BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats, and more particularly to a slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats to provide an excellent positioning effect.

2. Description of Related Art

With reference to FIG. 9, a toilet seat 90 supports a user, is similar to a saddle and has a shape, a seat hole 91, an outer rim 92 and an inner rim 93. The shape of the toilet seat 90 is similar to an ellipse.

The seat hole 91 is formed through a central area of the toilet seat 90 and has a shape similar to an ellipse.

The outer rim 92 is formed at an outer edge of the toilet seat 90 and has a shape similar to an ellipse. The outer rim 92 in a counterclockwise sequence has a left edge 921, a left-front edge 922, a front edge 923, a right-front edge 924 and a right edge 925.

The inner rim 93 is formed at an inner edge of the toilet seat 90, is surrounded by the outer rim 92 and has a shape similar to an ellipse.

Because the toilet seat 90 in a public toilet is used by many people, the toilet seat 90 is easily contaminated by viruses or bacteria. Consequently, a user may easily get skin diseases or venereal diseases. Therefore, lots of conventional sanitary covers for toilet seats 90 have been invented to prevent the contamination.

Conventional sanitary covers for toilet seats are placed on a top of the toilet seat 90 and are adhered to the toilet seat 90 or have hook sections to attach to the toilet seat 90. However, positioning effect of the conventional sanitary cover is insufficient and the conventional sanitary cover easily slides or falls.

The conventional sanitary cover adhering to the toilet seat 90 has many problems. For example, adhesive mounted on the sanitary cover may lose stickiness. A user may be allergic to the adhesive. The sanitary cover has to be carefully aligned the toilet seat 90 for adherence.

The conventional sanitary cover has hook sections hooking the outer rim 92 and the inner rim 93. However, the toilet seats 90 have many sizes and the sanitary cover of a single size cannot fit with toilet seats 90 of different sizes.

To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention tends to provide a slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats to mitigate the aforementioned problems.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

FIG. 1 is a top view of a first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a perspective view in partial section of the present invention in FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is an enlarged cross sectional side view of the present invention in FIG. 1 showing that the present invention encloses the toilet seat 90. FIG. 4 is a top view of the present invention in FIG. 3 showing that the present invention encloses the toilet seat 90. With reference to FIGS. 1 to 4, a first embodiment of a slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats in accordance with the present invention is a plastic bag that is made of polymer material, such as polyethylene. The slip-in type sanitary cover comprises two opposite sides, a bag opening 10, two side edges 20, a closed side, a bag space 40 and an excreting hole 50.

The bag opening 10 is formed at a side of the slip-in type sanitary cover. The side edges 20 are respectively located at the opposite sides of the slip-in type sanitary cover. The closed side of the slip-in type sanitary cover is opposite to the bag opening 10. Preferably, the closed side of the slip-in type sanitary cover is a straight sealing strip 30.

The bag space 40 is formed in the slip-in type sanitary cover for holding a toilet seat 90 inside and is formed between the bag opening 10, the side edges 20 and the closed side of the slip-in type sanitary cover.

The excreting hole 50 is formed through a central section of the slip-in type sanitary cover, communicates with the bag space 40 and has two openings 51 respectively located two opposite sides of the excreting hole 50.

Preferably, the first embodiment of the slip-in type sanitary cover further has two sealing units 60 respectively connected with the side edges 20. The two opposite ends of each sealing unit 60 are respectively connected with a corresponding one of the side edges 20 of the slip-in type sanitary cover and a central segment of the sealing strip 30. Each sealing unit 60 is a linear strip to form a shape of the bag space 40 as a convex hexagon.

With reference to FIGS. 1 and 4, the slip-in type sanitary cover is about to enclose the toilet seat 90. Two top sections 70 of the slip-in type sanitary cover adjacent to the bag opening 10 are grabbed and the slip-in type sanitary cover is pulled to enclose the toilet seat 90 completely via the bag opening 10. The slip-in type sanitary cover is pulled until the sealing strip 30 abuts the front edge 923 of the toilet seat 90.

The sum of numbers of the side edges 20, the sealing units 60 and the sealing strip 30 is five and the side edges 20, the sealing units 60 and the sealing strip 30 are respectively tangent to the outer rim 92 of the toilet seat 90. When a user sits on the slip-in type sanitary cover in accordance with the present invention, the slip-in type sanitary cover is tightened by the weight of the user. Accordingly, the side edges 20, the sealing units 60 and the sealing strip 30 can respectively and tightly abut the left edge 921, the left-front edge 922, the front edge 923, the right-front edge 924 and the right edge 925 of the outer rim 92 of the toilet seat 90. Consequently, the slip-in type sanitary cover can be securely positioned on the toilet seat 90.

The excreting hole 50 corresponds to and aligns the seat hole 91. Therefore, the user can excrete via the excreting hole 50. After the excretion, two bottom sections 80 of the slip-in type sanitary cover adjacent to the sealing strip 30 are grabbed. The slip-in type sanitary cover is pulled to fall off from the toilet seat 90 and can be thrown away.

With reference to FIG. 5, a second embodiment of the slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats in accordance with the present invention is substantially the same as the first embodiment.

The closed side of the slip-in type sanitary cover is a straight sealing strip 30A.

The slip-in type sanitary cover has two sealing units 60A respectively connected with the side edges 20A.

Each sealing unit 60A comprises three continuous linear strips 61A to make a shape of the bag space 40 become a convex decagon.

The sum of numbers of the side edges 20A, the linear strips 61A and the sealing strip 30A is nine and the side edges 20A, the linear strips 61A and the sealing strip 30A are also respectively tangent to the outer rim 92 of the toilet seat 90. Because the sum of numbers of the side edges 20A, the linear strips 61A and the sealing strip 30A of the second embodiment is larger than that of the side edges 20, the sealing units 60 and the sealing strip 30 of the first embodiment, the load applied to each side of the second embodiment of the slip-in type sanitary cover due to the weight of the user is smaller than that applied to each side of the first embodiment. The structural strength of the second embodiment is enhanced. Accordingly, the second embodiment can be made of a material thinner than that for the first embodiment for achieving the same structural strength.

With reference to FIG. 6, a third embodiment of the slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats in accordance with the present invention is substantially the same as the first embodiment.

The closed side of the slip-in type sanitary cover is a straight sealing strip 30B. The slip-in type sanitary cover has a sealing unit 60B. The seal unit 60B is a half ellipse being tangent to the sealing strip 30B and has two ends respectively connected with the side edges 20B of the slip-in type sanitary cover.

The side edges 20B and the sealing unit 60B are shaped like as an ellipse and can conform to the shape of the toilet seat 90. Therefore, the sealing unit 60B can be regarded as a group comprising infinite tangent lines which are tangent to the outer rim 92 of the toilet seat 90.

With reference to FIG. 7, a fourth embodiment of the slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats in accordance with the present invention is substantially the same as the first embodiment.

The closed side of the slip-in type sanitary cover is a straight sealing strip 30C. The slip-in type sanitary cover has a sealing unit 60C. The sealing unit 60C has dots which are tangent to the outer rim 92 of the toilet seat 90 by any format, such as multiple dotted lines 61C arranged in radius. Each dotted line 61C has a distal end. A curve passing through the distal ends of the sealing units 60C is half-elliptic. The side edges 20C and the sealing strip 30C are tangent to the outer rim 92 of the toilet seat 90.

The sealing unit 60,60A,60B,60C could be any format as long as the sealing unit 60,60A,60B,60C is tangent to the outer rim 92 of the toilet seat 90, the present invention does not limit the shape, width or number of the sealing unit 60,60A,60B,60C.

With reference to FIG. 8, a fifth embodiment of the slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats in accordance with the present invention is substantially the same as the first embodiment. The fifth embodiment does not have the sealing unit 60,60A,60B,60C. The closed side of the slip-in type sanitary cover is a straight sealing strip 30D. The sum of numbers of the side edges 20D and the sealing strip 30D is three. The side edges 20D and the sealing strip 30D are tangent to the outer rim 92 of the toilet seat 90. Because the sum of numbers of the side edges 20D and the sealing strip 30D of the fifth embodiment is smaller than the sum of numbers of the side edges 20, the sealing units 60 and the sealing strip 30 of the first embodiment, the fifth embodiment is thicker than the first embodiment to achieve the same structural strength.

In conclusion, the present invention is to resolve the problems that the conventional sanitary cover easily slides and is difficultly positioned. The present invention tends to provide the slip-in type sanitary cover having an essential characteristic that the slip-in type sanitary cover is bag-shaped. The slip-in type sanitary cover can directly enclose the toilet seat 90 and be stretched tight by a pressure of a user's sitting. Each side of the slip-in type sanitary cover tightly abuts the toilet seat 90 for positioning because of a tension phenomenon caused by the user's sitting. The present invention does not belong to the prior art, such as an improved toilet seat or the conventional sanitary covers adhering to or hooking the toilet seat 90. Therefore, the differences between the present invention and the prior art are not obvious at the time the present invention was made to a person having ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention pertains. The present invention involves an inventive step.

From the above description, it is noted that the present invention has the following advantages:

1. Easy Position:

Because the slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats is bag-shaped, the slip-in type sanitary cover can easily enclose the toilet seat 90. While a user sits on the slip-in type sanitary cover, the slip-in type sanitary cover is tightened. Accordingly, the slip-in type sanitary cover is easily and securely positioned on the toilet seat 90 and will not fall off from the toilet seat 90.

2. Tight Contact:

The sealing unit 60,60A,60B,60C, the sealing strip 30,30A,30B,30C,30D and the side edges 20,20A,20B,20C,20D are tangent to the outer rim 92 of the toilet seat 90, so the slip-in type sanitary cover can tightly contact and be securely positioned on the toilet seat 90.

3. Easy Carry:

Because the structure (bag-shaped, the sealing unit 60,60A,60B,60C, the sealing strip 30,30A,30B,30C,30D and the side edges 20,20A,20B,20C,20D) of the slip-in type sanitary cover is capable of be positioned on the toilet seat 90 securely, the slip-in type sanitary cover can be made of soft and thin film, such as a plastic bag. Accordingly, the slip-in type sanitary cover can be folded and be easily carried.

4. Suitable for Toilet Seats Of Similar Sizes:

The width of the slip-in type sanitary cover can be enlarged to have a sufficient space to enclose toilet seats 90 of similar sizes. Although the slip-in type sanitary cover is large, the slip-in type sanitary cover can still be tightened to tightly contact the outer rim 92 of the toilet seat 90 and can fit with toilet seats 90 of different but similar sizes. Moreover, the slip-in type sanitary cover of a single size can fit with toilet seats 90 of similar sizes. Therefore, the manufacturing process of the slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats is also easy and the slip-in type sanitary covers of numerous sizes are unnecessary.

5. Convenient Use:

The slip-in type sanitary cover is easily pulled to enclose the toilet seat 90, so the slip-in type sanitary cover is convenient for use and instead of being carefully aligned the toilet seat 90 like as the conventional sanitary cover.

6. Easy Manufacturing:

The manufacturing process of the slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats is substantially as easy as that of the conventional plastic bag. Moreover, an additional process is applied to cut the excreting hole 50. The sealing unit 60,60A,60B,60C can be additionally formed on the slip-in type sanitary cover by a heat-sealing machine.

7. Non-Absorbency:

The slip-in type sanitary cover for toilet seats is non-absorbent for water, so the slip-in type sanitary cover does not get wet when splashed by dirty water. Because the slip-in type sanitary cover is non-absorbent, the slip-in type sanitary cover does not absorb dirty water to contaminate skins of the user.

Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
