FAST-ASSEMBLING STOVE

A fast-assembling stove includes a stove body having two opposite sides to which two foldable cabinets of substantially the same top levels as a cooking surface are respectively coupled. Each foldable cabinet includes a collapsible frame rotatably coupled to inside and outside boards, a back board, a top board, and a bottom board coupled to circumferences of the inside and outside boards, and a front door panel. The stove body includes a cooker below which a central partition board is mounted. The inside board is shorter than the outside board, so that a gas hose extending from a gas canister received in the cabinet is allowed to extend through a gap between the top board and the inside board to couple to the cooker. A coupler mechanism is formed between top flanges of the outside board and the back board and the bottom of the top board.

(a) TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention generally relates to a fast-assembling stove, which comprises a stove body having opposite sides to which foldable cabinets that are of substantially the same level of a cooking surface of the stove are coupled for optionally receiving therein gas canisters and which comprises top boards of the cabinets and a central partition board arranged below a cooker of the stove to securely hold the expanded cabinets in position and shape, so that a novel structure of stove that is advantageous in fast assembling, occupying less space after collapsed, safe sheltering of gas canister from flame, and having a large capacity is provided.

(b) DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART

After people found that cooked foods are advantageous in better taste and food sanitation, cooking stoves became an essential part of human lives. A cooking stove is not necessarily installed indoors and for people loving outdoor activities, outdoor cooking facility is commonly installed or temporarily set up in for example yards or the wilds for facilitating doing cooking outdoor for people living outdoors or making camping.

Conventional outdoor cooking stoves are designed for easy carrying at the expense of sufficiency of article accommodation space in that knives and choppers, chopping boards, and packs of food cannot be stored close to the burners for easy access in doing cooking. Further, the conventional outdoor cooking stoves are often arranged in such a way that a gas canister is placed under the burners, making it close to the fire flame. This is undesired due to the potential hazard it might cause. Further, users often need to install additional cabinets for storage of articles and performance of cooking. These cabinets, although small in size, are not combined with the stove and show no sense of integration. In addition, such cabinets are often of various sizes so that tops of the cabinets, which may serve as a countertop, may have a significant vertical gap with respect to the level of the stove where cooking is made. This makes the operation awkward.

In view of these drawbacks of the conventional outdoor cooking stoves, the present invention aims to provide a fast-assembling stove that overcomes these problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a fast-assembling stove, which comprises a stove body having two opposite sides to which two foldable cabinets of substantially the same top levels as a cooking surface of the stove are respectively coupled. Each of the foldable cabinets comprises a collapsible cabinet frame that is rotatably coupled to an inside board and an outside board; a back board, a top board, and a bottom board that are set around and coupled to circumferences of the inside board and the outside board; and a front door panel. The stove body comprises a cooker under which a central partition board is mounted. The inside board is shorter than the outside board, whereby when the foldable cabinet receives a gas canister to position therein, a gas hose is allowed to extend through a gap formed between the top board and the inside board to couple to the cooker. Further, the outside board and the back board have top flanges, which form, with respect to a bottom of the top board, overlapping faces between which a coupler mechanism that can be released through horizontal movement with respect to the cooker. Fasteners, such as bolts, are provided to secure the outside board and the top board together, so that the top board covers and fixes the foldable cabinet. The central partition board is fixed through bolting to the two inside boards. As such, fast assembling, occupying less space after being folded, more safely sheltering a gas canister from flame, and providing a stove of large capacity are realized as the purposes of the present invention.

The foregoing objectives and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.

Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The following descriptions are exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.

FIG. 1 shows an overall perspective view of a fast-assembling stove according to the present invention and FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the fast-assembling stove according to the present invention. As shown in these drawings, the fast-assembling stove according to the present invention, generally designated at 10, comprises a stove body having opposite sides to which two foldable cabinets 20, 30 that are of substantially the same level as a cooking surface of the stove are respectively coupled. These foldable cabinets 20, 30 are of symmetrical configuration and arrangement, and thus only one of them, such as the foldable cabinet 20, will be described in details as an example. The description is certainly applicable to the other foldable cabinet. The foldable cabinet 20 comprises a collapsible cabinet frame 21 that is rotatably coupled to an inside board 22 and an outside board 23; a back board 25, a top board 26, and a bottom board 29 that are set around and coupled to circumferences of the inside board 22 and the outside board 23; and a front door panel 24. Further, shelf boards 27, 28 are selectively mounted inside an interior space of the cabinet that is delimited by the inside board 22, the outside board 23, and the back board 25.

The stove body 40 comprises a cooker 41 and a central partition board 42 mounted below the cooker 41. A grease collection tray 43 is arranged at the bottom of the cooker. Preferably, the grease collection tray 43 can be removed from a stove front side where a user may stay for operating the cooker 41 for cleaning. The inside board 22 is shorter than the outside board 23, whereby when the foldable cabinet 20, without the shelf boards 27, 28 removed, receives a gas canister (which is often of a standard size and configuration that are shown in the drawings) to position therein, a gas hose is allowed to extend through a gap 20A formed between the top board 26 and the inside board 22 for coupling to the cooker 41. The outside board 23 and the back board 25 have top flanges, which form, with respect to a bottom of the top board 26, overlapping faces between which a coupler mechanism 50 that can be released through horizontal movement with respect to the cooker 41. Fasteners, such as bolts 20B, 20C, are provided to secure the outside board 23 and the top board 26 together, so that the top board 26 covers and fixes the foldable cabinet 20 (30). Further, the top board 26 has a top surface that may serve as a countertop. In addition, the foldable cabinet 30 of the opposite side of the stove body has a top board 36 that has a surface that may be constructed to form a cooktop 30A.

Details of the coupler mechanism 50 will be described with reference to FIG. 3, which is an enlarged view of circled portion A of FIG. 2, and FIG. 4, which is an enlarge view of circled portion B of FIG. 2. As shown in these two enlarged views, the coupler mechanism 50 is composed of a plurality of horizontal hooks 23A, 25A, which are formed as projecting upward from the top flanges of the outside board 23 and the back board 25 and having hook tips pointing away from the cooker 41 shown in the previous drawing, a plurality of clamping and positioning notches 26A that is formed in the bottom of the top board 26 to respectively correspond to the horizontal hooks 23A projecting from the outside board 23, and a plurality of clamping and positioning slots 26B that is formed in the bottom of the top board 26 to respectively correspond to the horizontal hooks 25A projecting from the back board 25. In a first phase of a coupling process of the coupler mechanism illustrated in FIG. 5, an edge of the top board 26 is first aligned with the back board 25 and the top board 26 is moved along the back board 25 to approach the outside board 23 as illustrated in a second phase of the coupling process of the coupler mechanism shown in FIG. 6, whereby the horizontal hooks 25A projecting from the back board 25 are respectively set at locations corresponding to and entering the clamping and positioning slots 26B defined in the bottom of the top board 26. An operator may now feel that the top board 26 is forced to slightly descend and thus being hooked. At this time, the horizontal hooks 23A of the outside board 23 are also respectively set at locations corresponding to and entering side openings of the clamping and positioning notches 26A. Afterwards, as illustrated in a third phase of the coupling process of the coupler mechanism shown in FIG. 7, the top board 26 is pushed toward the outside board 23 to set the horizontal hooks 23A into the clamping and positioning notches 26A and the horizontal hooks 25A into the clamping and positioning slots 26B, whereby the top board 26 is secured and thus fixes the outside board 23 and the back board 25 in position, and prevents the expanded collapsible cabinet frame 21 and the back board 25 from undesired collapse caused by external forces.

FIGS. 8-16 show an assembling process of the stove according to the present invention. Firstly, the collapsible cabinet frame 21 is expanded, and then the back board 25, the top board 26, the shelf boards 27, 28, the bottom board 29, and the front door panel 24 are mounted to cover around and couple to the circumferences of the inside board 22 and the outside board 23. The two foldable cabinets 20, 30 that are formed through such an expansion and mounting process are connected to each other by the central partition board 42 straddling therebetween. The cooker 41 is then positioned and mounted between the two foldable cabinets 20, 30 in space above the central partition board 42 with side walls thereof tightly engaging and bolted to the top boards 26 and the back boards 25 to complete the assembling process. After the assembling, due to the arrangements that the movement of the top board 26 for separating from the outside board 23 and the back board 25 is constrained by the cooker 41 and the central partition board 42 helps reinforcing connection between the two foldable cabinet 20, 30 at a location below the cooker 41 with an additional advantage that articles can be stored in an accommodation space formed above the central partition board 42, advantages of overall structure of the stove being made stable and sound, carrying and assembling being easy, gas canisters being safely sheltered from flames, having a large capacity are thus realized.

It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.

While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.

Claims

1. A fast-assembling stove, which comprises a stove body having two opposite sides to which two foldable cabinets of substantially the same top levels as a cooking surface of the stove are respectively coupled, each of the foldable cabinets comprising a collapsible cabinet frame that is rotatably coupled to an inside board and an outside board; a back board, a top board, and a bottom board that are set around and coupled to circumferences of the inside board and the outside board; and a front door panel, characterized in that the stove body comprises a cooker and a central partition board mounted below the cooker, the inside board being shorter than the outside board, so that when the foldable cabinet receives a gas canister to position therein, a gas hose is allowed to extend through a gap formed between the top board and the inside board to couple to the cooker, the outside board and the back board having top flanges, which form, with respect to a bottom of the top board, overlapping faces between which a coupler mechanism that is allowed to release only through a horizontal movement with respect to the cooker, fasteners securing the outside board and the top board together, the top board covering and fixing the foldable cabinet, the central partition board being fixed through bolting to the two inside boards.

The fast-assembling stove according to claim 1, wherein the coupler mechanism comprises a plurality of horizontal hooks, which are formed as projecting upward from the top flanges of the outside board and the back board and having hook tips pointing away from the cooker, a plurality of clamping and positioning notches that is formed in the bottom of the top board to respectively correspond to the horizontal hooks projecting from the outside board, and a plurality of clamping and positioning slots that is formed in the bottom of the top board to respectively correspond to the horizontal hooks projecting from the back board.

3. The fast-assembling stove according to claim 1, wherein the cooker comprises a grease collection tray arranged at a bottom thereof, the grease collection tray being removable from a stove front side of the cooker for cleaning.

4. The fast-assembling stove according to claim 1, wherein the top board has a top surface forming a countertop.

5. The fast-assembling stove according to claim 1, wherein the top board has a top surface forming a cooktop.

A fast-assembling stove, which comprises a stove body having two opposite sides to which two foldable cabinets of substantially the same top levels as a cooking surface of the stove are respectively coupled, each of the foldable cabinets comprising a collapsible cabinet frame that is rotatably coupled to an inside board and an outside board; a back board, a top board, and a bottom board that are set around and coupled to circumferences of the inside board and the outside board; shelf boards; and a front door panel, characterized in that the stove body comprises a cooker and a central partition board mounted below the cooker, the inside board being shorter than the outside board, the outside board and the back board having top flanges, which form, with respect to a bottom of the top board, overlapping faces between which a coupler mechanism that is allowed to release only through a horizontal movement with respect to the cooker, fasteners securing the outside board and the top board together, the top board covering and fixing the foldable cabinet, the central partition board being fixed through bolting to the two inside boards.

7. The fast-assembling stove according to claim 6, wherein the coupler mechanism comprises a plurality of horizontal hooks, which are formed as projecting upward from the top flanges of the outside board and the back board and having hook tips pointing away from the cooker, a plurality of clamping and positioning notches that is formed in the bottom of the top board to respectively correspond to the horizontal hooks projecting from the outside board, and a plurality of clamping and positioning slots that is formed in the bottom of the top board to respectively correspond to the horizontal hooks projecting from the back board.

8. The fast-assembling stove according to claim 6, wherein the cooker comprises a grease collection tray arranged at a bottom thereof; the grease collection tray being removable from a stove front side of the cooker for cleaning.

9. The fast-assembling stove according to claim 6, wherein the top board has a top surface forming a countertop.

10. The fast-assembling stove according to claim 6, wherein the top board has a top surface forming a cooktop.
