where elements of pipe coil are located. The frontal partition of upper part 3 makes a cover for inlets and outlets of heating agent.
