VIBRATING CRAWL TOY

A vibrating crawl toy includes a housing. The housing includes a vibration motor therein. The vibration motor is located at a front end or a rear end of the housing. The housing further includes at least two rows of legs at a bottom thereof. The housing includes the vibration motor which is located at the front end or the rear end of the housing and the legs which are located at the bottom of the housing and used to walk. The vibration of the vibration motor brings the housing to sway and the housing brings the legs to advance on a table or on the ground, imitating walking of an animal. In particular, the present invention imitates an insect to crawl, enhancing amusement and fun.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a toy, and more particularly, to a vibrating crawl toy.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Toys are helpful for children to image and think. Toys also develop the athletic ability of children to train their sensation, to excite their imagination and to arouse their curiosity. In a word, toys are beneficial for children's body and mind.

Nowadays, parents pay more attention to children's education. In order to develop children's intelligence and athletic ability, parents always purchases various toys for their children, such as building blocks, cupboard toys, deformation toys, video games, figures and so on. These toys develop children's intelligence and provide fun.

A conventional electric toy has wheels at the bottom thereof The wheels are driven to move by an electric mechanism. This toy cannot imitate crawl of an insect. The toy moves through the wheels, which looks unreal and has less fun.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is to provide a vibrating crawl toy, which imitates walking and crawl of a real animal to enhance fun. The present invention is simple in configuration and can be assembled conveniently.

In the present invention, there is provided a vibrating crawl toy which comprises a housing. The housing comprises a vibration motor therein. The vibration motor is located at a front end or a rear end of the housing. The housing further comprises at least two rows of legs at a bottom thereof.

Preferably, the housing comprises a power source therein for supplying power to the vibration motor. The power source is located at the end opposite to the vibration motor.

Preferably, the housing comprises a push switch therein. The push switch is located between the vibration motor and the power source. The vibration motor, the push switch and the power source are electrically connected to form an electric circuit. The push switch is used to switch on/off the vibration motor.

Preferably, the housing is composed of an upper housing part and a lower housing part. The lower housing part has a plurality of recesses to receive the vibration motor, the push switch and the power source, respectively.

Preferably, the power source is a button battery.

Preferably, the lower housing part further comprises a battery lid corresponding to the button battery for replacement of the button battery.

Preferably, the legs are inclined rearward.

Preferably, the legs are rubber support rods.

Preferably, each row has three legs.

Preferably, each of the legs is in an “L” shape and includes a first part and a second part. One end of the first part is connected to one end of the second part.

Preferably, the first part is perpendicular to the second part.

Preferably, the legs are inclined rearward. The first part is perpendicular to the second part. The direction of the leg can be changed to adjust the height of the leg so as to change the center of gravity of the toy.

Compared to the prior art, the present invention has obvious advantages and effects. The housing includes the vibration motor which is located at the front end or the rear end of the housing and the legs which are located at the bottom of the housing and used to walk. The vibration of the vibration motor brings the housing to sway and the housing brings the legs to advance on a table or on the ground, imitating walking of an animal. In particular, the present invention imitates an insect to crawl, enhancing amusement and fun. In addition, the legs are rubber support rods to enhance the stability of the toy. When the toy crawls, the legs can walk at a fast speed. When the toy stops crawling, the legs can stand steady. Besides, the vibration motor, the push switch and the power source are electrically connected to form an electric circuit. The vibration motor is controlled by the push switch. The present invention is operated with ease and beneficial for competition.

The legs of the present invention are inclined rearward. Each leg includes a first part and a second part. The first part is perpendicular to the second part. When the second parts of the legs are arranged toward the rear end of the housing, the height of each leg is equal. The center of gravity of the toy is forward, so the toy will move forward after the toy is vibrated. When the second parts of the legs are arranged toward the front end of the housing, the center of gravity of the toy will be rearward. Thus, the toy will move backward after the toy is vibrated. When the second part of the front left leg is turned left relative to the housing and the second parts of the other legs are turned toward the rear end of the housing, the bottom of the front left leg is lower than the bottoms of the other legs and the center of gravity is toward the front left of the toy. The toy will turn left after the toy is vibrated. Accordingly, the toy of the present invention can have different advance routes.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As shown in FIG. 1 through FIG. 3, the vibrating crawl toy according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a housing 1. In this embodiment, the housing 1 is covered with an animal-shaped cover 2 which can be in an insect shape or other animal shape. The housing 1 comprises a vibration motor 3 therein. The vibration motor 3 is located at a front end or a rear end of the housing 1. In this embodiment, the vibration motor 3 is located at the front end of the housing 1. The housing 1 further comprises at least two rows of legs 4 at a bottom thereof to walk. In this embodiment, the legs 4 are arranged in left and right rows.

The housing 1 is composed of an upper housing part 11 and a lower housing part 12. The lower housing part 12 has a plurality of recesses 121. The vibration motor 3 is disposed in the recess 121 located at the front end of the lower housing part 12. The other recesses 121 are provided with a power source 6 and a push switch 5. The power source 6 supplies power to the vibration motor 3. The push switch 5 is used to switch on/off the vibration motor 3. The power source 6 is disposed at the recess 12 located at the rear end of the housing 1. The push switch 5 is located between the vibration motor 3 and the power source 6. The vibration motor 3, the push switch 5 and the power source 6 are electrically connected to form an electric circuit.

In this embodiment, the power source 6 is a button battery. The lower housing part 12 further comprises a battery lid 122 corresponding to the button battery. The battery lid 122 is detachably connected to the lower housing part 12 by a screw 7, so that the button battery can be replaced with a new one.

Upper ends of the legs 4 are fixed to the housing 1. In the embodiment, the legs 4 are inclined rearward. Each row has three legs 4. The two rows of legs 4 are symmetrically disposed at left and right sides of the housing 1 for the toy to stand or walk steady.

To operate the present invention, the push switch 5 is turned on, such that the vibration motor 3 and the power source 6 are electrically connected to form a closed circuit. The vibration motor 3 drives the entire toy to sway, and the housing 1 brings the legs 4 to advance on a table or on the ground, like a real animal to walk. When the push switch 5 is turned off, the vibration motor 3 and the power source 6 are switched off to stop movement of the toy. The toy stands with the legs 4.

The feature of the present invention is that the housing includes the vibration motor which is located at the front end or the rear end of the housing and the legs which are located at the bottom of the housing and used to walk. The vibration of the vibration motor brings the housing to sway and the housing brings the legs to advance on a table or on the ground, imitating walking of an animal. In particular, the present invention imitates an insect to crawl, enhancing amusement and fun. In addition, the legs are rubber support rods to enhance the stability of the toy. Referring to FIG. 4, the legs 4 of the present invention are inclined rearward. Each leg 4 includes a first part 41 and a second part 42. The first part 41 is perpendicular to the second part 42. When the second parts 42 of the legs 4 are arranged toward the rear end of the housing 1, the height of each leg 4 is equal. The center of gravity of the toy is forward, so the toy will move forward after the toy is vibrated. When the second parts 42 of the legs 4 are arranged toward the front end of the housing 1, the center of gravity of the toy will be rearward. Thus, the toy will move backward after the toy is vibrated, as shown in FIG. 5. Referring to FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, when the second part 42 of the front left leg 4 is turned left relative to the housing 1 and the second parts 42 of the other legs 4 are turned toward the rear end of the housing 1, the bottom of the front left leg 4 is lower than the bottoms of the other legs 4 and the center of gravity is toward the front left of the toy. The toy will turn left after the toy is vibrated. Accordingly, the toy of the present invention can have different advance routes to enhance the fun and change.

Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.

Claims

1. A vibrating crawl toy comprising a housing, the housing comprising a vibration motor therein, the vibration motor being located at a front end or a rear end of the housing, the housing further comprising at least two rows of legs at a bottom thereof.

2. The vibrating crawl toy as claimed in claim 1, wherein the housing comprises a power source therein for supplying power to the vibration motor, and the power source is located at the end opposite to the vibration motor.

3. The vibrating crawl toy as claimed in claim 2, wherein the housing comprises a push switch therein, the push switch is located between the vibration motor and the power source, the vibration motor, the push switch and the power source are electrically connected to form an electric circuit, and the push switch is used to switch on/off the vibration motor.

4. The vibrating crawl toy as claimed in claim 3, wherein the housing is composed of an upper housing part and a lower housing part, and the lower housing part has a plurality of recesses to receive the vibration motor, the push switch and the power source, respectively.

5. The vibrating crawl toy as claimed in claim 4, wherein the power source is a button battery.

6. The vibrating crawl toy as claimed in claim 5, wherein the lower housing part further comprises a battery lid corresponding to the button battery for replacement of the button battery.

7. The vibrating crawl toy as claimed in claim 1, wherein the legs are inclined rearward.

8. The vibrating crawl toy as claimed in claim 1, wherein the legs are rubber support rods.

9. The vibrating crawl toy as claimed in claim 1, wherein each row has three legs.

10. The vibrating crawl toy as claimed in claim 1, wherein the legs are inclined rearward and each of the legs includes a first part and a second part.

11. The vibrating crawl toy as claimed in claim 10, wherein the first part is perpendicular to the second part.
