Entertaining Balancing Ball Set

An improved entertaining balancing ball set includes a basis ball of a pre-determined outer diameter and a rolling ball of a smaller diameter. The basis ball includes one or more grooved orbits of which the shape could be branching, labyrinth-like, curving, extending, etc. The grooved orbits include a skewed side, one or more traps, a starting point on one end for each of grooved orbits, and a destination on the other end for each of grooved orbits. The rolling ball has a diameter that is determined based on the width of the groove orbits over which the rolling ball is to move within. The inside of the basis ball could be either hollow or solid.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an improved entertaining balancing ball set, and particularly to those which have the training function in coordinating body movements in hands, eyes and brains to achieve satisfactory results in both exercising and entertainment.

DESCRIPTION OF PRIOR ARTS

Highly industrialized society in today's life demands multi-function entertainment toys, which achieve both entertaining and exercising effects. It is therefore an essential goal for entertainment manufacturers to develop devices with novelty and fun, which nevertheless also enlighten players' brains when focusing on playing. Balls are one of the most popular among all playing devices, especially for kids. The current invention therefore disclose an entertaining balancing balls.

OBJECTS AND BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An object of the present invention is to provide a new stylized design in everyday toys, i.e. balls, to develop a better coordination between player's hands, eyes and brains.

The present invention discloses an improved ball set, which includes a basis ball and a rolling ball for the basis ball. The basis ball has an outer diameter and an outer surface. The outer diameter is pre-determined or pre-set by manufacturers; the outer surface further include one or more grooved orbits with two sides; the wide of the grooved orbits is designed for the rolling ball to roll in the grooved orbits.

Furthermore, to enhance more challenging for players, one side of the one or more grooved orbits is preferably skewed; it is therefore a more difficult job for players to keep the rolling ball within the grooved orbits and from falling from the skewed side.

Furthermore, one or more orbit traps are disposed randomly in the grooved orbits; once a rolling ball falls into the an orbit trap, it creates a even tougher job for players to get the rolling ball out of the trap and back to the orbit to continue with the rest of the trip.

Furthermore, it is preferably to set a starting point and a destination point for each grooved orbit either to better organize the orbits or to set playing rules.

Furthermore, the basis ball can be hollow inside for playing for a different purpose.

Furthermore, the basis ball can be solid inside to increase it elasticity in playing.

Further features and advantages of the invention will be apparent from the description below.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

The invention is herein described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein:

FIG. 1 is view of the basis ball and a rolling ball, constructed in accordance with the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a view of the rolling ball in the grooved orbit with one skewed side;

FIG. 3 is a view of the rolling ball falling into a trap in the grooved orbit;

FIG. 4 illustrates the rolling ball getting out of the trap in the groove orbit;

FIG. 5 illustrates a player playing with the ball set, including the basis ball and a rolling ball.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

Please refer to FIG. 1 to 5 for the present invention. A preferred embodiment of the present invention is a ball set, which includes a basis ball 1 of a pre-determined outer diameter and a rolling ball 2 of a smaller diameter.

The basis ball includes an outer surface, wherein the outer surface further includes one or more grooved orbits 11 (as shown in FIG. 1), of which the shape could be branching, labyrinth-like, curving, extending, etc. The grooved orbits 11 include a skewed side 12 (as shown in FIG. 2), one or more traps 13 (as shown in FIG. 3), a starting point 14 on one end for each of grooved orbits 11, and a destination (not shown in Figs) on the other end for each of grooved orbits 11.

The rolling ball 2 has a diameter that is determined based on the width of the groove orbits 11 over which the rolling ball 2 is to move within.

FIG. 5 illustrates the ball set in actual use. The rolling ball 2 is first disposed inside the orbit 11 at the starting point 14; by player's hand movements, the rolling ball 2 will move forward along the branching labyrinth-like grooved orbits 11. While playing, the player needs to make sure the rolling ball does not fall from the skewed side 12 of the orbits 11, which forces the player to focus on the job. Furthermore, randomly set traps 13 along the orbits demands higher skills from players, including focused eyes and coordinated body movements.

Preferably, the inside of the basis ball could be either hollow or solid, depending on different playing purpose.
