DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As shown in FIG. 1 through FIG. 12, the multi-function table according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a table body 10, a first table board 20, a table tennis table board 40, and a second table board 50.

The table body 10 comprises table legs 12 and a table face 11 connected to the table legs 12. The table face 11 has a trough 111 thereon.

The first table board 20 is placed in the trough 111 of the table body 10. The first table board 20 has an air hockey table face 21 at one side thereof and a billiard table face 22 at a reverse side thereof. The first table board 20 is rotatably connected to the table body 10 through a central rotatable axle. Two positioning lock devices are provided between the first table board 20 and the table body 10. The two positioning lock devices are located at symmetrical positions relative to the central rotatable axle. Each of the positioning lock devices comprises a rotatable knob 31 and a pull lock 32 which are located at one end of the table body 10. One end of the first table board 20 is connected with a positioning axle 23. When the positioning axle 23 of the first table board 20 is locked by the rotatable knob 31 and the rotatable knob 31 is locked by the pull lock 32, the first table board 20 is fixed relative to the table body 10. When the pull lock 32 is loosened and the rotatable knob 31 is rotated to release the positioning axle 23, the first table board 20 is rotatable relative to the central rotatable axle. FIG. 5 shows the multi-function table as an air hockey table in a locked state. The positioning axle 23 is locked by the rotatable knob 31 and the rotatable knob 31 is locked by the pull lock 32. When the first table board 20 is reversed as a billiard table, the pull lock 32 is loosened and the rotatable knob 31 is turned 90 degrees, as shown in FIG. 6, to release the positioning axle 23 so that the first table board 20 is reversed and the billiard table face 22 faces upward. FIG. 7 shows the state of the positioning lock device. After that, the rotatable knob 31 is turned 90 degrees to lock the positioning axle 23 and the pull lock 32 is turned to lock the rotatable knob 31. Thus, the first table board 20 is positioned and secured as a billiard table face.

The table tennis board 40 is detachably connected to the table body 10. The table tennis board 40 comprises a tabletop 41 and a middle net 42. The middle net 42 is detachably mounted on the tabletop 41.

The second table board 50 is detachably connected to the table body 10 or the table tennis board 40. The second table board 50 has a coffee table face 51 at one side thereof and a playing card table face 52 at a reverse side thereof. In this embodiment, the playing card table face 52 is provided with a layer of flannelette.

The table body 10 further comprises a partition board 13 under the table face 11. The partition board 13 is connected to the table legs 12. The partition board 13 has a storage recess 14 and a lid 15 to cover the storage recess 14, so that the accessories of the multi-function table can be stored in the storage recess 14. The partition board 13 has notches 16 at two ends thereof. The notches 16, the table legs 12 and the table face 11 define an accommodation space to receive a triangular chair 60. When the chair 60 is not used, it can be received in the accommodation space, so the multi-function table is compact.

Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
