2. Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 37 CFR 1.98.

The file folder is a best-selling product currently used to collect the paper sheets and files by many people, who call for upgrading of the functional aspects and applicability. Hence, breakthrough progress has to be made in the file folder industry when faced with the fierce market environment and diversified user demands.

There are currently available with a variety of file folders, of which the present invention relates particularly to a file folder that's provided with a bottom plate 01 and lateral plates 02, 03, 04, 05 arranged around the bottom plate 01 in a foldable state. Referring to FIG. 1(a), the file folder of such a prior art structure allows one to place files onto the bottom plate 01, then onto the lateral plates 02, 03 at left and right sides and the lateral plates 04, 05 at upper and lower parts of the bottom plate 01, so that the lateral plates 02, 03, 04, 05 can be covered onto the bottom plate 01 in the service state shown in FIG. 1(b) or FIG. 1(c).

Thus, to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it would be an advancement if the art to provide an improved structure that can significantly improve the efficacy.

Therefore, the inventor has provided the present invention of practicability after deliberate experimentation and evaluation based on years of experience in the production and development of related products.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The enhanced efficacy of the present invention is as follows:

Based on the unique configuration of the present invention wherein the “dual-purpose file folder” comprises: a main body, a first mobile folded plate, a second mobile folded plate, a folding locating position and a framing locating position. The first and second insertion strips on the first and second mobile folded plates can be inserted into the folding locating position. Alternatively, the first and second insertion strips can be inserted into the framing locating position, such that the 3D frame of the file folder can be positioned. This allows the file folder to be folded into the briefcase or formed into a stand-up folding box on the desk, thus improving the functions to meet the diversified user demands with better applicability.

The improvements brought about by this invention are as follow:

Based on the structural pattern of the present invention wherein the insertion strips and holes are matched, the file folder can be easily removed and assembled with better applicability.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIGS. 2-4 depict preferred embodiments of a dual-purpose file folder of the present invention, which, however, are provided for only explanatory objective for patent claims. Said file folder includes a main body 10 including a bearing plate 11, upper/lower folded plates 12, 13 and left/right folded plates 14, 15 arranged around the bearing plate 11 in a foldable state.

A first mobile folded plate 20 includes two first folding flanges 21, which are separately arranged at both ends of the right folded plate 15 of the main body 10 in a foldable state. A first insertion strip 211 is formed on the first folding flange 21.

A second mobile folded plate 30 includes two second folding flanges 31, which are separately arranged at both ends of the left folded plate 14 of the main body 10 in a foldable state. A second insertion strip 311 is formed on the second folding flange 31.

A folding locating position includes two first folding insertion holes 41 and two second folding insertion holes 42. The first folding insertion hole 41 is arranged on the right folded plate 15, and the second folding insertion hole 42 on the left folded plate 14.

A framing locating position includes two first framing insertion holes 51 and two second framing insertion holes 52. The first framing insertion holes 51 are separately arranged on the upper and lower folded plates 12, 13. The second framing insertion holes 52 are placed at interval on the first framing insertion hole 51.

When the first and second insertion strips 211, 311 on the first and second folding flanges 21, 31 are separately inserted into the first and second folding insertion holes 41, 42 of the folding locating position, the upper, lower, left and right folded plates 12, 13, 14, 15 of the main body 10 can be covered onto the bearing plate 11 in a folding state. Meanwhile, a locator 60 is used for limitation purposes. Alternatively, when the first and second insertion strips 211, 311 are separately inserted into first and second framing insertion holes 51, 52 of the framing locating position, the upper, lower, left and right folded plates 12, 13, 14, 15 of the main body 10 can be incorporated into a standing frame, thus forming a holding space 17 with the bearing plate 11.

Of which, the first and second insertion strips 211, 311 are available with several patterns. Referring to FIG. 5, the first and second folding flanges 21, 31 are provided with a retaining groove 70 at two adjacent sides. The first and second insertion strips 211, 311 are protruded towards the end from the retaining groove 70. Referring to FIG. 2, the first and second folding flanges 21, 31 are provided with a curved breaking joint 71, so the first and second insertion strips 211, 311 are protruded correspondingly to the curved breaking joint 71.

Referring to FIG. 3(d), the locator 60 includes an elastic strip 61 and a hook 62. Said elastic strip 61 is connected with the upper folded plate 12 of the main body 10, and the hook 62 is arranged correspondingly on the lower folded plate 13. The locator 60 is used for limitation of the file folder.

Of which, the upper and lower folded plates 12, 13 of the main body 10 are defined to form an internal surface 18 and an external surface 19 (in collaboration with FIG. 5). The first and second folding flanges 21, 31 on the left and right folded plates 14, 15 are aligned with either the internal surface 18 (shown in FIG. 6) or the external surface 19 (shown in FIG. 7).

Of which, a spaced flange 80 is arranged between the bearing plate 11 and the upper/lower, left/right folded plates 12, 13, 14, 15, and used to accommodate more folded files from the file folder to meet the user demands.

Based on above-specified structural configuration, the present invention is operated as follows:

Said file folder can be folded by the procedures shown in FIG. 3, wherein the first and second folding flanges 21, 31 are folded inwards (indicated by arrow L1), and the first and second insertion strips 211, 311 are separately inserted into the first and second folding insertion holes 41, 42 (shown in FIG. 3(b)). Next, the left and right folded plates 12, 13 are folded towards the bearing plate 11 (shown by arrow L2), such that the left and right folded plates 12, 13 can be covered onto the bearing plate 11 (shown in FIG. 3(c)). Then, the upper and lower folded plates 12, 13 are folded towards the bearing plate 11(indicated by arrow L3) and covered onto the bearing plate 11 for the folding of the file folder, as disclosed in FIG. 3(d).

Said file folder can be utilized in the other state as shown in FIG. 4, wherein the left folded plate 14 is folded in a standing state (indicated by arrow L4 in FIG. 4(a)), and the second insertion strip 311 is inserted into the second framing insertion hole 52, as shown in FIG. 4(b). Next, the right folded plate 15 is operated in the same manner, such that the file folder is shaped to form a holding space 17 (shown in FIG. 4(c)), enabling the users to place articles and files with better functionality.
