Hanger

A hanger adapted to hang a display includes a main body, a glide component, and an adjustable component. The main body provides a trough and a first aperture penetrating the trough. The first aperture includes a first broad portion and a first narrow portion. The width of the first broad portion is greater than that of the first narrow portion. The glide component is disposed in the trough for gliding therein and provides a second aperture including a second broad portion and a second narrow portion. The width of the second broad portion is greater than that of the second narrow portion. The adjustable component is connected with the glide component to adjust the glide component gliding between a first position and a second position.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

(1) Field of the Present Invention

The invention relates to a hanger, and especially relates to a hanger for hanging a display.

(2) Description of the Prior Art

Refer to FIG. 1 for an exploded schematic view showing a conventional hanger 100. A hanger 100 adapted to hang a display (not shown) includes two fixtures 110 and two supports 120. The two fixtures 110 are parallel to one another and disposed on two supports 120, and the fixtures 110 are perpendicular to the supports 120. The fixtures 110 are adapted to be disposed on the display, and the supports 120 are adapted to be disposed on a surface (not shown).

Refer to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 in the meanwhile, the fixtures 110 provide a plurality of threaded holes 115. The supports 120 provide a plurality of tapped holes 125, and the tapped hole 125 has a narrow lodged portion 126. The steps of assembling the hanger 100 are: fixing the supports 120 on the surface; screwing a screw 130 on the threaded holes 115; a head 131 of the screw 130 penetrating through the thread hole 125 as the direction of an arrow; and a neck 132 of the screw 130 lodging downward in the lodged portion 126 of the tapped hole 125. The assemblage of the screw 130 and the tapped hole 125 is shown as FIG. 2. Thus, the fixtures 110 are able to be fastened on the supports 120.

However, after the screw 130 lodges in the lodged portion 126 of the tapped hole 125, the screw 130 is still easy to come off the tapped hole 125 as the direction of the arrow showing in FIG. 2 because there are no locking structure above the screw 130 to block the screw 130 moving out. Thus, the fixtures 110 separate from the supports 120 and the display falls from the hanger 100 to result in injury to the display or staffs when the display hanged on the fixture 110 is collided or shaken. Above all, how to solve the problem of the display easily falling from the hanger when the display collided and how to simplify the assembly of the hanger are problems in the technology field.

SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

Accordingly, the invention provides a hanger adapted to a display to avoid the display falling from the hanger when the display collided.

In one aspect, an embodiment of the invention provides a hanger adapted to be disposed on a surface and hang a display. The hanger includes a main body, a glide component, and an adjustable component. The main body provides a trough and a first aperture, and the first aperture penetrates the trough for hanging the display. The first aperture has a first broad portion and a first narrow portion, and the width of the first broad portion is greater than the width of the first narrow portion. The glide component is disposed in the trough for gliding in the trough. The glide component provides a second aperture, and the second aperture has a second broad portion and a second narrow portion. The width of the second broad portion is greater than the width of the second narrow portion. The adjustable component is connected with the glide component for adjusting the glide component gliding between a first position and a second position. The second broad portion of the second aperture overlaps the first broad portion of the first aperture when the glide component is situated at the first position; the glide component covers the first broad portion of the first aperture, and the second narrow portion of the second aperture overlaps the first narrow portion of the first aperture when the glide component is situated at the second position.

In an embodiment, the trough is a rectangular trough, and the glide component is rectangular. The second broad portion and the second narrow portion are connected with each other, and the shape of the second aperture is such as the shape of a letter “L”.

In an embodiment, the trough includes an up side, a down side, and a bottom side connected between the up side and the down side, the first aperture penetrates the bottom side. Each of the up side and the bottom side has a locating block and a locating aperture disposed at one side of the locating block. The trough has an end face connected with one end of the bottom side and is disposed between the up side and the down side, and the end face provides an adjustable aperture for being threaded through by the adjustable component. The glide component has a sliding aperture including a narrow-long part and a broad open part, and the width of the broad open part is greater than the width of the narrow-long part. The locating block is placed in the broad open part and slides in the narrow-long part when the broad open part overlaps the locating aperture of the main body.

One end of the glide component provides a third aperture corresponding to the adjustable aperture of the main body, and the end of the glide component is connected with one end of the adjustable component. The adjustable component is threaded through the adjustable aperture of the main body and located at the third aperture of the glide component.

In an embodiment, the hanger further includes a fixture, the fixture is adapted to be fixed on a backboard of the display and to be screwed by a screw, and the screw is adapted to be thread through the first board portion of the first aperture of the main body and then to lodge in the first narrow portion. The main body provides plural threaded holes for being screwed by the screws on the surface to place the glide component between the main body and the surface.

The embodiment or the embodiments of the invention may have at least one of the following advantages. Compared to the conventional, the glide component is used to fix the display on the hanger for solving the problem of the display falling from the hanger when the display collided; and the adjustable component is used to adjust the glide component for simplifying the assembly in the embodiments according to the invention.

Other objectives, features and advantages of the present invention will be further understood from the further technological features disclosed by the embodiments of the present invention wherein there are shown and described preferred embodiments of this invention, simply by way of illustration of modes best suited to carry out the present invention.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

In the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments, reference is made to the accompanying drawings which form a part hereof, and in which is shown by way of illustration specific embodiments in which the invention may be practiced. In this regard, directional terminology, such as “top,” “bottom,” “front,” “back,” etc., is used with reference to the orientation of the Figure(s) being described. The components of the present invention can be positioned in a number of different orientations. As such, the directional terminology is used for purposes of illustration and is in no way limiting. On the other hand, the drawings are only schematic and the sizes of components may be exaggerated for clarity. It is to be understood that other embodiments may be utilized and structural changes may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. Refer to FIG. 3 for an exploded schematic view showing a hanger 300 according to an embodiment of the invention. The hanger 300 is adapted to be disposed on a surface (not shown) and hang a display (not shown). The hanger 300 includes a main body 310, a glide component 350, and an adjustable component (not shown).

The main body 310 provides a trough V, and the trough V includes an up side 312, a down side 313, and a bottom side 314 connected between the up side 312 and the down side 313. In an embodiment, the trough V is a rectangular trough, and the glide component 350 is rectangular for being accommodated to the trough V. The main body 310 provides a first aperture 320 disposed at the bottom side 314 of the trough V and penetrating the bottom side 314 of the trough V for hanging the display. The first aperture 320 has a first broad portion 322 and a first narrow portion 321, and the first broad portion 322 and the first narrow portion 321 are connected with each other. The width of the first broad portion 322 is greater than the width of the first narrow portion 321. The shape of the first broad portion 322 is approximately such as circle and the shape of the first narrow portion 321 is approximately such as oblong. Each of the up side 312 and the down side 313 of the trough V has a locating block 330 and a locating aperture 331, and the locating aperture 331 is disposed at one side of the locating block 330.

The main body 310 provides an adjustable aperture 340 and a plurality of threaded holes 345. The adjustable aperture 340 is disposed at an end face 311 of the trough V, and the end face 311 is connected with one end of the bottom side 314 and disposed between the up side 312 and the down side 313. The threaded holes are disposed at the up side 312 and the down side 313 of the main body 310 for being threaded by the screw (not shown) to fasten the main body 310 on the surface.

The glide component 350 includes a second aperture 360, a sliding aperture 370, and a third aperture 380. Refer to FIG. 3A for an enlarge detail showing the second aperture 360 of the embodiment. The second aperture 360 has a second broad portion 361 and a second narrow portion 362, and the width of the second broad portion 361 is greater than the width of the second narrow portion 362. In an embodiment, the second broad portion 361 and the second narrow portion 362 are connected with each other, and the shape of the second aperture 360 is formed as a letter “L”.

Refer to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 for a schematic view showing an assemblage of the hanger 300 of an embodiment of the invention. As shown in FIG. 3, the sliding aperture 370 includes a broad open part 371 and a narrow-long part 372, and the broad open part 371 is connected with the narrow-long part 372. The width of the broad open part 371 is greater than the width of the narrow-long part 372. When the glide component 350 is glided into the trough V of the main body 310 as the direction of an arrow, the broad open part 371 overlaps the locating aperture 331 of the main body 310 and then the locating block 330 is placed into the broad open part 371. After the glide component 350 is combined with the main body 310 as FIG. 4 showing, the third aperture 380 is located corresponding to the adjustable aperture 340 of the main body 310. In this way, the stick-like adjustable component 390 is threaded through the adjustable aperture 340 of the main body 310, and one end of the adjustable component 390 is screwed on the third aperture 380 of the glide component 350. Another end of the adjustable component 390 has a knob 391, and the adjustable component 390 is rotated by the turning knob 391 to drive the glide component 350 sliding in the trough V; simultaneously, the locating block 330 is moved along in the narrow-long part 372.

Refer to FIG. 4A and FIG. 4B for enlarge details of an area D in FIG. 4. One end of the adjustable component 390 is fastened on the third aperture 380 and is connected with the left end of the glide component 350. The left end of the glide component 350 is driven by turning the knob 391 to shift between a first position P1 and a second position P2 in the trough V of the main body 310.

As shown in FIG. 4, the second broad portion 361 of the second aperture 360 overlaps the first aperture 320 of the main body 310 when the left end of the glide component 350 is situated at the first position P1. The glide component 350 covers the first broad portion 322 of the first aperture 320, and the second narrow portion 362 of the second aperture 360 overlaps the first narrow portion 321 of the first aperture 320 when the left end of the glide component 350 is situated at the second position P2 (as direction of the arrow).

Refer to FIG. 5A and FIG. 5B for the schematic views of the hanger 300 adapted to hang a display 10 according to an embodiment of the invention. A backboard 11 of the display 10 is screwed by a plurality of screws 20. In this embodiment, the number of the screw 20 is four for stabling the display 10 on the hanger 300. Two fixtures 300 are parallel to each other and disposed on the backboard 11 of the display 10, and the adjustable component 390 is shown in right side of the figure.

As shown in FIG. 5, each screw 20 on the display 10 threads through the first broad portion 322 of the first aperture 320 and the second broad portion 361 of the second aperture 360. As shown in FIG. 4A, FIG. 4B, and FIG. 5, the oblique lines denote the head of the screw. Each screw 20 lodges in the first narrow portion 321 of the first aperture 320 in FIG. 5, and the glide component 350 is slid at the second position P2 along the x-axis by the adjustable component 390 to fasten the screws 20 in the first narrow portion 321 of the first aperture 320.

Each screw 20 lodges in the first narrow portion 321 of the first aperture 320 for avoiding the display 10 shifting along the x-axis of the hanger 300. The screw 20 is fastened in the second narrow portion 362 of the second aperture 360 by the glide component 350 for preventing the display 10 falling from the hanger 300 along the y-axis when the display 10 collided.

As FIG. 6A and FIG. 6B showing, the hanger 400 in FIG. 6A includes the main body 310, the glide component 350, the adjustable component 390, and a fixture 30. The fixture 30 is adapted to be fixed on the backboard 11 of the display 10, and one side of fixture 30 facing the main body 310 is screwed by a screw 31. The screw 31 threads through the first broad portion 322 of the first aperture 320 of the main body 310 and lodges in the first narrow portion 321. The main body 310 provides a plurality of threaded holes 345 for being screwed by the screws to fasten the main body 310 on the surface (not shown), and the glide component 350 is placed between the main body 310 and the surface.

Refer to FIG. 6C and FIG. 6D respectively for a rear view (one side near the surface) and a front view showing the assembly of the hanger 400. Two fixtures 30 are parallel to each other and disposed on the backboard 11 of the display 10. Two main bodies 310 are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the fixtures 30 for hanging the fixtures 30 thereon.

Refer to FIG. 7 for a schematic view of the display 10 hanging on the hanger 400 according to an embodiment of the invention. The fixtures 30 are screwed on the backboard 11 of the display 10, and then the screws 31 are fastened on the fixtures 30 for hanging the fixtures 30 on the main body 310. The main body 310 is hanged on the fixture 30 after screwed on the surface; then, the glide component 350 in the main body 310 is shifted by the adjustable component 390 to fasten the position of the screw 31 for avoiding the screw 31 moving arbitrarily.

In concluding all the disclosure heretofore, the embodiment or the embodiments aforesaid may have at least one of the following advantages:

1. by means of the glide component 350 being fixed the display on the hanger for solving the problem of the display falling from the hanger when the display collided; and

2. turning the adjustable component 390 to adjust the glide component 350 reaching the second position P2 for simplifying the assembly.

Claims

1. A hanger, adapted to be disposed on a surface and hang a display, the hanger comprising:

a main body, providing a trough and a first aperture, the first aperture penetrating the trough for hanging the display, and the first aperture having a first broad portion and a first narrow portion, the width of the first broad portion being greater than the width of the first narrow portion;
a glide component, disposed in the trough for gliding in the trough and providing a second aperture, the second aperture having a second broad portion and a second narrow portion, the width of the second broad portion being greater than the width of the second narrow portion; and
an adjustable component, connected with the glide component for adjusting the glide component gliding between a first position and a second position;
wherein the second broad portion of the second aperture overlaps the first broad portion of the first aperture when the glide component is located at the first position, the glide component covers the first broad portion of the first aperture and the second narrow portion of the second aperture overlaps the first narrow portion of the first aperture when the glide component is located at the second position.

2. The hanger of claim 1, wherein the second broad portion and the second narrow portion are connected with each other, and the shape of the second aperture is formed as a letter L.

3. The hanger of claim 1, wherein the trough comprises an up side, a down side, and a bottom side connected between the up side and the down side, the first aperture penetrates the bottom side, and each of the up side and the bottom side has a locating block.

4. The hanger of claim 3, wherein each of the up side and the bottom side has a locating aperture disposed at one side of the locating block.

5. The hanger of claim 4, wherein the glide component has a sliding aperture comprising a narrow-long part and a broad open part, the width of the broad open part is greater than the width of the narrow-long part, and the locating block is placed in the broad open part and slid in the narrow-long part when the broad open part overlaps the locating aperture of the main body.

6. The hanger of claim 3, wherein the trough has an end face connected with one end of the bottom side and located between the up side and the down side, and the end face provides an adjustable aperture for being threaded through by the adjustable component.

7. The hanger of claim 6, wherein one end of the glide component provides a third aperture corresponding to the adjustable aperture of the main body, and the end of the glide component is connected with one end of the adjustable component.

8. The hanger of claim 7, wherein the adjustable component is threaded through the adjustable aperture of the main body and located at the third aperture of the glide component.

9. The hanger of claim 1, wherein the trough is a rectangular trough, and the glide component is rectangular.

10. The hanger of claim 1 further comprising a fixture, wherein the fixture is adapted to be fixed on a backboard of the display and to be screwed by a screw, and the screw is adapted to thread through the first board portion of the first aperture of the main body, so as to lodge in the first narrow portion.

11. The hanger of claim 1, wherein the main body provides a plurality of threaded holes for being screwed by the screws on the surface to place the glide component between the main body and the surface.
