Abstract

A file folder comprises a transparent see-thru window portion between a folder body and a folder cover in such a manner that the stepped design nameplates in the file folder can be directly read through the transparent see-thru window portion. By such arrangements, when needing to search a desired file from many file folders, the user can directly search the desired file by reading the complete nameplates through the transparent see-thru window portions of the respective file folders without opening all the file folders, so that the files can be accessed quickly and conveniently.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a device for storing and classifying files; and more particularly to a file folder which is provided with a transparent see-thru window portion cooperating with nameplates for facilitating quick search of a desired file therein.

2. Description of the Prior Art

A conventional organ-style file folder 20 as shown in FIG. 6 is widely used by public for its advantages of fine protection effect, easy classification, also because it is easy to carry and convenient to put on shelf. However, the file folder 20 still has many drawbacks that need to be improved: the file folder 20 is provided with plural dividers 22 connected into an organ shape within a folder body 21, between the dividers 22 are defined plural holding grooves 23 for holding files, the folder body 21 is provided with a folder cover 24 extending from one side thereof, and the folder cover 24 can be flexibly bent to cover the holding grooves 23. The dividers 22 are provided with plural staggered nameplates 25 for recording and gluing marks or insertion of mark plates, so that the files can be identified and classified within the holding grooves 23. As known from the above structure, the dividers 22, the holding grooves 23 and the nameplates 25 on the dividers 22 are covered by the folder cover 24 after the files are held in the holding grooves 23, therefore, the user has to pull the folder cover 24 open before searching for the desired filers.

In addition, if there is only one file holder 20, searching the desired files is obviously not difficult, but if there are lots of file holders 20, it might not be so easy anymore to find out the desired files since the user has to open all the file holders to read each of the nameplates 25.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The technical problems to be solved:

The existing conventional organ-style file folders are inconvenient for searching a desired file from many file folders, because it needs to open all the file folders to read the nameplates to identify the desired file, therefore, the working efficiency is low, which is the technical problem to be solved.

The technical features for solving the above technical problems:

A file folder in accordance with the present invention comprises a folder body, plural dividers disposed in the folder body, a folder cover extending from one side of the folder body, and plural nameplates disposed on the respective dividers. The folder body is provided for accommodation of the plural dividers. The plural dividers define plural holding grooves therebetween, and each of the holding grooves is open toward an extending direction of the folder cover. The folder cover is allowed to be flexibly bent toward the other side of the folder body to cover the holding grooves. The plural nameplates are disposed on the respective dividers in a staggered manner and located in an open direction of the holding grooves. At a connecting position of the folder body and the folder cover is provided a transparent see-thru window portion which is located correspondingly to all the plural nameplates.

The present invention has the following advantages:

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a file folder which can facilitate quick search of a desired file and improve the working efficiency by reading the respective nameplates through the transparent see-thru window portion without opening all the file folders.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The present invention will be clearer from the following description when viewed together with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

Referring to FIGS. 1-4, a file folder 10 in accordance with the present invention comprises a folder body 11, plural dividers 12 disposed in the folder body 11, a folder cover 13 extending from one side of the folder body 11, plural nameplates 14 disposed on the respective dividers 12 and a binding strap 15.

The folder body 11 is provided for accommodation of the plural dividers 12 that are connected to one another into an organ shape.

The plural dividers 12 define plural holding grooves 121 therebetween, and each of the holding grooves 121 is open toward an extending direction of the folder cover 13.

The folder cover 13 can be flexibly bent toward the other side of the folder body 11 to cover the holding grooves 121.

The plural nameplates 14 are disposed on the respective dividers 12 in a staggered manner and located in the open direction of the holding grooves 121. The plural nameplates 14 are successively combined to the respective dividers 12 in a stepped manner and arranged into at least two rows, so that they can be prevented from overlapping one another and each of the nameplates 14 is clearly displayed.

The binding strap 15 is elastic and disposed on the folder body 11 to bind around the folder body 11 and the folder cover 13.

At a connecting position of the folder body 11 and the folder cover 13 is defined a hollow portion 101 which is located correspondingly to all the plural nameplates 14, and the hollow portion 101 is sealed with a transparent plate 102 to form a transparent see-thru window portion 16 at the connecting position of the folder body 11 and the folder cover 13 in such a manner that when the folder cover 13 covers the holding grooves 121, the plural nameplates 14 can be directly read through the transparent see-thru window portion 16.

Each of the nameplates 14 is defined with a through hole for insertion of a paper card.

As shown in FIGS. 1-2, the folder cover 13 of the file folder 10 can be opened for accessing files. When lots of file folders 10 are placed on a shelf, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the user can easily pick out a desired file by reading the respective nameplates 14 through the transparent see-thru window portions 16 of the respective file folders 10 without taking down and opening all the file folders 10.

While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it is clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

Claims

1. A file folder comprising: a folder body, plural dividers disposed in the folder body, a folder cover extending from one side of the folder body, and plural nameplates disposed on the respective dividers, wherein:

the folder body is provided for accommodation of the plural dividers;

the plural dividers define plural holding grooves therebetween, and each of the holding grooves is open toward an extending direction of the folder cover;

the folder cover is allowed to be flexibly bent toward the other side of the folder body to cover the holding grooves;

the plural nameplates are disposed on the respective dividers in a staggered manner and located in an open direction of the holding grooves;

at a connecting position of the folder body and the folder cover is provided a transparent see-thru window portion which is located correspondingly to all the plural nameplates.

2. The file folder as claimed in claim 1, wherein the transparent see-thru window portion is formed by sealing a transparent plate on a hollow portion.

3. The file folder as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plural dividers of the folder body are connected to one another into an organ shape.

4. The file folder as claimed in claim 1 further comprising a binding strap, wherein the binding strap is elastic and disposed on the folder body to bind around the folder body and the folder cover.

5. The file folder as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plural nameplates are disposed on the respective dividers in the staggered manner but not overlap one another.

6. The file folder as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plural nameplates are successively combined to the respective dividers in a stepped manner and arranged into at least two rows.
