An easily installable decoration tile is disclosed, whereby a plurality of tiles can be tightly and securely fastened by allowing the coupling lugs to be inserted into the coupling grooves, and allowing the rugged lugs to be inserted into the rugged grooves, to increase coupling force between tiles, to increase durability of the tiles after construction works are done, to dispense with use of adhesives and to free dwellers from being worried about hazards, and surfaces of coupling lugs and rugged lugs, and coupling grooves and rugged grooves formed on the distal end of the decoration tiles are coated with aerosol to form a coated layer to prevent the decoration tiles from being polluted with liquid foreign objects and to prevent the decoration tiles from being discolored and generating odor.

Description

Pursuant to 35 U.S.C.§119 (a), this application claims the benefit of earlier filing date and right of priority to Korean Patent Application No. 10-2011-0042327, filed on May 4, 2011, the contents of which is hereby incorporated by reference in their entirety.

BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE

1. Field

The present disclosure relates to a decoration tile used as a finishing material on an indoor floor of a building or an apartment house, and more particularly to an easily installable decoration tile (hereinafter referred to as “deco-tile”), wherein one distal end of the tile is formed with coupling lugs and rugged (prominence and depression, unevenness, irregularity) lugs, and the other opposite distal end of the tile is formed with coupling grooves and rugged grooves, whereby a plurality of tiles can be insertedly installed by allowing the coupling lugs to be inserted into the coupling grooves, and allowing the rugged lugs to be tightly and securely inserted into the rugged grooves, to increase coupling force between the tiles, to prevent the tiles from being discrete and disengaged, and to simplify construction work, and whereby no adhesive is used due to a plurality of tiles being tightly coupled to provide no harm to dwellers and to provide durability to the tiles. Particularly, the coupling lugs and rugged lugs formed on a distal end of the tile and the coupling grooves and rugged grooves are coated with aerosol to form a coated layer to prevent the tiles from being polluted by fluid foreign objects.

2. Background

Generally, an inner floor of building or an apartment house is used with such finishing materials as decoration tiles or woods. However, woods as raw materials for finishing materials of buildings and apartment houses are widely employed of late in consideration of environment-friendliness and aesthetic values.

Flooring materials for indoor floor may be classified into woods, decoration tiles and laminated paper, where the wood floor is used with raw wood itself.

The wood floor is advantageous in that texture of natural wood is beautiful, and excellent in indoor humidity control, and any deformation of woods can be restored to normal shape, once appropriate humidity and temperature are provided and maintained. However, there is a disadvantage in that work cost is very expensive.

The decoration tiles are widely used as flooring materials in a house or an office, because they are inexpensive and scratch-resistant, although the decoration tiles are made with PVC materials printed with various patterns to embody floor textures. The decoration tiles are formed in various patterns by being provided with natural marble, natural wood and carpet textures to allow the patterns to have interior decoration effects.

Each of the flooring materials thus mentioned are manufactured in a predetermined size, and attached to indoor floors using adhesives. The problem is that the flooring materials are attached to the indoor floors using adhesives, which in turn produce harmful substances causing skin diseases and/or respiratory diseases to the disadvantage of dwellers.

In order to solve the aforementioned problems, in prior art as illustrated in FIG. 1, one distal end of wood floor or a deco tile is formed with a coupling lug (100), and the other opposite distal end is formed with a coupling groove (200) to allow the coupling lug (100) to be inserted into the coupling groove (200), whereby many wood floors or deco tiles are mutually coupled to form an indoor floor surface to reduce an amount of adhesives and to enhance workability.

However, the coupling method according to the prior art is disadvantageous in that coupling power between wood floors or deco tiles decreases to cause the wood floors or deco tiles to become discrete or disengaged, and the wood floors or deco tiles become dislodged due to insecure coupling if the wood floors or deco tiles are disengaged or separated from a floor surface.

That is, the wood floors or deco tiles are insecurely laid on the floor surface just by being inserted from one wood floor or deco tile to the other wood floor or deco tile, to decrease a mutual coupling power, resulting in occurrence of the wood floors or deco tiles being separated or disengaged, and occurrence of noise and dislodgement of wood floors or deco tiles if part of the wood floors or deco tiles is fallen apart, leading to improper poor construction works.

Another disadvantage is that, if the distal end of the wood floors or deco tiles is formed with coupling lugs and coupling grooves, a surface coated layer is peeled off to allow fluid foreign objects to permeate into the wood floors or deco tiles, whereby the wood floors or deco tiles are polluted to discolor, and produce bad odor for a long time.

SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE

An object of the present disclosure is to solve at least one or more of the above problems and/or disadvantages in whole or in part, in which mutual coupling power in conventional deco tiles decreases after the tiles are laid on a floor surface to result in occurrence of the tiles being discrete or disengaged, and occurrence of noise and dislodgement if part of the tiles is fallen apart, leading to improper poor construction works and hazard to dweller health, and to provide an easily installable decoration tiles capable of preventing the decoration tiles from being polluted with liquid foreign objects by forming a coated layer using aerosol on surfaces of coupling lugs and rugged lugs, and coupling grooves and rugged grooves formed on the distal end of the decoration tiles.

In order to achieve at least the above object, in whole or in part, and in accordance with the purposes of the invention, as embodied and broadly described, and in one general aspect of the present invention, there is provided an easily installable decoration tile that is employed in construction work on an indoor floor surface (20), the tile comprising: a coupling lug (20) protrusively formed at a distal end of a tile body (10) to a lengthwise direction of the tile body (10); a rugged lug (21) adjacent to the coupling lug (20) and protrusively formed at an inner side of the tile body (10); a coupling groove (30) formed at the other distal end of the tile body (10) to a lengthwise direction of the tile body (10) to correspond to the coupling lug (20); a rugged groove (31) formed adjacent to the coupling groove (30) at an external side of the tile body (10) to correspond with the rugged lug (21); and a coated layer (40) formed on surfaces of the coupling lug (20) and rugged lug (21), and the coupling groove (30) and rugged groove (31).

Preferably, the coupling lug (20) is protrusively formed in a trapezoidal shape narrowing from an upper side of the distal end of the body (10) toward the external side, and the coupling groove (30) is grooved in a trapezoidal shape narrowing from an upper side of the other distal end of the body (10) toward an internal side.

Preferably, the rugged lug (21) is positioned adjacent to a bottom of the coupling lug (20) to be protrusively formed in three to five screw thread shapes toward an inner side direction of the body (10), and formed in a lengthwise direction of the body (10).

Preferably, the rugged groove (31) is positioned adjacent to a bottom of the coupling groove (30) at an external side of the body (10) to be concavely formed in three to five screw thread shapes toward an external side direction of the body (10) to correspond to the rugged lug (21).

Preferably, the coated layer (40) is formed by coating aerosol on surfaces of the coupling lug (20) and rugged lug (21), and the coupling groove (30) and rugged groove (31).

Preferably, one rugged lug (21) is formed adjacent to a bottom of the coupling lug (20) toward an inner side direction of the body (10) in a screw thread shape, and one rugged groove (31) is formed adjacent to a bottom of the coupling groove (30) toward an external side direction of the body (10) in a screw thread shape.

There is an advantageous effect in the easily installable decoration tile according to the present disclosure in that one distal end of a tile is formed with coupling lugs and rugged (prominence and depression, unevenness, irregularity) lugs, and the other opposite distal end of the tile is formed with coupling grooves and rugged grooves whereby a plurality of tiles can be tightly and securely fastened by allowing the coupling lugs to be inserted into the coupling grooves, and allowing the rugged lugs to be inserted into the rugged grooves, to increase coupling force between tiles, to increase durability of the tiles after construction works are done, to dispense with use of adhesives and to free dwellers from being worried about hazards.

There is another advantageous effect in that surfaces of coupling lugs and rugged lugs, and coupling grooves and rugged grooves formed on the distal end of the decoration tiles are coated with aerosol to form a coated layer to prevent the decoration tiles from being polluted with liquid foreign objects and to prevent the decoration tiles from being discolored and generating odor

Technical subjects to be solved by the present disclosure are not restricted to the above-mentioned description, and any other technical problems not mentioned so far will be clearly appreciated from the following description by the skilled in the art.

Therefore, additional advantages, objects, and features of the disclosure will be set forth in part in the description which follows and in part will become apparent to those having ordinary skill in the art upon examination of the following or may be learned from practice of the disclosure. The objectives and other advantages of the disclosure may be realized and attained by the structure particularly pointed out in the written description and claims hereof as well as the appended drawings.

It is to be understood that both the foregoing general description and the following detailed description of the present disclosure are exemplary and explanatory and are intended to provide further explanation of the disclosure as claimed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the drawings, sizes or shapes of constituent elements may be exaggerated for clarity and convenience.

In describing the present disclosure, detailed descriptions of constructions or processes known in the art may be omitted to avoid obscuring appreciation of the invention by a person of ordinary skill in the art with unnecessary detail regarding such known constructions and functions.

Accordingly, particular terms may be defined to describe the disclosure in the best mode as known by the inventors. Accordingly, the meaning of specific terms or words used in the specification and the claims should not be limited to the literal or commonly employed sense, but should be construed in accordance with the spirit and scope of the disclosure. The definitions of these terms therefore may be determined based on the contents throughout the specification.

An essential subject matter of the present disclosure is to provide an easily installable decoration tiles whereby adhesives are dispensed with in tightly and securely laying tiles on an indoor floor surface and dwellers are free from harmful hazards to provide the tiles durability after construction works are done, to prevent an improper construction by removing occurrence of noise from and/or dislodgement of tiles resultant from the tiles being discrete or disengaged, due to excellent coupling force among tiles, and to coat surfaces of coupling lugs and rugged lugs, and coupling grooves and rugged grooves formed on the distal end of the decoration tiles with aerosol to form a coated layer to prevent the decoration tiles from being polluted with liquid foreign objects and to prevent the decoration tiles from being discolored and generating odor.

Now, configuration of the easily installable decoration tile according to exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail.

The easily installable decoration tile according to exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure that is employed in construction work on an indoor floor surface (300) includes: a coupling lug (20) protrusively formed at a distal end of a tile body (10) to a lengthwise direction of the tile body (10); a rugged lug (21) adjacent to the coupling lug (20) and protrusively formed at an inner side of the tile body (10); a coupling groove (30) formed at the other distal end of the tile body (10) to a lengthwise direction of the tile body (10) to correspond to the coupling lug (20); a rugged groove (31) formed adjacent to the coupling groove (30) at an external side of the tile body (10) to correspond with the rugged lug (21); and a coated layer (40) formed on surfaces of the coupling lug (20) and rugged lug (21), and the coupling groove (30) and rugged groove (31).

Material of decoration tile according to the exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure is preferably synthetic resin (PVC), the tile body (10) is formed in a predetermined width and length and a coupling lug (20) and a rugged lug (21) are formed at a distal end of a tile body (10), and a coupling groove (30) and a rugged groove (31) are formed at the other distal end of the tile body (10) respectively, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 3.

The coupling lug (20) among the coupling lug (20) and the rugged lug (21) formed at the distal end of a tile body (10) is protrusively formed in a trapezoidal shape narrowing from an upper side of the distal end of the body (10) toward the external side and in a lengthwise direction of the tile body (10).

Furthermore, the rugged lug (21) is positioned adjacent to a bottom of the coupling lug (20) to be protrusively formed in, preferably, three to five screw thread shapes toward an inner side direction of the body (10), and formed in a lengthwise direction of the body (10).

The coupling groove (30) among the coupling groove (30) and the rugged groove (31) is concavely formed in a trapezoidal shape narrowing from an upper side of the other distal end of the tile body (10) toward an internal side, and in a lengthwise direction of the tile body (10) to correspond to the coupling lug (20).

Furthermore, the rugged groove (31) is positioned adjacent to a bottom of the coupling groove (30) at an external side of the body (10) to be concavely formed in, preferably, three to five screw thread shapes toward an external side direction of the body (10) to correspond to the rugged lug (21).

The coated layer (40) in the essential configuration in the above exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure functions to tightly seal surfaces of the coupling lug (20) and rugged lug (21), and the coupling groove (30) and rugged groove (31) formed on both distal ends of the body (10), is formed by coating aerosol on the surfaces of the coupling lug (20) and rugged lug (21), and the coupling groove (30) and rugged groove (31).

The aerosol is basically a material composed of SiO2 which is robust to heat, electricity and shock, and has an excellent characteristic of insulation, pest-resistant, sound proof and water proof As illustrated in FIG. 4, the coated layer (40) is formed by coating the aerosol on the surfaces of the coupling lug (20) and rugged lug (21), and the coupling groove (30) and rugged groove (31, using an ejection nozzle (50).

Therefore, if the coated layer (40) is formed on the surfaces of the coupling lug (20) and rugged lug (21), and the coupling groove (30) and rugged groove (31) formed on both distal ends of the body (10), liquid foreign objects are prevented from permeating inside of the body (10) to prevent the decoration tiles from being polluted and odor from lingering therein for a long time.

Now, an installation process of the decoration tiles thus configured according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 5 to 7.

First of all, the tile body (10) is attached to and laid on the indoor floor surface (300), and another tile body (10) is attached to and laid to the tile body (10). The coupling groove (30) of the tile body (10) attached to the indoor floor surface (300) is inserted by the lug (20) formed at the another tile body (10), and the another tile body (10) is attached to the indoor floor surface (300) to allow the rugged lug (21) to be press-fitted and inserted into the rugged groove (31), whereby decoration tiles can be securely and tightly coupled, and the indoor floor surface (300) can be constructed with the tiles according to the foregoing fastening method.

The installed structure of flooring tiles is such that coupling lugs (20) formed across the distal ends of the tile body (10) are inserted into the coupling grooves (30), and a plurality of rugged lugs (21) each in a screw thread shape is press-fitted and coupled to the rugged grooves (31), whereby coupling force among the tiles is greatly increased to prevent the tiles from being discrete and disengaged, and construction is simplified to securely and tightly couple the plurality of tiles, thereby dispensing with use of adhesives.

As a result, adhesives are dispensed with in tightly and securely laying tiles on the indoor floor surface (300) and dwellers are free from harmful hazards to provide the tiles durability after construction works are done, and to prevent an improper construction by removing occurrence of noise from and/or dislodgement of tiles resultant from the tiles being discrete or disengaged, due to excellent coupling force among tiles.

In another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure as illustrated in FIG. 8, one rugged lug (21) is formed adjacent to a bottom of the coupling lug (20) toward an inner side of the tile body (10) in a screw thread shape, and the rugged groove (31) is positioned adjacent to a bottom of the coupling groove (30) at an external side of the body (10) to be concavely formed in a screw thread shape toward an external side direction of the body (10).

Although another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure may reduce the number of rugged lugs (21) and the rugged grooves (31) to somewhat decrease the coupling force among the tiles, there is another advantage in that tile structure is simple to reduce the manufacturing cost and to increase workability.

As apparent from the foregoing, the easily installable decoration tiles according to the present disclosure has an industrial adaptability in that adhesives are dispensed with in tightly and securely laying tiles on an indoor floor surface and dwellers are free from harmful hazards to provide the tiles durability after construction works are done, and to prevent an improper construction by removing occurrence of noise from and/or dislodgement of tiles resultant from the tiles being discrete or disengaged, due to excellent coupling force among tiles, and surfaces of coupling lugs and rugged lugs, and coupling grooves and rugged grooves formed on the distal end of the decoration tiles are coated with aerosol to form a coated layer to prevent the decoration tiles from being polluted with liquid foreign objects and to prevent the decoration tiles from being discolored and generating odor.

The above-mentioned easily installable decoration tiles according to the present disclosure may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiment set forth herein. Thus, it is intended that embodiment of the present disclosure may cover the modifications and variations of this disclosure provided they come within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents.

While particular features or aspects may have been disclosed with respect to several embodiments, such features or aspects may be selectively combined with one or more other features and/or aspects of other embodiments as may be desired.

Claims

1. An easily installable decoration tile that is employed in construction work on an indoor floor surface (20), the tile comprising: a coupling lug (20) protrusively formed at a distal end of a tile body (10) to a lengthwise direction of the tile body (10); a rugged lug (21) adjacent to the coupling lug (20) and protrusively formed at an inner side of the tile body (10); a coupling groove (30) formed at the other distal end of the tile body (10) to a lengthwise direction of the tile body (10) to correspond to the coupling lug (20); a rugged groove (31) formed adjacent to the coupling groove (30) at an external side of the tile body (10) to correspond with the rugged lug (21); and a coated layer (40) formed on surfaces of the coupling lug (20) and rugged lug (21), and the coupling groove (30) and rugged groove (31).

The decoration tile of claim 1, wherein the coupling lug (20) is protrusively formed in a trapezoidal shape narrowing from an upper side of the distal end of the body (10) toward the external side, and the coupling groove (30) is grooved in a trapezoidal shape narrowing from an upper side of the other distal end of the body (10) toward an internal side.

3. The decoration tile of claim 1, wherein the rugged lug (21) is positioned adjacent to a bottom of the coupling lug (20) to be protrusively formed in three to five screw thread shapes toward an inner side direction of the body (10), and formed in a lengthwise direction of the body (10).

The decoration tile of claim 1, wherein the rugged groove (31) is positioned adjacent to a bottom of the coupling groove (30) at an external side of the body (10) to be concavely formed in three to five screw thread shapes toward an external side direction of the body (10) to correspond to the rugged lug (21).

5. The decoration tile of claim 1, wherein the coated layer (40) is formed by coating aerosol on surfaces of the coupling lug (20) and rugged lug (21), and the coupling groove (30) and rugged groove (31).

6. The decoration tile of claim 1, wherein one rugged lug (21) is formed adjacent to a bottom of the coupling lug (20) toward an inner side direction of the body (10) in a screw thread shape, and one rugged groove (31) is formed adjacent to a bottom of the coupling groove (30) toward an external side direction of the body (10) in a screw thread shape.
