A packaging bag includes a plain woven plastic bag body having two opposite major walls facing each other to define an accommodation space, and at least one anti-slip plastic layer formed by thermo-coating on an outer surface of at least one of the major walls so as to provide a frictional force for preventing slippage of the bag body. The bag body is made of a material selected from the group consisting of polypropylene and polyethylene. The anti-slip plastic layer is made of a material selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, polyethylene, and polyvinyl chloride.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

This application claims priority of Taiwanese Application No. 098200231, filed on Jan. 8, 2009.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to a packaging bag, more particularly to a packaging bag having an anti-slip plastic layer.

2. Description of the Related Art

Generally, goods for delivery are first packed in a plurality of conventional packaging bags, after which the packaging bags are stacked one on top of the other in a warehouse or in a delivery truck. However, the packaging bags fall down easily from their stacked state either because they are not arranged neatly and orderly, or because of the vibrations produced by the moving vehicle. Hence, use of the conventional packaging bags is not only inconvenient, but also can pose a danger.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a packaging bag that is capable of overcoming the aforementioned drawbacks of the prior art.

According to this invention, a packaging bag comprises a plain woven plastic bag body having two opposite major walls facing each other to define an accommodation space, and at least one anti-slip plastic layer formed by thermo-coating on an outer surface of at least one of the major walls so as to provide a frictional force for preventing slippage of the bag body.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Before the present invention is described in greater detail, it should be noted that the same reference numerals have been used to denote like elements throughout the specification.

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a packaging bag 1 according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown to comprise a bag body 11 and an anti-slip plastic layer 12.

The bag body 11 has two opposite major walls 13, 13′ facing each other and defining an accommodation space 131, and has an opened end 14, and a closed end 15 opposite to the opened end 14. In this embodiment, the bag body 11 is a plain woven bag made from polypropylene. Alternatively, the plain woven bag may be made from polyethylene. The material of the plain woven bag is not limited to the aforesaid disclosures.

In this embodiment, the anti-slip plastic layer 12 is formed by thermo-coating on an outer surface of the major wall 13 of the bag body 11, extends longitudinally between the opened and closed ends 14, 15, and is made from polypropylene. Alternatively, the anti-slip plastic layer 12 may be made from polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride, and is not limited to the aforesaid disclosures.

Referring to FIG. 3, during a plurality of the packaging bags 1 are stacked for transport, through the presence of the anti-slip plastic layers 12 on the outer surfaces of the major walls 13 of the bag bodies 11 of the packaging bags 1, frictional contact among the bag bodies 11 can be enhanced, so that falling over or slippage of the stacked packaging bags 1 due to a rocking movement or vibrations can be effectively minimized or prevented. Hence, the inconvenience of having to re-stack the packaging bags 1 or the danger posed by the packaging bags 1 falling over can be largely reduced. Further, the effectiveness of the anti-slip plastic layer 12 cannot be easily lowered due to contact with dirt.

Referring to FIG. 4, a packaging bag 1′ according to the second preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown to be similar to the first preferred embodiment. However, in this embodiment, the packaging bag 1′ further has another anti-slip plastic layer 12′ formed by thermo-coating on the outer surface of the other major wall 13′ of the bag body 11. During a stacking operation of the packaging bags 1′, there is no need to pay particular attention to the stacking direction of the bag bodies 11 of the packaging bags 1′ since the major walls 13, 13′ of the bag bodies 11 are provided respectively with the anti-slip plastic layers 12, 12′. Hence, the advantages of the packaging bags 1′ discussed above can be effectively further enhanced.

Referring to FIG. 5, a packaging bag 1″ according to the third preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown to be similar to the first preferred embodiment. However, in this embodiment, the anti-slip plastic layer 12″ covers completely the outer surfaces of the major walls 13, 13′ of the bag body 11. Advantages of the first preferred embodiment can be similarly achieved using the third preferred embodiment. It should be noted that the anti-slip plastic layer 12″ may be configured as a netted structure that surrounds the outer surfaces of the major walls 13, 13′ of the bag body 11.

Referring to FIG. 6, a packaging bag (1a) according to the fourth preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown to be similar to the first preferred embodiment. However, in this embodiment, the anti-slip plastic layer (12a) has an outer surface provided with a plurality of anti-slip protrusions 121 projecting outwardly therefrom.

Advantages of the first preferred embodiment can be similarly achieved using the fourth preferred embodiment.

While the present invention has been described in connection with what are considered the most practical and preferred embodiments, it is understood that this invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments but is intended to cover various arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the broadest interpretations and equivalent arrangements.

Claims

1. A packaging bag comprising:

a plain woven plastic bag body having two opposite major walls facing each other to define an accommodation space; and
at least one anti-slip plastic layer formed by thermo-coating on an outer surface of at least one of said major walls so as to provide a frictional force for preventing slippage of said bag body.

2. The packaging bag of claim 1, wherein said bag body is made of a material selected from the group consisting of polypropylene and polyethylene, and said anti-slip plastic layer is made of a material selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, polyethylene, and polyvinyl chloride.

3. The packaging bag of claim 1, wherein said bag body further has longitudinally opposite opened and closed ends, and said anti-slip plastic layer is elongated, and extends longitudinally between said opened and closed ends of said bag body.

4. The packaging bag of claim 1, wherein said anti-slip plastic layer covers completely said outer surfaces of said major walls.

5. The packaging bag of claim 1, wherein said anti-slip plastic layer has an outer surface provided with a plurality of anti-slip protrusions projecting outwardly therefrom.
