LCD Panel Repair Cart

Provided is an LCD panel repair cart for handling an LCD panel, including a top workbench, a first slidable board, and a second slidable board. The first slidable board is disposed substantially in parallel a first vertical interval below the top workbench. The first slidable board has slidable positions between a first position and a second position. Substantial portion of the first slidable board is retracted under the top workbench when the first slidable board is at the first position. Substantial portion of the first slidable board is exposed beside the top workbench the first vertical interval below the top workbench when the first slidable board is at the second position. The first slidable board is slid smoothly between the first position and the second position.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an LCD panel repair cart. More particularly, this invention relates to an LCD panel repair cart, which increases the productivity by eliminating the need to prepare more worktops.

A large LCD panel display is not easy to handle in a process in manufacturing or repairing because of its bulkiness and sensitive electronic and mechanical structures.

In prior arts, it has taken several equipments and associated procedures to perform such processes, which are the sources of inconvenience or extra cost.

Accordingly, a need for an LCD panel repair cart has been present for a long time considering the expansive usages of LCD panel applications, especially nowadays when flat and slip designs are popular in the industry of display. This invention is directed to solve these problems and satisfy the long-felt need.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention contrives to solve the disadvantages of the prior art.

An objective of the invention is to provide an LCD panel repair cart.

Another object of the invention is to provide an LCD panel repair cart, which facilitates handling the LCD panel for manufacturing and repairing.

Still another object of the invention is to provide an LCD panel repair cart, which increases the productivity of the LCD panel.

An aspect of the invention provides an LCD panel repair cart for handling an LCD panel. The LCD panel repair cart includes a top workbench, a first slidable board, and a second slidable board.

The first slidable board is disposed substantially in parallel a first vertical interval below the top workbench. The first slidable board has slidable positions between a first position and a second position. Substantial portion of the first slidable board is retracted under the top workbench when the first slidable board is at the first position. Substantial portion of the first slidable board is exposed beside the top workbench the first vertical interval below the top workbench when the first slidable board is at the second position. The first slidable board is slid smoothly between the first position and the second position.

The second slidable board is disposed substantially in parallel a second vertical interval below the first slidable board. The second slidable board has slidable positions between a third position and a fourth position. Substantial portion of the second slidable board is retracted under the first slidable board when the second slidable board is at the third position. Substantial portion of the second slidable board is exposed beside the top workbench sum of the first and second vertical intervals below the top workbench when the second slidable board is at the fourth position. The second slidable board is slid smoothly between the third position and the fourth position.

The top workbench may comprise a dust-free pad. The dust-free pad may comprise urethane.

The first slidable board may comprise a front bar, a rear bar, two side bars, and one or more middle bars.

The front bar is configured to be aligned with a front edge of the top workbench when the first slidable board is at the first position and aligned with the second position when the first slidable board is at the second position.

The rear bar is configured to be aligned with a rear edge of the top workbench when the first slidable board is at the first position and aligned with the front edge of the top workbench when the first slidable board is at the second position.

The two side bars, each of which engaging an end of the front bar and an end of the rear bar, forms a rectangular frame.

The one or more middle bars, disposed in parallel with the front bar, engage the two side bars.

The cart may further comprise four vertical bars, two first guiding rails, and two second guiding rails.

The four vertical bars are configured for supporting the top workbench and the first and second slidable board.

Each of the two first guiding rails is disposed between two side vertical bars, such that the first slidable board is slidably engaged with the two first guiding rails.

Each of the two second guiding rails is disposed between two side vertical bars, such that the second slidable board is slidably engaged with the two second guiding rails.

Each of the two first guiding rails may comprise an extending arm and a limiting arm.

The extending arm is configured to extend to the first position when the first slidable board is at the second position.

The limiting arm is configured to extend halfway to the first position when the first slidable board is at the second position.

The extending arm is configured to slide against the limiting arm, and wherein the extending arm is latched by the limiting arm when the first slidable board is at the second position.

Each of the two second guiding rails may comprise an extending arm and a limiting arm.

The extending arm is configured to extend to the third position when the second slidable board is at the fourth position.

The limiting arm is configured to extend halfway to the third position when the second slidable board is at the fourth position.

The extending arm is configured to slide against the limiting arm, and the extending arm is latched by the limiting arm when the second slidable board is at the fourth position.

The second slidable board may comprise front and rear bars, two side bars, and one or more middle bars.

The front bar is configured to be aligned with a front edge of the top workbench when the second slidable board is at the third position and aligned with the second position when the second slidable board is at the fourth position.

The rear bar is configured to be aligned with a rear edge of the top workbench when the second slidable board is at the third position and aligned with the front edge of the top workbench when the second slidable board is at the fourth position.

The two side bars, each of which engaging an end of the front bar and an end of the rear bar, forms a rectangular frame.

The one or more middle bars, disposed in parallel with the front bar, engage the two side bars.

The cart may further comprise four vertical bars, two first guiding rails, and two second guiding rails.

The four vertical bars are configured for supporting the top workbench and the second slidable board.

Each of the two first guiding rails is disposed between two side vertical bars, such that the first slidable board is slidably engaged with the two first guiding rails.

Each of the two second guiding rails is disposed between two side vertical bars, such that the second slidable board is slidably engaged with the two second guiding rails.

Each of the two first guiding rails may comprise an extending arm and a limiting arm.

The extending arm is configured to extend to the first position when the first slidable board is at the second position.

The limiting arm is configured to extend halfway to the first position when the first slidable board is at the second position.

The extending arm is configured to slide against the limiting arm, and the extending arm is latched by the limiting arm when the second slidable board is at the second position.

Each of the two second guiding rails may comprise an extending arm and a limiting arm.

The extending arm is configured to extend to the third position when the second slidable board is at the fourth position.

The limiting arm is configured to extend halfway to the third position when the second slidable board is at the fourth position.

The extending arm is configured to slide against the limiting arm, and the extending arm is latched by the limiting arm when the second slidable board is at the fourth position.

Each front bar of the first and second slidable boards may comprise a plurality of handle for initiating sliding.

The cart may further comprise a plurality of slidable boards under the second slidable board.

The first position may be different from the second position, and the third position may be different from the fourth position.

Alternatively, the first position may be substantially same as the second position, and the third position may be substantially same as the fourth position.

The first slidable board may be configured to latch at one or more intermediate positions disposed between the first and second positions.

The second slidable board may be configured to latch at one or more intermediate positions disposed between the third and fourth positions.

The cart may further comprise a plurality of trolley wheels.

The advantages of the present invention are: (1) the LCD panel repair cart facilitates handling the LCD panel for repairing; and (2) the LCD panel repair cart provides spaces for repairing the LCD panel.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION

FIGS. 1-5 show an LCD panel repair cart 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention.

An aspect of the invention provides an LCD panel repair cart 100 for handling an LCD panel (not shown). The LCD panel repair cart 100 includes a top workbench 10, a first slidable board 20, and a second slidable board 30.

The first slidable board 20 is disposed substantially in parallel a first vertical interval below the top workbench 10. The first slidable board 20 has slidable positions between a first position (A) and a second position (B). Substantial portion of the first slidable board 20 is retracted under the top workbench 10 when the first slidable board 20 is at the first position (A). Substantial portion of the first slidable board 20 is exposed beside the top workbench 10 the first vertical interval below the top workbench 10 when the first slidable board 20 is at the second position (B). The first slidable board 20 is slid smoothly between the first position (A) and the second position (B).

The second slidable board 30 is disposed substantially in parallel a second vertical interval below the first slidable board 20. The second slidable board 30 has slidable positions between a third position (C) and a fourth position (D). Substantial portion of the second slidable board 30 is retracted under the first slidable board 20 when the second slidable board 30 is at the third position (C). Substantial portion of the second slidable board 30 is exposed beside the top workbench 10 sum of the first and second vertical intervals below the top workbench 10 when the second slidable board 30 is at the fourth position (D). The second slidable board 30 is slid smoothly between the third position (C) and the fourth position (D).

The top workbench 10 may comprise a dust-free pad. The dust-free pad may comprise urethane.

The first slidable board 20 may comprise a front bar 21, a rear bar 22, two side bars 23, and one or more middle bars 24.

The front bar 21 is configured to be aligned with a front edge of the top workbench 10 when the first slidable board 20 is at the first position (A) and aligned with the second position when the first slidable board 20 is at the second position (B).

The rear bar 22 is configured to be aligned with a rear edge of the top workbench 10 when the first slidable board 20 is at the first position (A) and aligned with the front edge of the top workbench 10 when the first slidable board 20 is at the second position (B).

The two side bars 23, each of which engaging an end of the front bar 21 and an end of the rear bar 22, forms a rectangular frame as shown in FIG. 4.

The one or more middle bars 24, disposed in parallel with the front bar 21, engage the two side bars 23.

The cart 100 may further comprise four vertical bars 40, two first guiding rails 50, and two second guiding rails 60.

The four vertical bars 40 are configured for supporting the top workbench 10 and the first and second slidable boards 20, 30.

Each of the two first guiding rails 50 is disposed between two side vertical bars 40, such that the first slidable board 20 is slidably engaged with the two first guiding rails 50 as shown in FIG. 5.

Each of the two second guiding rails 60 is disposed between two side vertical bars 40, such that the second slidable board 30 is slidably engaged with the two second guiding rails 60 as shown in FIG. 5.

Each of the two first guiding rails 50 may comprise an extending arm and a limiting arm.

The extending arm is configured to extend to the first position (A) when the first slidable board 20 is at the second position (B).

The limiting arm is configured to extend halfway to the first position (A) when the first slidable board 20 is at the second position (B).

The extending arm is configured to slide against the limiting arm, and wherein the extending arm is latched by the limiting arm when the first slidable board 20 is at the second position (B).

Each of the two second guiding rails 60 may comprise an extending arm and a limiting arm.

The extending arm is configured to extend to the third position (C) when the second slidable board 30 is at the fourth position (D).

The limiting arm is configured to extend halfway to the third position (C) when the second slidable board is at the fourth position (D).

The extending arm is configured to slide against the limiting arm, and the extending arm is latched by the limiting arm when the second slidable board 30 is at the fourth position (D).

The second slidable board 30 may comprise front and rear bars, two side bars, and one or more middle bars like the first slidable board 20 as shown in FIG. 4.

The front bar is configured to be aligned with a front edge of the top workbench when the second slidable board 30 is at the third position and aligned with the second position when the second slidable board is at the fourth position.

The rear bar is configured to be aligned with a rear edge of the top workbench 10 when the second slidable board 30 is at the third position and aligned with the front edge of the top workbench when the second slidable board 30 is at the fourth position.

The two side bars, each of which engaging an end of the front bar and an end of the rear bar, forms a rectangular frame.

The one or more middle bars, disposed in parallel with the front bar, engage the two side bars.

The cart 100 may further comprise four vertical bars, two first guiding rails, and two second guiding rails.

The four vertical bars are configured for supporting the top workbench 10 and the second slidable board 30.

Each of the two first guiding rails is disposed between two side vertical bars, such that the first slidable board 20 is slidably engaged with the two first guiding rails.

Each of the two second guiding rails is disposed between two side vertical bars, such that the second slidable board 30 is slidably engaged with the two second guiding rails.

Each of the two first guiding rails may comprise an extending arm and a limiting arm.

The extending arm is configured to extend to the first position when the first slidable board 20 is at the second position.

The limiting arm is configured to extend halfway to the first position when the first slidable board 20 is at the second position.

The extending arm is configured to slide against the limiting arm, and the extending arm is latched by the limiting arm when the second slidable board 30 is at the second position.

Each of the two second guiding rails may comprise an extending arm and a limiting arm.

The extending arm is configured to extend to the third position when the second slidable board 30 is at the fourth position.

The limiting arm is configured to extend halfway to the third position when the second slidable board 30 is at the fourth position.

The extending arm is configured to slide against the limiting arm, and the extending arm is latched by the limiting arm when the second slidable board 30 is at the fourth position.

Each front bar of the first and second slidable boards may comprise a plurality of handle for initiating sliding.

The cart 100 may further comprise a plurality of slidable boards under the second slidable board 30.

The first position may be different from the second position, and the third position may be different from the fourth position.

Alternatively, the first position may be substantially same as the second position, and the third position may be substantially same as the fourth position.

The first slidable board 20 may be configured to latch at one or more intermediate positions disposed between the first and second positions.

The second slidable board 30 may be configured to latch at one or more intermediate positions disposed between the third and fourth positions.

The cart 100 may further comprise a plurality of trolley wheels 90.

In certain embodiments of the invention, the cart 100 may further comprise a plurality of rollers or supports 80 as shown in FIG. 4. The plurality of rollers or supports 80 are for supporting LCD panel on them. The rollers or supports 80 may be made of plastic or rubber, which may help to hold the LCD panel in place or to roll on them.

While the invention has been shown and described with reference to different embodiments thereof, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that variations in form, detail, compositions and operation may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the accompanying claims.

Claims

1. An LCD panel repair cart for handling an LCD panel comprising:

a top workbench;
a first slidable board disposed substantially in parallel a first vertical interval below the top workbench, wherein the first slidable board has slidable positions between a first position and a second position, wherein substantial portion of the first slidable board is retracted under the top workbench when the first slidable board is at the first position, and substantial portion of the first slidable board is exposed beside the top workbench the first vertical interval below the top workbench when the first slidable board is at the second position, and wherein the first slidable board is slid smoothly between the first position and the second position; and
a second slidable board disposed substantially in parallel a second vertical interval below the first slidable board, wherein the second slidable board has slidable positions between a third position and a fourth position, wherein substantial portion of the second slidable board is retracted under the first slidable board when the second slidable board is at the third position, and substantial portion of the second slidable board is exposed beside the top workbench sum of the first and second vertical intervals below the top workbench when the second slidable board is at the fourth position, and wherein the second slidable board is slid smoothly between the third position and the fourth position.

2. The cart of claim 1, wherein the top workbench comprises a dust-free pad.

3. The cart of claim 2, wherein the dust-free pad comprises urethane.

4. The cart of claim 1, wherein the first slidable board comprises:

a front bar configured to be aligned with a front edge of the top workbench when the first slidable board is at the first position and aligned with the second position when the first slidable board is at the second position;
a rear bar configured to be aligned with a rear edge of the top workbench when the first slidable board is at the first position and aligned with the front edge of the top workbench when the first slidable board is at the second position;
two side bars, each of which engaging an end of the front bar and an end of the rear bar, forming a rectangular frame; and
one or more middle bars, disposed in parallel with the front bar, engaging the two side bars.

5. The cart of claim 4, further comprising:

four vertical bars configured for supporting the top workbench and the first and second slidable board;
two first guiding rails, each being disposed between two side vertical bars, such that the first slidable board is slidably engaged with the two first guiding rails; and
two second guiding rails, each being disposed between two side vertical bars, such that the second slidable board is slidably engaged with the two second guiding rails.

6. The cart of claim 5, wherein each of the two first guiding rails comprises:

an extending arm configured to extend to the first position when the first slidable board is at the second position; and
a limiting arm configured to extend halfway to the first position when the first slidable board is at the second position,
wherein the extending arm is configured to slide against the limiting arm, and wherein the extending arm is latched by the limiting arm when the first slidable board is at the second position.

7. The cart of claim 5, wherein each of the two second guiding rails comprises:

an extending arm configured to extend to the third position when the second slidable board is at the fourth position; and
a limiting arm configured to extend halfway to the third position when the second slidable board is at the fourth position,
wherein the extending arm is configured to slide against the limiting arm, and wherein the extending arm is latched by the limiting arm when the second slidable board is at the fourth position.

8. The cart of claim 1, wherein the second slidable board comprises:

a front bar configured to be aligned with a front edge of the top workbench when the second slidable board is at the third position and aligned with the second position when the second slidable board is at the fourth position;
a rear bar configured to be aligned with a rear edge of the top workbench when the second slidable board is at the third position and aligned with the front edge of the top workbench when the second slidable board is at the fourth position;
two side bars, each of which engaging an end of the front bar and an end of the rear bar, forming a rectangular frame; and
one or more middle bars, disposed in parallel with the front bar, engaging the two side bars.

9. The cart of claim 8, further comprising:

four vertical bars configured for supporting the top workbench and the second slidable board; and
two first guiding rails, each being disposed between two side vertical bars, such that the first slidable board is slidably engaged with the two first guiding rails; and
two second guiding rails, each being disposed between two side vertical bars, such that the second slidable board is slidably engaged with the two second guiding rails.

10. The cart of claim 9, wherein each of the two first guiding rails comprises:

an extending arm configured to extend to the first position when the first slidable board is at the second position; and
a limiting arm configured to extend halfway to the first position when the first slidable board is at the second position,
wherein the extending arm is configured to slide against the limiting arm, and wherein the extending arm is latched by the limiting arm when the second slidable board is at the second position.

11. The cart of claim 9, wherein each of the two second guiding rails comprises:

an extending arm configured to extend to the third position when the second slidable board is at the fourth position; and
a limiting arm configured to extend halfway to the third position when the second slidable board is at the fourth position,
wherein the extending arm is configured to slide against the limiting arm, and wherein the extending arm is latched by the limiting arm when the second slidable board is at the fourth position.

12. The cart of claim 1, wherein each front bar of the first and second slidable boards comprises a plurality of handle for initiating sliding.

13. The cart of claim 1, further comprising a plurality of slidable boards under the second slidable board.

14. The cart of claim 1, wherein the first position is different from the second position, and wherein the third position is different from the fourth position.

15. The cart of claim 1, wherein the first position is substantially same as the second position, and wherein the third position is substantially same as the fourth position.

16. The cart of claim 15, wherein the first slidable board is configured to latch at one or more intermediate positions disposed between the first and second positions.

17. The cart of claim 16, wherein the second slidable board is configured to latch at one or more intermediate positions disposed between the third and fourth positions.

18. The cart of claim 1, further comprising a plurality of trolley wheels.
