Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an electrical household appliance having an outer sheet adapted to be accommodating a screen and control buttons.

The present invention relates to an electrical household appliance and more specifically to a refrigerator conventionally having an evaporator unit with an outer sheet adapted to be accommodating a control panel and a transparent screen.

A refrigerator's evaporator unit outer sheet is typically adapted to comprise a screen and control buttons in a conventional manner. The present invention, on the other hand, provides a more compact and simplified mounting design according to which said screen and control panel are installed directly without using a special frame. To this end a design advantage is inherently obtained due to this arrangement.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An object of the present invention is to provide a more compact and simplified mounting design for a refrigerator's evaporator unit having an outer sheet adapted to be accommodating a control panel and a transparent screen.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a refrigerator evaporator unit having a screen and a control panel installed directly without using a special frame.

The present invention provides a refrigerator conventionally having an evaporator unit with an outer sheet. Said outer sheet is conventionally provided with openings to accommodate control buttons and a screen. The household appliance and in particular the refrigerator according to the invention has an evaporator unit with an outer sheet for covering and closing a control panel electronic circuitry of said evaporator unit. Said control panel electronic circuitry has a display unit covered by a transparent cover which is introduced in between a control panel electronics fixing element and said evaporator outer sheet at both sides of its peripheral part.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

The present invention proposes an electrical household appliance and namely a refrigerator conventionally having an evaporator unit. Said evaporator unit has an outer sheet (11) for covering and closing the same. FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 respectively demonstrate said outer shell's (11) inner and outer surfaces.

The evaporator unit conventionally has control panel electronic circuitry (12), typically allowing users control the functioning of the unit. Further, a control panel electronic equipment fixing element (13) is provided. A transparent screen cover (14) is typically used for covering the surface of the display unit (16).

FIG. 3 demonstrates the control panel electronic equipment fixing element (13) separately. Said fixing element (13) is placed over said control panel electronic circuitry (12) as seen in FIG. 4. FIG. 4 also demonstrates the countersunk screws (15) as seen in an encircled manner. FIG. 6 demonstrates a countersunk screw (15) and FIG. 7 demonstrates the transparent cover (14) for the display unit (16).

According to the present invention, the transparent cover (14) is held in contact with said display unit (16) and is introduced in between said control panel electronics fixing element (13) and said evaporator outer sheet (11) at both sides of its peripheral part. In other words, said evaporator outer sheet (11) presses on said transparent cover (14) and said transparent cover (14) presses on said control panel electronics fixing element (13).

To this end, said countersunk screws (15) are fixed on said evaporator outer sheet (11) as seen FIG. 4 such that said countersunk screws (15) fasten said control panel electronic circuitry (12) on said evaporator outer sheet (11) via said panel electronics fixing element (13). Said control panel electronics fixing element (13) comprises a plurality of claws (17) as seen in FIG. 8 for engagement with the control panel electronic circuitry (12).

In a nutshell, the present invention proposes a household appliance and in particular a refrigerator having an evaporator unit with an outer sheet (11) for covering and closing a control panel electronic circuitry (12) of said evaporator unit. Said control panel electronic circuitry (12) has a display unit (16) is covered by a transparent cover (14) which is introduced in between a control panel electronics fixing element (13) and said evaporator outer sheet (11) at both sides of its peripheral part.
