Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to an angle adjusting device for a display, which is mounted on a rear surface of a display to suspend the display onto a main support bracket, and more particularly to an angle adjusting device for a display which adjusts an angle according to a viewing angle, and effectively secures the display.

2. Related Art

Currently, the display has formally transitioned from the conventional CRT type to a digital type, and plasma and liquid crystal displays are dominant in the current market, especially the liquid crystal displays are more accepted. In addition to the advantages of more abundant colors and low radiation, the panel used in the display is thinned, which completely meets the requirements for thinner products. For the applications of the display, for example, the liquid crystal display connected to a computer host, the liquid crystal television, and the plasma television are all products having quite high homogeneity, and can be substantially divided into desktop, wall mounted, and suspended displays depending on the mounting methods and positions in actual use. For example, the desktop display is provided with a support seat on the rear surface, so that the display can be firmly placed on a plane by the support seat; however, the wall mounted or suspended display needs a main support bracket, so as to secure the display to the main support bracket through suspension. Furthermore, according to requirements in actual use, the main support bracket can be secured to a wall (wall mounted), or be further provided with a connecting rod, so as to be disposed on a ceiling (suspended), or a side surface of a cantilever (suspended). At present, the methods for mounting the wall mounted or suspended display screen may use two types of suspension devices, one is a suspension device with a fixed angle, and the other is a suspension device with an adjustable angle. The suspension device with a fixed angle is frequently used in suspension to a wall, that is, the angle of the suspension device is fixed, for example, parallel to the wall (that is, 0 degrees), or at 5 degrees to the wall. Therefore, the suspension of the display must consider the angle of the suspension device. The other type is the suspension device with an adjustable angle, which is often formed as a whole set of angle adjusting seat conventionally, so it has a large volume, high weight complicated structure, relatively high production cost, and is inconvenient to assemble and use for common consumers due to the complicated structure.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the present invention is directed to an angle adjusting device for a display, which has a simple structure, is easy to operate, and is cost effective.

To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides a support bracket, which is mounted on a rear surface of a display, and has more than one hook formed on a body thereof so as to meet requirements for mounting at a specific angle. A first connecting rod and a second connecting rod are further formed on the body of the support bracket so to meet requirements for adjustable mounting angles by adjusting positions of the first connecting rod and the second connecting rod.

Furthermore, a fixing screw 104 passes through the chute 10124 of the support bracket 101, and then through the third pivotal part 1032 of the second connecting rod 103. Thus, the mounting is completed as shown in FIG. 1.

FIG. 3 is a first schematic view of an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 3, the angle adjusting device 10 for a display of the present invention can be mounted on a rear surface of a display 20. In the implementation, a pair of angle adjusting devices 10 may be mounted on the rear surface of the display 20 at suitable positions evenly. Furthermore, for mounting at a specific position, a main support bracket 30 is further provided. Upper and lower edges of the main support bracket 30 are formed with an upper hook edge 301 and a lower hook edge 302. As such, in the mounting, the display 20 can be suspended on the main support bracket 30 by the angle adjusting device 10 for a display assembled in advance. In the suspension, each pair of upper hooks 10121 of the angle adjusting device 10 for a display is hooked onto the upper hook edge 301 of the main support bracket 30, and each pair of lower hooks 10122 of the angle adjusting device 10 for a display is hooked onto the lower hook edge 302 of the main support bracket 30.

FIG. 4 is a second schematic view of the embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 4, the main support bracket 30 is secured to a wall 50 in advance by a relative support bracket 40 disposed on the rear surface thereof, or is directly secured to the wall 50 by screws. FIG. 4 shows a first use of the present invention, in which the display 20 is parallel to the wall 50 after mounting, that is, the angle between the display 20 and the wall 50 is 0 degrees after mounting. As shown in FIG. 4, in the implementation, the device of the present invention is mounted the rear surface of the display 20 in advance, and is hooked onto the upper hook edge 301 of the main support bracket 30 by the first upper hooks (10121, 10131) formed on the support bracket 101, and onto the lower hook edge 302 of the main support bracket 30 by the first lower hooks (10122, 10132) of the support bracket 101. FIG. 5 is a third schematic view of the embodiment according to the present invention; as described above, the display 20 is effectively secured and parallel to the wall 50 after mounting.

FIG. 6 is a fourth schematic view of the embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 6, it is intended to secure the display 20 is parallel to the wall 50 at the angle of 0 degrees, the second upper hook 1022 and the second lower hook 1023 of the first connecting rod 102 can also be selected to hook onto the upper hook edge 301 and the lower hook edge 302 of the main support bracket 30 respectively. As such, the distance from the rear surface of the display 20 to the main support bracket 30 is increased, that is, a larger accommodation space 60 is formed between the main support bracket 30 and the rear surface of the display 20 to accommodate a related electronic apparatus 70, such as a digital TV box or micro-computer.

FIG. 7 is a fifth schematic view of the embodiment of the present invention. When it is intended to mount the display 20 at a higher position, the plane of the display 20 is generally required to incline downward to a suitable angle, for example, 5 or 10 degrees. Therefore, in an application of the present invention, the angle adjusting device 10 for a display can be adjusted to a suitable angle first as shown in FIG. 7. Then, according to the actual angle required, the fixing screw 104 is loosened and moved along the chutes (10124, 10134) to the suitable hook holes (10125, 10135). After the position is confirmed, the fixing screw 104 is fastened. In the movement along the chutes (10124, 10134), the second connecting rod 103 and the first connecting rod 102 also driven to move, and after the adjustment, the support bracket 101 is tilted. In the mounting, the second upper hook 1022 and the second lower hook 1023 of the first connecting rod 102 are hooked onto the upper hook edge 301 and the lower hook edge 302 of the main support bracket 30 respectively to effectively secure the display 20. The display 20 is at a suitable angle with respect to the wall 50 after securing. Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7 for another operation mode, if the display 20 is mounted at angle of 0 degrees originally, and needs to be adjusted to another angle, the display 20 does not need to be disassembled. Firstly, the fixing screw 104 is loosened slightly. Then, an operator only needs to slightly apply a force onto the top the display 20 downwardly because the first connecting rod 102 and the main support bracket 30 are in a mounted state, such that the fixing screw 104 is moved to a hook hole (10125, 10135), and thus the display 20 is tilted downward to a suitable angle due to the interlock effect. When the display 20 is tilted to a suitable position, the fixing screw 104 is fastened again, so as to be fixed in the hook hole (10125, 10135). Thus, the operation is completed. As described above, in the present invention, the staged angle adjustment of the display 20 can be achieved due to the different positions of the hook holes (10125, 10135) based on the distance between hook holes (10125, 10135). For example, the first hook hole can be designed to achieve a tilt angle of 5 degrees, and the second hook hole can be designed to achieve a tilt angle of 10 degrees, and so on.

FIG. 8 is a sixth schematic view of the embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 8, stageless adjustment can be achieved in the operation of the angle adjusting device 10 for a display of the present invention. The stageless adjustment means adjustment not limited to specific angles, in which through the chute 10124 of the present invention, the fixing screw 104 can be fixed at any position in the movement path of the chute 10124 to achieve the adjustment at unspecific angles, and improve the practicality of the whole system.

As described above, the present invention achieves the staged or stageless angle adjustment of the display according to actual mounting requirements through connecting rod interlocking. To sum up, the present invention can achieve the purposes of providing an angle adjusting device for a display that has a simple structure, is easy to operate and is cost effective according to the embodiments of the present invention,

However, it is understood that the descriptions above are only the preferable embodiments of the present invention, and not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. All equivalent modifications and changes made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention shall fall into the claims of the present invention.
