Description
FIELD

The present invention relates to hygienic underpants provided with a tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section.

BACKGROUND

Underpants of related art cause a wearer to feel discomfort because the scrotum comes into contact with the thighs. Sewed irregularities of the underpants come into contact with a portion where the thighs and scrotum come into contact with each other and rub the portion whenever the legs move, resulting in pain. A portion around the scrotum becomes hot and stuffy, resulting in an uncomfortable wearing sensation.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention has been made in view of the circumstances described above. An object of the present invention is to provide hygienic underpants that prevent direct contact between the penis/scrotum and the thighs, have no sewed irregularities present in a portion where the thighs and the scrotum come into contact with each other so that the underpants softly come into contact with the portion, and prevent a portion around the scrotum from becoming hot and stuffy.

Hygienic underpants according to the present invention comprise a underpants body including a front pubic portion and a back hip portion, a lower end of the front pubic portion and a lower end of the back hip portion separate from each other with a portion that comes into contact with a penis and scrotum cut off the underpants body, and a tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section that protrudes outward from the lower end of the front pubic portion and the lower end of the back hip portion and accommodates the penis and the scrotum. An upper front end of the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section is sewed to the lower end of the front pubic portion of the underpants body and an upper back end of the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section is sewed to the lower end of the back hip portion of the underpants body so that the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section is suspended by the front pubic portion and the back hip portion of the underpants body, and side portions of the penis/scrotum accommodation section are so interposed between the thighs and the scrotum that upper ends of the side portions of the penis/scrotum accommodation section approach roots of the thighs and the scrotum and hence the thighs and the scrotum do not come into direct contact with each other.

The hygienic underpants according to the present invention prevent the scrotum from coming into direct contact with the thighs or the sweaty scrotum does not stick to the thighs because the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section separates the scrotum and the thighs, providing comfort. Further, since the base member of the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section is covered with a thin, soft, knitted fabric, the penis and the scrotum softly can come into contact with the thighs. Moreover, since the penis/scrotum accommodation section is formed of a knitted material that readily desorbs moisture, the hygienic underpants breathe well and desorb a hot, stuffy atmosphere, providing a comfortable wearing sensation. Since the penis/scrotum accommodation section has a tubular shape and readily expands and contracts, the penis can erect smoothly.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

An embodiment of hygienic underpants according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 is an overall perspective view of an example of hygienic underpants 100 according to the present embodiment. In FIG. 1, the hygienic underpants 100 are viewed obliquely upward. The hygienic underpants 100 include an underpants body 1 and a penis/scrotum accommodation section 7. FIGS. 2A and 2B show the underpants body 1 and the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 separately.

The underpants body 1 looks like panties (women's underpants) of related art and is produced by using cut knitted fabrics made, for example, of a nylon-and-cotton blend, as shown in FIG. 2A. It is, however, noted that a lower end 4a of a front pubic portion 4 and a lower end 5a of a back hip portion 5 are separated from each other with a portion that comes into contact with the penis and the scrotum cut off the underpants body 1. The underpants body 1 also has a waist opening 2 and thigh openings 3. A lower part of each of the thigh openings 3 is cut out, as shown in FIG. 2A

On the other hand, the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 is formed into a tubular shape that accommodates the penis and the scrotum, as shown in FIG. 2B. An upper front end 7a of the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 is sewed to the lower end 4a of the front pubic portion of the underpants body 1, and an upper back end 7b of the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 is sewed to the lower end 5a of the back hip portion of the underpants body 1, whereby the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 is suspended by the front pubic portion 4 and the back hip portion 5 of the underpants body 1. As a result, the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 protrudes outward and downward from the lower end 4a of the front pubic portion 4 and the lower end 5a of the back hip portion 5 and can accommodate the penis and the scrotum. At a lower portion of the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7, a penis/scrotum opening 8 is formed, as shown in FIG. 1.

Further, since the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 is suspended by the front pubic portion 4 and the back hip portion 5 of the underpants body 1, upper ends 7e and 7f of side portions 7c and 7d of the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 approach the roots of the thighs and the scrotum, whereby the side portions 7c and 7d of the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 are interposed between the thighs and the scrotum, and the thighs and the scrotum can be prevented from directly coming into contact with each other.

FIG. 3 shows an example of how to produce the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7. The penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 is produced, for example, in the following procedure:

First, a base member 70 formed of a strip of fabric that readily desorbs moisture and expands/contracts, such as a strip of nylon fabric, is prepared, and an upper portion of the base member 70 is so folded and sewed that the upper portion of the base member 70 forms a folded portion 71 (Steps A and B). The folded portion 71 not only ensures sufficient strength required when the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 is sewed to the lower end 4a of the front pubic portion and the lower end 5a of the back hip portion of the underpants body 1 but also more readily expands/contracts than the other portions.

The outer surface of the strip of base member 70 is then covered with a thin, soft, knitted fabric 72. The fabric 72 is, for example, a thin, soft, knitted fabric used for women's panty stockings. Alternatively, the fabric 72 may be formed in advance into a tubular shape that can accommodate the entire strip of base member 70 including the folded portion 71, and the strip of base member 70 may be inserted into the tubular soft fabric 72, as shown in FIG. 3 (Step C).

Both ends of the strip of base member 70 covered with the soft fabric 72 are then so sewed to each other that the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 is produced (Steps D and E). In this process, the upper folded portion of the base member 70 preferably faces outside, whereby irregularities of the folded portion 71 will not come into direct contact with the penis and the scrotum, which is preferable in the viewpoint of comfortable wearing sensation.

At the last step, the upper front end 7a of the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 is sewed to the lower end 4a of the front pubic portion of the underpants body 1, and the upper back end 7b of the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 is sewed to the lower end 5a of the back hip portion of the underpants body 1. The hygienic underpants 100 are thus produced.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the hygienic underpants 100 produced as described above and put on the body of a user.

The user inserts the legs through a waist opening 2 of the hygienic underpants 100 and then through thigh openings 3, as shown in FIG. 4. The user then pulls the waist opening 2 toward the torso 12 with the legs inserted through the thigh openings 3, and the penis 10 and the scrotum 11 are accommodated in the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section 7. At this point, since the upper ends 7e and 7f of the side portions 7c and 7d of the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 approach the roots of the thighs 9 and the scrotum 11, the side portions 7c and 7d separate the penis 10 and the scrotum 11 from the thighs 9. Since each of the side portions 7c and 7d is formed of a nylon, knitted fabric, which readily desorbs moisture, the sweaty scrotum will not stick to or rub the thighs 9, unlike in underpants of related art. Further, the hygienic underpants 100 ensure the comfort of the user because they desorb moisture.

Moreover, since the outer surface of the base member 70 of the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 is covered with the thin, soft, knitted fabric 72 (see FIG. 3), the penis and the scrotum softly come into contact with the thighs with the thin, soft, knitted fabric therebetween, the hygienic underpants 100 ensure greater comfort of the user.

Further, since the penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 has a tubular structure that readily expands and contracts, the penis can erect smoothly. Moreover, when the user wants to urinate, the user can draw the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 out of the trousers with the penis covered with the tubular penis/scrotum accommodation section 7 but with the glans penis exposed through a penis/scrotum opening 8 for urination.
