Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a screen golf system and a method of displaying a striking state and, more particularly, to a screen golf system in which impact sensors located near a golf ball sense a position where the golf club of a golf player strikes a blow against the ground and strike force exerted to the ground when the golf player swings and the detected position and strike force are outputted in order for the golf player to see the detected position and strike force so that information about a striking state necessary to embody various ball diversion techniques can be provided to the golf player.

BACKGROUND ART

A screen golf system is recently being commercialized which provides an indoor environment similar to a field golf course environment and enables a golf player to have an effect of striking or putting a golf ball in a real field golf course.

In this screen golf system, in the state in which information about a surrounding environment similar to a real field golf course is projected and displayed on a large-sized screen installed indoors, a golf player selects a golf club for striking a golf ball and strikes or puts the golf ball placed on the ground toward the screen.

When the golf player hits or putts the golf ball as described above, a main computer detects a club head swung by the golf player and a golf ball flown by the hit through a plurality of sensors, analyzes a result of the swing based on the detected club head and the detected golf ball, and displays the speed, direction, and escape angle of the golf ball flown by the hit, the track of the club head, and so on according to a result of the analysis.

It is however difficult to correct a swing motion by using the conventional screen golf system because a strike position or force when a golf club does not hit a golf ball correctly, but hits the ground, such as a shot to hit the ground behind the golf ball, is not displayed when the golf player hits a golf ball placed at a designated position of the ground by using a golf club.
